    710 coils

Using a torch, not an enail. The opaque inserts need a little more heat energy to get up to vaporizing temp than solid inserts

    710 coils

I put a 30mm axial on my Mac Eleven Glass mop bucket. And it's awesome. I like it because my bubble caps have a shorter stem and the shorter depth of this bucket works better with them. I really like the extra wraps of this coil with the Mopbucket. It's a big upgrade from the Augusthaus coil I...

    710 coils

The sauce jars are a somewhat uniform ~1-1.5mm thickness. (I just mean the bottom isn't any thicker) I think they are borosilicate glass- higher K value so they should heat faster than quartz. And of course are thinner. Opaque quartz inserts must be the worst possible thing for drop in tech IMO...

    FC E-Nail by JCat

Would it be possible for a DIY'er to construct a copycat device using your parts buildlist and then acquire settings/firmware/phone software from you, or was that possibility exclusive to the Open-Source Enail project? Apology for delay on acrylic. I have had a dual PID project trying to get...

    710 coils

The main reason that I purchased a 30mm banger and coil was to be able to 'finish off' the 6ml sauce jars I get all my work samples in. I don't like holding the insert at a constant temperature because it will take a long time to come up to temp and then spike as it passes the point of optimal...

Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

This should get that job done https://www.w9tech.com/on-sale/hercules-71-74x-parts/510-to-601-hercules-adapter-bottom-insulator/ That's a 601 female, 510 male threaded Hercules adapter/bottom insulator, when correctly adjusted with a flathead screwdriver it should allow transmission of...

Give me a week or two I might be able to help you out with this.

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

You guys are both correct in most ways. Yes rosin contains all of those non cannabinoid, non terpene components, the majority of which are not extracted during a cold temperature solvent extraction. Flower rosin has more of them than hash rosin since we're not pressing and heating plant material...

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

Holy fuck I can't believe you are so fucking stupid that you open blasted explosive butane indoors in a bathroom and then came on the internet to talk about it. In 2018. What the fuck is going on here? What the hell has happened to FC? Why is any of this okay? I know people who have died and...

    Terp Sauce ???

I am attempting to downplay nothing, besides assumptions. I grow tired of people telling me that crystals must be crashed out with cold temperatures, or excess solvent has to be left to provide a solvent liquid for crystalization to proceed in, or that the whole process has to take months. I...

    Terp Sauce ???

I'm really beat up from a car accident last week so I'm not going to go into nearly the depth i would usually try to help explain more details.. I'm sorry to say that most of what I skimmed over in the first few posts is just.. not accurate...

    Quartz Banger Thread

I haven't used any really new Evan Shores, but I've used some older ones and they work fine. I don't notice any major differences between an ESB or a QCB. It has a unique shape but it's made out of the same material and both bangers have the same base and wall thickness so they're functionally...

    Gear D-nail thread

I don't follow the newvape thread closely but I'll read any links you have to share! I used a DIY box built over six or seven years ago.... wired to the "d-nail" pinout as per Gimodo parts and various instructions back in the day. Yes at the time there were "other ways to do it" but D nail...

    Gear D-nail thread

What's interesting is that by the time High Five vaporizers was established as a company, there were over a dozen companies making hot runner coils and Enail boxes with the "d-nail" standard wiring schematic., as well as every DIY enail box tutorial Ive seen has instructions on wiring to the...

    Gear D-nail thread

I've never used it, but it does look like it would be a lot more stable than D-nail's 14/18 stepped adaptor. However just from the looks of it, it seems to have a lot more metal mass than the D-nail parts. I would personally rather use a 14-18mm reducer with D-nails fantastic 14mm male base on...

    Quartz Banger Thread

Great minds think alike. I always rough up my Q tip by rubbing it along an Oil Slick silicone mat to create a much larger, more absorptive "mop head". I do the same thing with my quartz bangers and Mothership honeypot swings, but I use 99% isopropyl alcohol instead of distilled water on the...

    710 coils

Is that 30mm "Monster" coil going to be one of the "axial" designs? I've been contemplating buying an Augusthaus 30mm just to get the coil; I'd rather pair it with a locally made banger with a beveled inner edge (for a bubble cap) FWIW, when I've inquired about "hot runner coil" materials in...

    Gear D-nail thread

Yes I am exhaling the hits as fast as they are getting in my lungs! With these high terpene live resins I process, the higher amounts of monoterpenes can be very harsh, which is why I like spending more time at the lower temperatures. Are the concentrates that work with your technique substances...

    Gear D-nail thread

My main goal is to vaporize the HTE / terpene rich compounds first at a lower temp where I can handle it, and then turn up the temperature to convert the THCA and vaporize the higher boiling point compounds. I like a lot of flavor so I take medium sized dabs and I usually get 3-8 pulls per dab...

    Discontinued Triton Oil Vaporization System

Yep I have yet to get the wicks but am looking forward to trying them out along with some different techniques and power settings. I always suggested loading the previous generation's 1701 by sandwiching oil between the donut heater and the wick, so that oils are in contact with the heater as...
