Glad you found it useful :) let me know if there's anything else you wanna know about the fw9 and I can try answer! There definitely does need to be more documentation of these devices.

    Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

Maybe, if so he's much more humble than me! I know if I went to that effort it'd be broadcasted everywhere to try get people to buy my shit  I couldn't find the titanium PP used but I read the same thing that grade 2 is the meant to be the purest available but my source was Wikipedia...

Np! I added some images to the message to try make it a little clearer

    Firewood Vaporizer

That wooden part threads into the bowl. Lefty loosy to get that part off. Trying to show the part I push on to get it moving in the image below The next image shows how I actually position my hand to twist it off. I can get nice leverage in this position There's a ceramic donut under that. It...

    Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

If the TA is made of titanium it might be an alloy with a bit of iron in it to make it work with induction heaters? I feel like if there was an induction sleeve in there it'd be advertised because it sounds like a lot of extra manufacturing effort to not show off.

Ball vape with ss balls and induction heating

Nice one. I can't say for sure it'll be an issue for you but I'm wondering would you have to think about interference stepping down from 230V to 24V for the coil. If the PID controller uses a relay to apply power to the coil you could be dealing with a non-linear load that might cause problems...

Ball vape with ss balls and induction heating

Sorry I didn't word it very well. If we say that we wanna heat the enail coil with 100W at 12V you would need 100/12 = 8.33A (P/V = I). So we take the enail coil we wanna push 8.33A through with 12V and we can determine the max resistance it could be to achieve this with V/I = R, 12/8.33 = 1.44...

Ball vape with ss balls and induction heating

To match the power of the 250V enails with a 12V enail you'd need a shit load of current tbf. I'm basing that off Power = Voltage * Current So unless there's an inverter that brings you back to 250V for the enail I'd imagine it'll be slow like them reviews say because the resistance of the coil...

    Anvil by Vestratto

Yeah the anvil's heat sleeve has a black o-ring at the end that creates a good seal with 14mm joints. The WPA adaptor @btka suggested would be a better job for dedicated bubbler use. They way I used it sounds similar to your plans and I found the stock stem did a grand job as a wpa. I had the...

The MagSink will probably cool the TA quicker than the MH Reload because of the cooling fins but other than that I'd say they'll work the same.

    Quick Vestratto Forge induction heater

The Forge has an extra 18650 in the Milwaukee battery powering it so it's more powerful to speed up heating the anvil. If you're not using a big vape with your wand you probably don't need the forge. The forge also lets you control energy and power output where as the wand only lets you set...

    TinyMight / TM 2

I personally don't notice a big difference between the affects of the low temp and high temp sessions. I will admit I only have access to one strain and it's usually amnesia haze. I've been trying to keep my herb to what I'd call a medium-dark brown roast lately. I used to nearly exclusively go...

Ball vape with ss balls and induction heating

Here's a cool video I found demonstrating the skin affect on induction heaters. The original idea of a ball vape full of metal balls would probably work but you would want a appropriate controller for the induction coil that's switching at a lower frequency than what we'd probably see in most...

    Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

Could someone who owns a TA and a Tempest check if the the TA fits in the wand adaptor for the Tempest please? I'm really interested in the TA3, but I wanna use it with the wand and I don't wanna have to keep taking the adaptor out and putting it back for switching between the 2. I've seen the...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I was able to clean the patina off my anvil using bar keepers friend. I googled there and the main active ingredient is oxalic acid if you can't find the bar keepers. The bottle I bought was the powdered kind, I mixed some of the powder with a drop of water to make a paste and I left the parts...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie (Pre Release Prototype) Comparisons

Would anyone that gets one of the TA v2 heaters and owns a tempest mind comparing them please? I'm particularly interested in how the bowl volumes compare, how well they heat with the wand and the heat retention. I already own a tempest and I was planning on buying another head as a spare with...

    TinyMight / TM 2

I highly recommend turning the dial down to 2/2.5, I used to keep my TM2 around 6/7 until I saw a few people in this thread talking about how great the flavour is down at 2.5. I finally tried it 2 weeks ago and immediately fell in love. I get 3/4 really tasty hits at temp 2.5 and then I turn it...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I had actually been writing my earlier replies from my day job as a graduate electrical engineer 😅 I'll admit I only work in harness design & PLC programming for 12V DC systems but I found your comments interesting so I had a go answering! I was far from the best student so I make mistakes...

Thank you should probably move my responses there as this is probably off the topic of the tempest? My bad if so!

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Yes you're right about my mistake referring to the eddy currents as an AC signal. I was thinking the the eddy currents as being one constant current source that was changing and not a bunch of small signals that exist for a tiny piece of time. Yes this is because I was thinking of the AC signal...
