Herbie V2 by Vape Engineering - 510 dry herb vaporizer

The splinter and iHeat have mesh in common, just like Herbie and many others. It seems to only be thorny for you.

    The HI

Glad to see you are enjoying your square HI @vaporoufixtras The photos and video looks great. The trick I use for installing the screws is a bit of beeswax on the end of the screwdriver to hold the screw while getting it started. I wish that Voltage Keepers were still made. They were very...

    The HI

You are welcome @Vaporooni Thanks for posting a video. @GoldenBud - Always good to see videos you post. @vaporoufixtras - The stainless steel heater covers I use are too small to install quartz balls, which would also greatly restrict the air flow. I also couldn’t guarantee the balls would...

    CouchLog

A 1/2" diameter screen will work at the bottom of the 14mm joint and a 17mm diameter screen will work at the bottom of the 18mm joint to create a roasting bowl. Here is a thread I started a while back that discusses it...

    Glass Bowls for Injector Desktops

The shortened joint has the advantage of being less likely to become stuck in addition to allowing more distance above the screen.

    Paper Roasting Tubes

That is exactly how I use my paper roasting tube for my 3/8" ss heater cover HI. The glass feels nicer on your lips than the silicone. I also place some hemp fiber in the glass tube as a filter. It catches the particles that make it through the screen and makes the vapor smoother. I enjoy...

    Glass Bowls for Injector Desktops

This is what I have been using for a glass injector style roasting bowl. It is a standard 18mm female to 14mm male adapter with a 17mm flat screen in the tapered joint. The material is closer to the heat source, so it can run at a lower wattage.

    The HI

Thanks so much for the kind words and posting the video and photos @Vitolo Glad the testing is going well. The heavy duty cardboard HI is based on the concept I had for a toilet paper tube HI, where a puck shaped wood base slides into the tube. The power plug extends through a hole in the...

    Glass Bowls for Injector Desktops

Here is a thread I started a while back about 18mm glass roasting tubes for wand / injector style units. 18mm glass roasting tubes I hammer 5/8" ss screens until they are 17mm in diameter to fit into the bottom of the 18mm joint. Injector style units with truncated tips like the elev8r will work...

    Paper Roasting Tubes

The tube w/ cork sleeves is just plain white printer paper. The tube w/ silicone sleeves is made from 25% cotton bond paper. Brown paper can also be used. Ideally, the paper would be made from hemp. There is wheat or rice paper as an option. Bleach is probably used to get the paper so white, but...

    Toasty Roasting Tubes

I have been making stainless steel, glass, silicone, and wood tubes for my herbal roasters for over 10 years now. My website is finally updated to show the majority of the ones I make, so it’s time to start a thread for them. Toasty Roasting Tubes I refer to them as “Roasting Tubes”, since...

    The HI

It has been a busy year here. I’ve made a few interesting things and finally got my website updated with most of the things that I make. Seems like there will always be things that need to be added. Should answer a lot of questions so I won’t need to spend as much time explaining what I make via...

    iHeat 510 Heater Cartridge

Glad you are able to use so many different roasting tubes with the iHeat using the silicone sleeve @GoldenBud Speaking of silicone sleeves. I found that an 18mm female glass tube will fit nicely to a StemPod deck using one. It allows enough room to install a spiral coil heater. The roasting is...

    The HI

There is a strip of metal inside the power socket that touches the outside of the plug barrel. If you gently pry it towards the center pin using a tiny screwdriver, it will make better contact when you plug in the extension cord. Send me an email if you are still having issues.

    Discontinued Lil' Bud by Vapwood

I would guess that there were a couple of hundred of the classic LB's made based on the number of roasting tubes I made for Mike. @BakedDiogenes - Glad the roasting tubes arrived safely. Thanks for posting the photos.

The right button switches between on and off. The left button switches the displays [0] Input voltage, [1] Output voltage, and [2] Alternating between Input and Output voltage. If you press and hold the left button for more than two seconds, it memorizes the voltage so it will start there when...
