My friend got 47 hours of run time from his first unit, the latest failure was 38.1.
He just purchased a Mighty+ Medic and will look at the Venty again in 6 to 12 months...hopefully sorted by then.
My friend's replacement Venty is now getting the E04 error (the same as his first example). The Aussie seller is going to give him a refund, I will not repeat what the seller said about S$B...he might have some spare CU's to sell cheap now as it is almost impossible to get a Venty in Oz!
Not me, like I said, I like how it can handle more than I can.
Vapes like the Peak Pro & Pockety use a thermocouple so you will never blacken the goo at a sensible temp, just keep puffing until the vapor stops, wipe, reload and repeat.
I find it is as you can chew through the crappy stuff faster and move on.
I never shut my plates between presses as I was always told to release hydraulic pressure from machinery when finished so you are not stressing seals etc for no reason while the gear is not being used.
I would think so as many vapes can hold more than 1.5g of dry herb.
That is definitely a decent-sized dab, even more than I would want...nice, I like prodiucts that can deliver more than I want!
I wouldn't say I liked the early ceramic atty version (as it stained quite quickly) but the later quartz atty isn't that bad and a step up in flavour from the metal wire/fitted quartz-type attys again.
The only smell, if any (apart from the normal Kanthal taste some peeps can taste), comes from the new silicone in the cooling unit. The best way to get rid of the new silicone smell (if it a problem for you) is to wash the silicone part with soapy water, rinse very thoroughly then leave the...
Not herb below the screen then.
I also use 100% iso to clean the top of my Roffu oven, I have squirted iso through many vapes to clean them and just make sure to thoroughly force dry o/night before using them again. I have a Fury2 that blocks up from bong blowback that has had iso squirted...
I am very satisfied with the taste of my Roffu. The burnt popcorn taste is reached after the load has been spent, try using the white disc raised a little as suggested by @vapviking so your herb load is not being scorched at the bottom before the whole load gets a chance to vaporize.
I would...
Should not wobble either, I got a part refund for the same fault on another rig from them, worth a shot and hopefully helps them with quality output if they know of the problem.
Sorry you had a bad experience but your 'it works for me' quote above was not given to you on this thread (or forum from what I can see). We all here like to give info to help as a rule.
The newer style dosing caps were made shorter so you can use the caps without having to remove the heating chamber disc. I do prefer the older style even though I have to remove the disc for the cooling unit to sit flush...the extra capacity of the older style caps also gives an extra puff or 2.
After putting over 10,000 puffs on my OG and many 100s on others, I will say harder pulls give me more vapor...sipping or slow draws do not give me great results...you need to draw the heat thru the load to vape it properly.
The roasted colour on my 180c/355f vaped load usually comes out darker...
I find soaking really stained glass like a banger etc in SimpleGreen for a day or 3 works a treat when iso etc will not work but still needs the friction as you explained.
About the same as changing bongs with your banger, I have a couple of cheapish glass pieces but usually just end up back with the new laser cut job that comes with the Pro2 as it does the job well and is easiest to maintain...especially compared to the recycler I have for the Peak.
What I would...
Cool, don't forget to mount the glass directly above the oven to remove most of the silicone from the vapor path,
If you are still unsatisfied with the taste, you may be one of the few people who can taste the Kanthal heating element used here in the Roffu.
