Yeah I have my doubts also. Especially since I will be filling the bowl. Only stem on the market that could come close to cooling a deep roasted 0.3g bowl is the Tempest/Revolve stem imo. I believe the Tornado is smooth, mainly due to extra conduction. But 0.3g is 0.3g at the end of the day...

I thought that too. But it works really well. I think it evenly spreads the pressure. I used to push it through with my thumb, and it would seem like the insert or my thumb was going to break.

It's much easier to push it through using the Tempest itself.

@RogueGuy Do you envision any trade off's for the coiled QC Mega? I'm trying to decide whether to wait for it or not. I imagine it would more open airflow compared to 18mm. But would it behave differently in terms of the heat dynamics? Also, do you think it will take a long time before release?

ZX is great for flavour, as I dont think it gets more pure than Zirconia, and pure convection. I imagine the coiled Quartz cap vapes are tasty also, but I don't own one. I've never had a log vape, but they look like desktop TM2's to me, and TM2 is incredible for flavour.

I found the OG stem to not cool enough for the 0.1g Anvil bowl when I had it. I would presume the Tornado would be more uncomfortable with the increased vapour density from the bowl size. I could be wrong however since users report it being quite smooth.

My memory is not great, but I think John said a Tornado stem is in the works. I wonder if he has tried to engineer more cooling into it, considering the extra large bowl. Depending on what he comes up with, I might just get the adaptor and put it on the Tempest stem.

In the future, if my ZX coil needs replacing. Am I going to be able replicate the fit? I'm based in UK so I think about this sometimes. It's one of the positives to a wireless version imo.
