    The Screwball by Vapvana

Ah. Even if the seals are rated for it, I think if you do that very often you'll degrade them. Those sound like silicone or another material. No surprise they leaked pigment with IPA exposure. Green hnbr or colored viton generally don't do this. Black viton has no dye.

How are you "testing" the orings in IPA? What %?Why? Viton is rated for it. You don't have to guess on this, there are charts all over. Glass is harder than Ti. The ti rubs off like cutlery in a ceramic bowl. I get the same thing in ground joints with a Shovelhead ti bowl.

    The Screwball by Vapvana

We don't need to debate whether any FC users have a THC addiction, it's a certainty. I make no judgement either way on it. Notice my lack of detail in that. I'm not addressing that any further in this thread. PM if you want. When I see hyperbolic comments about minor issues, it's not hard to...

    The Screwball by Vapvana

My take is that there are some addiction and anxiety issues tied into it. I don't like that some people vent those frustrations on others. If they get worked up over it, maybe it's time for some self reflection. People react as though a dialog isn't possible, instead of acting curious and...

    The Screwball by Vapvana

Right? Like, where's the human empathy here? These are our bros! They're making stuff we wouldn't have dreamed of years ago. To do it all on likely a tiny budget is impressive. If it's a quality product, and the interactions are respectful, my patience is relatively unlimited. No point getting...

Quartz Heater Insert for CH Mercury

It's a convenient holder with a simple shape.

Quartz Heater Insert for CH Mercury

Using an insert could replace both metal screens and eliminate any metal from the vapor path. Sort of how they do it with the Matrix bowl.

Quartz Heater Insert for CH Mercury

Today I had an interesting idea. The only thing really different about the Qaroma Quartz head vs others with rubies, is the screen and housing material. They both heat the air with the same media. What if you took a CH Mercury head and had a quartz insert made? You could even seal the insert...

Collyland Aromatizer (formerly Vapbong by Art of Vapor)

Take some strong thread and tie it to your wire with a fisherman knot at the very end. Tape over all the air holes. Get a piece of tubing and either stuck or blow the thread through. If you're rebuilding the old style coil, I'd say quit while you're ahead and get the new heater. Don't use the...

The Advanced Telemetry Module by REFC Labs - The world's first advanced precision & multi-core capable desktop heater controller

So far my self-built ATM has been great. Mainly got it for my Vapbong OAB, but it should do well with my Herborizer as well. I'll say that I'm usually running it a little lower voltage with it vs stock vapbong vvps. 9.2-9.7v has been awesome with the current vapbong cartridge heater. There was...

Has anyone hooked one of these up to a PID? Can I get a basic PID kit from CH, strip the wires back and mount a plug?

    Butane torch thread

You guys might like this one too. No ignitor, so more reliable. Adjustment by knob as well. https://www.lacytools.ca/Orca-Butane-Torch-p/mp99ps.htm

Collyland Aromatizer (formerly Vapbong by Art of Vapor)

A while back I bought a slightly used OAB from a member on here. It worked just as I expected it to, but the flavor was a bit off. After some testing, we figured out it was the kanthal coil. Couple weeks back I replaced the coil with the new ceramic cartridge heater. That made a significant...

    Atomizer for distillate?

What I ended up with was a Billet Box with an adaptor for ceramic coils. It worked as well as distillate ever does. I used a Atmizoo Snail Tank, Velvet Vape Euc Adapter, and Ceramic EUC coils. Holds maybe 3-5ml, can't remember exactly.

    Portable Butane Burner for Dynavap

Has anyone used a bunsen burner style flame for their dynavap? I'm looking at this one because it has a decent capacity and a better looking nozzle than most. https://www.ferreestoolsinc.com/products/l62-deluxe-portable-butane-bunsen-burner

Electric vapes with all-glass air & vapor path?

Yeah, but not "couch" safe. Thankfully they wised up and changed to metals. Way more efficient, faster heating, and cools down faster.

Electric vapes with all-glass air & vapor path?

Basically the answer after all this is that exactly what you want doesn't exist unless the BakX is affordable to you. The Vaponic is an interesting option though. When you have numerous strict requirements, that's what happens. You'll need to be more flexible with your use or materials to get...

    Heaviest hitting

The key with any of this is the ability to heat the largest surface area without cooking the terpenes. If you want a bigger hit, you either need more material heated or stronger material. More heat just means hotter vapor and less flavor. Out of the Volcano Hybrid, TM2, and Vapbong, the...
