The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I strongly advise you to do so in order to get the most out of your Tempest. Also a strong flame can fuck up the induction sleeve, as it’s pretty thin and can easily glow red. Mine’s already grey and dull, I have new sleeves ordered.

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

After a little more than a week with the Tempest I can surely confirm that I’m very happy with it. First part of the week I was torching, then the Wand arrived and I never went back. Thanks @HashOnMyMind for insisting in getting one. You’re just right on that. It’s possible to torch the...

You can buy one of these cheap tobacco stick vapes + sticks and replace the tobacco with weed. Not ideal, but works for sure. That’s how I discovered that vaping is fun. A friend brought one of those devices to the bar and we were joking around about getting stoned with it. Then we tried it out...

    TinyMight / TM 2

Just made myself a TM2 protective cap out of leather that also covers the vent holes. It’s a tight fit that won’t come off while the TM2 rumbles around in my bag. It takes a little twist to remove. This is my personal Mk III and it works perfect. In case someone wants to make their own, you’ll...

    Tornado by Vestratto

Maybe the click discs need to be broken in. I experienced this twice with new Anvil bowls. At first the clicks come very late and 1 second apart from another. But after some heating cycles they work with the usual Vestratto precision.

It actually heats up in 2 seconds, but takes 38 to boot the software 😂 *Joking

Nice. But no reason for me to invest. I don’t mind the torching time as long as I get perfect repeatable results, which is the case. Same. If the Forge hit can’t be replicated by torch, I’m in. Still don’t mind heat up time, but I want the full Tornado functionality for sure. I just recently...

    Tornado by Vestratto

I’d much rather consider the Forge, if it wouldn’t be battery powered. I’d use it solely with the Tornado and I don’t use to go out with my bong. So a wall powered version would be much more convenient for me. For my Anvil I don’t need a Forge, as I learned to torch it perfectly every single...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

The spring may be stuck and needs to be pulled up. This has been explained by Brenyo here a few days ago. Go back a bit in this thread or in my posts, you’ll find it quick. There’s also a guide for disassembling and assembling the spring at the bottom of the manual.

How crazy fast is that Forge? 😳 Very impressive. Vapor production is as quick as the Anvil I’d say, but just more. What is it that’s more mind blowing about it over ball vapes @Sidoney? Can you feel the smaller droplets hitting you harder?

    Opened Cannabis containers, and freshness.

In my experience you’ll taste the plastic over time. I store my bud in ultraviolet glass jars. Bigger ones for storage, smaller ones for daily withdrawal. Sometimes I have good weed that doesn’t hit well. 2-3 weeks in that jars and it hits as fuck. Fermentation can be applied anytime. My last...

As far as I can tell most parcel carriers are working in precarious circumstances while the company maximizes profits on their back. That’s why almost every single parcel service sucks nowadays. But I consider DPD to be one of the most unreliable services. If I can, I choose DHL.

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Now we’re talking! This is the kind of hit I’m going for, warm and punchy. I found that fully opening the cap airflow + going careful on it suits me better than more restriction + harder draw. At least at the moment, I’m sure this will change several times while learning. But I’m starting to...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Thank you guys for the good suggestions 👍 I think I got it working properly now. While adding stem airflow I discovered what I was doing wrong: My draw was way too light. Drawing harder and occasionally open the carb a crack helped a lot. Now this vape behaves like expected and I can work my...

@humbuckers I do try the suggestions, but I also want to understand what I’m doing and why. This leads to learning which adds joy to my life 😉 I’ve never been able to learn stuff without understanding it.

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

First of all I discovered my VI to be kind of stuck. It moves, but stopped at the 2nd mark, no matter how much heat I applied. That’s why I heated past the 2nd click and combusted hard - I wanted that thing to move 😅 Took the VI apart as @Brenyo suggested to @GnarlyVandal, put it back together...

    Anvil by Vestratto

Same is true for verdampftnochmal.de 👍 It’s been out of stock for ages. The XL bowl adds some conduction to the mix, which makes the effects stronger. Absolutely love this thing! It’s the only anvil bowl you’ll ever need, cause you can pack it as light as you want. Fill it up or throw almost...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

3rd day with my tempest, trying to get an even extraction. The top roast is much darker than the rest, also there could be more and thicker vapor. I’m torching 5 seconds above the 2nd click and take long slow draws. Cap airflow at 50%, stem closed. I’m looking forward to try a wand. This...
