I don’t think that the bowl can really hold 0.4g. First of all, 0.2g plus 55% is 0.31g. But who squeezes 0.2g into the XL cap? When I pack mine lightly with a medium coarse grind, it holds 0.08 - 0.1g. I can’t imagine to put double the amount in, feels way too tight for an effective extraction...

Finer vapor means better absorption by the lungs. Smoke is finer than vapor, that’s why it hits faster and harder. If the atomizer works as intended, the difference should be noticeable.

I put the rocket stem to a sunny spot or just use it wet. It’s a pita to dry it, this can take 2 days or so. But since you can use it wet, it’s no big deal.

Thanks for the hint, this thing is awesome. It has just arrived, now 10 minutes later I’m very well medicated 😋 The airflow is WAY better than with the standard glass wpa. Also the roast is more even, since the hot air can travel through the whole bowl. Love it!

You must not let it touch the metal cage, that’s where the damage in the color comes from. Putting some o-rings around should help to avoid that.

Does anyone have experience with DLC in an ultrasonic cleaner? Anodized aluminum can loose color and become dull, as I just learned the hard way. Now I wonder if I can ultrasonic clean the full black Tempest that’ll arrive here hopefully soon. I don’t want to ruin the color or the finish.

I eat my ABV too, no paranoia at all. Seems that the happy stuff is vaped away, leaving the heavy stuff behind. Not in terms of hard hitting, but in making you heavy and sloooow. For it’s own the effect is not that strong. But it makes a good base level, so that additional vaping really kicks in.

A friend of mine uses lighter fluid to clean the resistant vape parts. He says that all residue is removed by one quick rinse.

That’s exactly what I did 😁 I reckon you can leave the balls in the head for cleaning, as the residue is fine enough for the screen. I’ll find out when my Tempest arrives.
