Are you sure you get all of this delivered?
Yeah, I'm a bit worried now. I received my Paypal authorisation, and nothing much else. If something is too good to be true....

I guess I'm protected by PayPal, but I should have done more research before leaping. Just reading other parts of the website, and I'm noticing dodgy grammar and Americanised English. I feel dumb now. Although, it might still be proved to be legit (although I don't think I'll hold my breath).

Cool collection there Mr🤘, what's your favourite piece?

I've thought about acquiring a few more pieces but my collecting days are over, been selling off all my nick knacks.

To single out a favorite is tough; aesthetically the new to me custom Omni is stunning, the one 's behind it are all beautiful and carefully curated.
all of them get used so I can admire them properly.
for vaping flavor and effects the Camouflet XL convectors with xl Dovetail stems or Ceramo win the reach test.

So... I just bought my first dynavap. The G3 was just what I was waiting for I guess.
But while I'm waiting for the delivery, it seems that the lighter provided in the kit is a soft flame lighter, the ones with the wire that hardens the flame, but not a torch.
Can someone confirms ?
If it's indeed a soft flame, I'll buy a clipper torch to fit in the tin. But the price of the kit seems less good now...

Edit : I'll try the kit as it is. But I plan on adding a fmj in the future and I think a real torch will be needed for this...

It's a blue flame torch as far as I can tell, it's got a tiny flame though. Not sure how Troy adjusted his...

Edit: actually, I'm not sure. I haven't heard of that type of lighter, so this could be that. It works well with the G3 but it's weird for sure.

Mine says "jet flame" on it and seems like a real torch to me. I also don't know about the type of soft flame lighter you're referring to though, so it could be that.

Mine has been pretty inconsistent so far. Sometimes huge flame sometimes small. Hoping it improves after the first refill. The flame is also not turning red anymore with mine.

The pink / red color is due to a lithium wire in the flame path. When the wire has burned or is dislodged then the flame don't change color.
Have you been running it on its stock butane ?

I can't tell the technical difference between "soft jet flame" and "torch" but the second has a stronger flame and is hotter. They're not the same burners.

Going down further on this rabbit hole I've found that clipper has a "soft" line which refers to the texture of the butane tank. (Soft to the touch). So I think the lighters in dynavap com pictures are just that.

Last rant about the lighters : I don't like the fact that they're sending random color lighters when ALL their communication shows a black one, including the kits they sent to reviewers / influencers. I really hope I'll get a black one..

Back on topic, @hotmeals how do you like the G3 ? Are you using it with the captive cap or an armored ?
@coolbreeze sod you got one as well ?

It's torch powered for sure just has a color changing metal in it's path. Cool idea but doesn't change anything but the colour

I use the M7/M7XL—mainly the M7XL—heated exclusively with the Wand. Using the black Wand insert, I’m heating the cap, and it works consistently great every time. I‘ve found no need to heat the bottom.

Also, I picked up a Halo tip, and this works great with the M7XL. I’d say, paired this way, it’s generally kind of an upgrade to the M7XL. The only thing about this tip from my experience, is that it sometimes doesn’t heat up with the Wand and black insert. When this happens, the Wand light keeps blinking, there is no click, and no heating occurs. If I use the Wand open without the black insert, the Halo tip heats up consistently every time. My guess is the Wand, at least when using the black insert, doesn’t always interact well with the the Ti material of the Halo tip. I don’t know the science behind this. It’s just my speculation based on experience.

Finally, for a good look at how the Halo tip offers an alternative type of upgrade to the M7XL, Lee at Table Top Bong, explains it well.

Stock or with the option of adding a Halo tip, the M7XL (used with the Wand) is a very nice and effective device! Thanks TigoleBitties for initially recommending the M7/XL to me a ways back!!

I have the M7XL with the Halo tip and standard cap. Using the Wand and the Flare and restricted draw with condenser adjustment. It hits better than any of my Dynavaps and Simrells excepting his new offering which I am testing. I got M7XL on a video tip from Lee at TTB. I normally have adjustable condensers set for max airflow but choking it down and leaving the air port alone works very well. Very good performance and value!

Yeah stock butane, I haven't refilled it yet. Does the lithium just tend to burn out quickly? I assume when Dynavapping we're keeping them lit longer than most other applications these would be used for. I don't really care about the colored flame anyway, just thought it was interesting.

Oh I forgot to mention that hah. Yes I believe the "soft" written on the lighter is referring to its rubberized texture.

I'm loving the G3. I've been using mine with a standard or a low temp captive cap depending on what I'm feeling. Haven't tried the Armored cap yet. I did try the BallR once and it worked well, but I may end up preferring the metal bowls for that one. I'll try the Armored Cap on it today in a bit and see what it's like.
