That's curly Mango, it is much more stunning in reality, it shimmers a bit when reflecting light.

As someone who has a several firewoods, a P80, SplinterZ, and a TM Purple Heart I would say you don't NEED a P80. The tetra heater in the P80 is pretty darn good, BUT I find the TM to be way more versatile. TM is easier to low temp and TM is much harder to combust accidentally when you're high temping. The P80 still runs of a mod box and the heater does change resistance over time, at least enough that I have to fidget with the settings every now and then. Overall there's really not much the P80 can do that the PH TM can't do more consistently. BTW I've never had a TM before getting the PH so I can't comment on previous versions.

I most of the time use the TP80 upside down with a basket load and the TP80 is so consistent and reliable with that setup that for me it sits at the top of regulated convection portables. Nearly no draw restriction and never burned a load even going to the edge. If you rip it while in warmup to cruise mode you hit it at 260C so that's a different story, but that's fun to do as well. I like that the TP80 uses a mod inside, the airpath is never compromised and it's repairable (by the maker).

Also the battery life is lackluster single the P80 is a single battery mod.

Ah yes the battery life it terrible for the P80. Those 4 little heaters pull the juice. Wouldn't by so bad the but the Mod on mine, my P80 unit battery door doesn't really close easily anymore. Something may be bent or chipped a bit, but changing the battery is always an adventure for me. I often carefully charge with micro-usb so as not to open the battery door. And I know micro-usb connectors usually wear out/break eventually. Having said that, my TM with usb-c doesn't really click securely so charging either of them is not my fave. But i usually just charge the TM externally since I trust it's battery door will work for multiple thousands of charges
