i have only just received mine, but so far i am really liking it. i got it for the same reason you seem to be interested in it - a good small vape for mobility. i am still waiting on my metal oven so can only speak for the performance with the glass chamber, but this already works pretty well with the dosing capsules. the capsules mute the taste noticeably, but that is to be expected. vapor is really smooth, though it does seem to require long draws, which may be a (convection-) battery vape thing, it has been a while since i used one. i have no idea how this would compare to the solo 3, but i am pleased this one feels quite different to my other regulars (vapman, vaphit, woodscents), it has an intersing signature and hits quite a bit harder than i anticipated.
overall i think this is excellent value. for my use case, dosing capsules on the go, it works just how i wanted it to. i am a lightweight, and can stretch a dosing capsule easily over many hours. i do use session mode as on demand, as i think the button placement is a bit weird for the intended on demand use. but if the battery is fresh it heats up really quickly to temperature, so i dont think it really makes a difference.
