Hello! My T2 is in <3 no tracking updates since it hit the US, then bam, hello!

Apologies if this is already in here, I searched and had no luck. What is the temperature differential when switching from the v1 wand adapter to the v2? For example, I ran my v1 around 520-550F. How much should i drop the temp with the new wand adapter? I have my v1 set up as a microdoser and want to get it working again.
~90F less or 40-50C on the V2 compared to V1 glass adapter

490 honestly maybe lower if microdose

@Brenyo Just wondering how long replaceable bits (eg screens or anything in the head, such as VI or discs) will be available for Tempests going into the future? Ditto with v1 tempest? Thanks..

Brenyo said spare parts should be available for few years more at least.

BushRanger,
Still waiting for mine over here, but I was wondering what sort of grind y’all run in your tempests?

Does it perform ok with shake, or does it need a more medium grind situation? Or can you chunk a whole nug in there like you can with some vapes? Lmk how to prepare!

Medium to course. It's almost pure Convection. So you don't want to mess the airflow up with too fine a grind. Not sure about whole nug. I will have to experiment. My instinct says ground will give better results.

Can anyone confirm that the v2 doesn't work with the Flare? I know the v1 has issues but I thought the v2 with its upgraded induction sleeve would work.
I have the original flare and it only registers at 65w resulting in a mediocre session and a reheat being required. It’s a bummer because I had decent results with the V1. Seems I got a lucky v1 flare that will not croak.

I prefer coarse from my BCG in mine.

Really been enjoying the v2 so far. It had the vapor production the original lacked and actually allows a true joint like session. The cool down clicks are slowly seeming to speed up with break in. I’ve been running mine around 500 normally with the new wand insert.

I agree course is likely better. FWIW though I had some already ground relatively fine when mine arrived and it still worked wonders!

My T2 just arrived yesterday! I am truly blown away!!! This is an unreal device :clap:

I got the T1 and while I liked it I could never really dial it in. Ended up going back to my dynas as my consistent and would only occasionally use the T1. The T2 pre-order email popped up and I couldn’t help myself though and I’m so glad I grabbed it.

First cycle with this thing and just WOW! So much vapor I had to question my reality, did I combust I thought? Nope, just flavor packed, surprisingly cool vapor billowing everywhere. I had found my happy place.

I used the balls that came in the device and the ispire wand with the new adapter. It almost felt too easy haha. I am excited to dive into the nuances now. Ruby balls, tweak the heat up, maybe dust off the old torch!

Judging from the pics I was worried I wouldn’t like the look of the T2 vs the sleeker T1 but when you see this in person it’s so awesome. I think I like it slightly better actually! It inspired my user name, it does really give lightsaber vibes! The slightly simpler internals are appreciated too.

I honestly don’t think I’ve felt this way about a dry herb vape since I got my very first dyna, and I definitely haven’t felt this way from a session in awhile, this thing plowed right through my tolerance (not even on the full bowl setting either)! Hope this isn’t too long a post but I’m so excited about the T2 I wanted to share! 10/10 no notes lol

How can I open the tempest v2 head to change the balls/ for cleaning? I think I know where it opens but it doesnt really move and I dont want to use too much force.

you can see that on page 374 of the manual this thread :)
It just rotates about 45 degrees anti-clockwise.
The screen has 3 “ears”. Check if all of them are in the groove or not, because if one isn’t, that could make it very hard to unlock it. If it looks good, then one of the balls are in the way, try to shake it away or try it with a little more force.

Looks like lacentralevapeur has the Ti Tempest to preorder now, pretty significant upcharge though 😩
So looks like they just upped the price and it is out of stock. Honestly, that’s kind of messed up that they bought up limited pre order stock and are price gouging now.

Edit: The price is absolutely sky rocketing as I continue to check this, unless I’m going crazy. Nearly 275 euro now, from like 230 earlier

I think you are mistaken.
The price of €239 is without vat (or equivalent). I saw that price and it clearly stated that it thought I was outside the EU. It now is priced at €273.90 as an EU resident.

And besides, why/how could they charge €230 which is less than the early adopters paid (€249). It doesn't make sense.
So I don't think lcv has 'bought up stock and are now price gouging'.

If you are outside of the EU, as a USA resident, you won't have to pay vat. Whether they have any stock is a different matter.

Anyone kinda disappointed about the price of the v1 upgrade pack? Don't want to sound entitled, but considering the v1 has not even been out for a year I would have expected the upgrade pack to not be the exact same price of the normal components used.

Where are you seeing that? Just had a look on the UK site and couldn't see the upgrade pack. But I did just order a wooden sleeve!
