These may not be the final colors. Please let me know your thoughts!
I've created a poll, and I'd greatly appreciate it if you could vote which one is your favorite. Your input will help a lot!

I really really want a green heatshield, looks cool.

I don't think there is any way for @Brenyo to make a titanium reload that I could afford. And due to the minimum lot size that Brenyo would have to order I think it would be very unlikely he could anticipate enough sales.

i would jump on a ti reload. price matters of course, but a piece of gear like that could become my main herb / abv set up at home as well as out and i can justify gear investments that will be used daily for a decade. At that point small conveniences add up, like maybe 1/4 turn to open, magnets, etc. Oooh, or magnetic closure with a 1/4 turn to lock for travel :D

Maybe this has been asked before but I'm wondering why the release heat shields won't be made of titanium. It looks much better imo. I always prefer the "raw" metal look when I buy stuff but the aluminium shield looks off in contrast to me.

@Brenyo : I must be weird and different than everyone else cause I'm sorry to say but I hate 'em tbh. And I've been dying to get my hands on a V2. I like the look of the V2 better, but I personally loved the green and blue from V1. I can't do these colors. Especially the green, which is leading in the poll, lol.

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
Is there a picture of disassembled tempest 2?
I am interested in comparing vaporpath cooling with revolve 2 or tempest 1 stem
i am sensible to heat, so if tempest 2 stem is less cooling than tempest 1 i rather buy just the head
i do not care if the spiral path steal some vapor, I care for cool vapor more than everything

Not a fan of the colors either, happy to have pulled the fast trigger on the full Ti V2.
Black would be my choice otherwise I believe... but the color combination with the titanium just pokes me in the eyes, I dunno...

I'll take any colour you like, as long as it's black! 😎

@Andreaerdna - yes, there's a posting from @HaggisHunter with some before and after piccies of the T2 broken down, from his anodizing session.
The cooling path is different to the original T. though most seem quite happy with it. I've not had any problem using just native.
Remember the stem is also a WPA, so if glass is your thing, it works a treat.

I believe only really sensitive users will not get on with T2 cooling. It's not that the T2 lacks cooling. It cools very well. I can do a one hit DTL 0.15g bowl with it. It's just that T1 with Helix had more cooling than it needed imo.
EDIT- just putting it back together. I'm shocked at how clean it is. Some honey building on the spiral, but doesn't need cleaning yet.

Can't wait to receive my tempest v2 and make some wood sleeves for it! Curious if anybody knows if the skull kandy inserts fit the v2 head and if so how they work. I use my tempest wand combo on the go quite a bit. Also curious how the click calibrations are on the v2 vs v1. My v1 caps definitely click a little early.

I'm finding the click calibration similar to V1. My preferred roast is 3-4 seconds beyond it.

I think this is intentional. You can't force everyone to go for a dark roast. Lots of people go lighter. I think it is well calibrated to click at the beggining of the range that most users will go for.

Did you try it without the spiral cooler? is it usable without glass and without the SCU?

I have not used it without the spiral. That would just be a straight tube. I see no reason for that. It does come with a shorter spiral. I intend to experiment with it.

I use it without glass all the time. I can do a single hit DTL on 0.15g bowl. That's a monster hit for a stem.

When I have it full bowl I use it in joint mode, where I'm taking small to medium lungfulls. I could do the full bowl in a single hit through the stem, but it would be uncomfortable enough to not want to do it often.

Similar, but there should be no more 10+ minutes cool down click.

There will be a CU with more turns if you need more cooling at release.

@Brenyo what is the alloy of the induction sleeve/indicator housing?

Shipping to Germany hasnt started yet, right?
From the EU shipping should start today or tomorrow. From the UK, EU orders below #10200 have already shipped, I’m waiting for more stock.

will the rest of the device also be colored in the final version or just the heatshield?
Just the heatshield

Will the new head + bowl be available in different colors too? I love the V1 blue head and mostly use it with the bonger so I'd lose out on colors 😥
No, there won’t be a blue like that this time :(

Further to the cooling and cleaning discussion.

Cleaned my Ti when arrived, iso soak , pipe cleaners, buds, brushes etc = 7/5/25
Opened to see how sticky last week, it wasn't , a few bits wiped off - approx 9/5/25

Cleaned fully today 14/5/25 - the spiral was slightly sticky but nowhere near the honey reclaimed from V1, some bits throughout not too many, I'm using a slightly coarser mill so that may improve.

I use the Ti all day 7 dpw, full bowl setting, head open, wee hole open but closed and feathered with a pinkie. As dark as possible for me, I need everything in there 8) Mostly naked but sometimes through glass. A guess at how many bowls pd? Approx uhm - 8 - 12.

It's the only device in use just now the WOHW has not been turned on since Ti arrived, I intend to but wanted to test if it could be the sole device. It can!

Cooling, some good points in this thread. I think it moves air and vapour through rapidly, heat is conducted away from fingers rapidly owing to the shield.. but still has an enormous reservoir of heat in use. Hence there is less time for condensation, the V1 was labyrinthine in comparison if set that way, therefore slower vapour movement. imho ofc.

Loving this thing

Your EU-Shop seems to have a different view on that :D in reply to my wish to delay my shipment they told me: "The shipment is arriving at our warehouse this week, and dispatching should begin next week.". Maybe they just forgot to update their standart-answer from last week tho ...
