Yeah i also think it looks rough and not sure the wand will even be level with it anymore.
Brenyo told us tough it will get much better heat transfer so the performance should be much better.

But man the Tempest v2 looks beautiful and the performance looks just insane even with CBD.
Hope we get some more video in action soon and EU shipping as well!! :brow:

I do wonder how it would lead to a better heat transfer. Afaik the glass doesnt block the heat transfer currently, does it?

It does from what i've gathered you loose a lot of heat to it.
You can try the silicon piece that came with the wand but not sure it fits the tempest.

I've only had time to clean it, but this thing is stunning. A couple of observations, the cap screw thread feels really nice. Twists on and off with a quick turn

I ran a quick heat cycle with an empty bowl, and it stayed hot for a long time.

I can't wait to test it later

Mines has been out all day....

Just got back from a week long hiking trip. My Tempest 2 has been delivered to a neighbour! I think they have gone out shopping. I'm just sat peering through my blinds waiting.

I'll let you guys know when it gets here and I can take it for a spin.

It's not the filament, but an issue with the odd shape of the design and lack of some slicer features. Happy to improve it if someone has a better idea for the shape / design. The adapter is not really visible on the desk, it's below the wand and looks fine from the sides.

Will do! If the performance is better then that will definitely win over the v1. I mean Im kinda getting ahead of myself anyways. Im an southern American, I better worry about getting it at all before I rank them lol

On the Madheaters website it advises a cleaning before first use. I'm just going to clean with some q-tips and iso. I will submerge the cap for a few mins then rinse. Should be good to go after that.

Non-US orders started shipping just recently. I assume those with them in hand are all UK residents, where Mad Heaters is located.

Just dialing it in before I post vids. I'll also follow up with a detailed write up like last time, after I really get to know it.

I just had my first bowl however. So can give my first impression. The device came in half bowl config. I changed it to full bowl for the first use. I heated in the wand until a couple of seconds past the first click (I'm not sure there is a second click yet). I also didn't check my VI as I was so excited to hit it and forgot. I'll be dialing all that in anyway.

Huge bowl. The stem cools it perfectly. Stacks of airflow. Lovely roast. I haven't dialed in my draw speed yet, so I have no idea if I got it perfect, however the cloud size and the avb suggest it worked very well. It still has that Tempest 1 trait of tasting great even when going for a darker roast.

I feel like I'm going to have a lot to say about this thing.

Thank you... yeah, I understand what others are saying now.. it looks janky. But as a *free* (nothing's free) addition to support a 3rd party accessory vs the HOT v1 version, I'm not upset

Arrived today, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Will try it out tomorrow once it's seen some alterations to help it blend in with the rest of the gang.
So far, the look is still growing on me, but the feel in the hand is really comfortable, the best yet.
On the lips it feels comfortable and the weight there is good too.
I'm really looking forward to trying this out.
