Hey, do you use the original coil screw in Flare?
I have ordered custom one from piggie, that is taller than original.
Meanwhile I tried inserting coil screw from Yll IH on top of the screw from Flare, and like the results a lot more now when the TA4 head is higher while heating.
I use the flare one. I have piggys also just never needed it.

@Fearless Disaster can recommend that leather pocket for stand...very handy. :)

It's amazing how this thing shreds thru some old-school hash...40 mesh screen in bowl, thin layer of hemp fibre, a good sprinkle of hash bites, Tempest bowl screen on top to seal it. (think screens are same, 40 one and from Tempest)
Changing top screen with every bowl.

How do you enjoy the @Aezhenn stem with the TA?

Does Mr piggie have an e-store? I’m very interested in a ribbed wooden wpa that I’ve seen on the awesome cfh videos.

Loving the ta3 with an hmk millie - thanks to this board for guiding me so well even before I started posting
This would be his e-store for US customers

That was a long session !
Are you using the boro glass beads or something else?
Ive just got the TA3, Im loving it, never combusted yet now im wondering about the ruby beads...may it keep more heat = longer sesh...somebody knows?
Cool video mate!

I'm still running the boro balls in my TA3. With a pipita torch (beefier flame than the Firefox) and heating straight with the core of the flame it cherry in about 20 seconds.

I sometimes feel that I need a second, shorter heat up to get a more complete extraction, but HR wise that's mostly strain dependent.

Would switching to a denser thermal matrix (corundum or zirconia) help with that ?
I have the airflow disc half open and a straight boro stem with absolutely no restriction if that matters.
Or maybe should I pull harder ?

@Clapped_r6 still trying different configurations, in the last video I had too low depth for my liking, so I'm now at screw being flush with wheel or few threads up. 5400-5600J@90-95%, TA4 filled with zirc.

I stuffed my ta4 with rubies the size of tangerines Mr Wayne …

it does keep heat for a while (and takes over a min to heat in the flare), but I also feel like I’ve extracted a whole lot earlier than that heat is needed and the flavor can almost be overwhelmed with hot air.

Still tinkering!

Thank you mate. That sounds exactly what Im aiming for but I will wait for the TA4 be back to the market and then I will get the rubies with it.
I like to vape with the TA as a joint so most of the time MTL with very short air flow, my idea is give short hits but with dense smoke(cause its really hot) really close to combust but If I recognize that started burn the top of the bowl I just close all air few seconds and then keep vaping huge clouds.

Also big Thanks to @ScruffyWoofers,
amazing stem, at the begining felt bit long but the trade off with the heat sink it made it worth and also feels like a cigar on the hand with great balance of weight in the middle.
