My screen in the head Fell out days After cleaning😩. Fortunately i used Steel balls and the collecting with a magnet was a breeze. But now im always afraid the screen will Fell off After using....and im really care fully Like handling a raw egg. And thats really annoying given the state you are in...Any ideas how to check its really tightened?

Nice Greets!

If you flatten the screen adn then you screw it to the end, in theory, it shouldn´t have any problem. Another method is to use two screens  nojoking

Make sure that you don’t fill too many balls into the head, it must be below the threading. If you can’t screw it down fully and it stops on one of the balls, it might undo itself. After the screen is fully screwed in, shake the head, and if the balls still rattle, you’re good to go

Couldn't find a Revolve specific thread so I'll ask here. I cleaned my Revolve and took out the secondary cooling spiral in the mouthtip, and now when I put it in it just falls right out. What the heck am I doing wrong, it has to "lock" into place somehow, no?? Thanks.
The MH website details this and has a good Revolve manual.
I believe there are positions for up to two o-rings, one to hold the spiral in place if you use one, and one to prevent the mouthpiece from rotating should you want that.

1. Why doesn't it escalate here?
2. And where is the buy button for tempest 2? @Brenyo

Please give us information :)
And so the anticipation starts all over again 🤣
@Brenyo did your inbox ever calm down? 🤣

Of you haven't seen it, he mentioned a few pages back the head will be slightly wider now as it's a bigger bowl.
I used to use half bowls more, now I'm about 50/50 and have a full and half bowl on the tray all the time.
I'm still looking forward to the bigger bowl 🥣

If the screen is properly installed it is very secure, and can be trusted. I think a visual clue for me it's installed correctly is one of the spokes bend inwards

I have been enjoying my tempest at half bowl for a while now, but I really did notice a step up in consumption - from 0.5g per day with a Revolve gen 2 and a gold fmj... to 1g per day with the Tempest half bowl...

Idk why it took me so long to try a third bowl setting, with the mesh somewhere above the holes... Im saving so much bud and down to 0.5g a day or so like before without any cutting down feelings... Halved my intake and I'm still getting high!

Each bowl is 0.04g or so, and I'm not really hitting it more than before, it has surprised me.

I can also hit these size bowls in one go, I didn't ever find a half bowl setting that did one hits all that well for me.

Really what I'm trying to say is those second hits from the half bowl didn't seem to be doing much for me but costing money - so If that is you too then maybe give it a try.

The lack of a notch in the bowl for the screen isn't an issue like I thought it might be, it stays in place nicely with the mad heaters screens.

Sweet spot for me = located :science::borg:

I did say I was high! Microdose machine!

Tempest 2 is just a new batch of the original Tempest, right?

Is that really obvious? Is that why it hasn't been discussed?

It’s going to have a completely new stem and a more refined head with a cheaper price tag, addressing most of the issues the v1 had.

I plan to announce it when production is ready for the first (early-access) batch, hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks. Similar to last time, there will be a limited quantity available before the full release, preferably for customers who already own a Tempest, in case there are any unexpected issues.

This first limited batch will have the most expensive, titanium heatshield which might not be available later as the price difference is significant. A cheaper version will be available at release in June with an aluminium heatshield or wood sleeve.

Are there any IHs on the horizon that are likely to accommodate the bigger head or are looking at a Wand only device?
The compatibility is the same as before. If all goes well, a new IH is coming that will also be compatible.

A new adapter/stand will be available for the wand, which noticeably improves performance.

Will the XL be also offered in this initial batch? In that case, we will have two versions to pick from, standard and XL?

Will there be big discounts for owners of a Tempest - or even better the opportunity for a trade-in? I like the bigger bowl and a more streamlined stem (with less parts hopefully) but not sure if this would be reason enough to buy one.

Quoted from a reddit post from Brenyo : ''There will be a kit for the V1 heads to add some of the upgrades from the V2. Bigger bowl, better heat retention and distribution, new screens, and improved performance. Much easier to use with a torch.''

I usually don’t offer big discounts, especially right away, as it’s unfair to my wholesale partners. In my opinion, most future buyers of the V2 already own a V1, so I’d have to increase the base price to others to justify a significant discount. I’ve also had many issues with discounts applied to too many customers as often they forget to use them at checkout, resulting in extra work and additional costs for the refund process. This is still a 1 man business, and it creates unnecessary chaos during pre-orders.

A trade-in program would be ten times more complicated, so I’m definitely not doing that. :D In my opinion, it’s much easier to sell locally, you’d likely get more for it that way anyway.

With the price of the release model, it will feel like you’re getting it at a good discount anyway, in my opinion. ;)

Will the prerelease drops be for both the complete device and the v1 upgrade kits? Will the kits need testing?

i have high hopes i get access to a full Ti one in the early batch, as im here troubleshooting 300pages too.
but i bet many other V1 lovers outside of the forum would be just as sad if they cant get the full Ti V2device.
maybe offer the ti heatshield as a extra item to buy?

The V1 is feature complete. It's not going to lose it's functional value, or even financial value, as there will be plenty of people willing to buy a V1, especially if they are no longer made in the future. Some people will just prefer the smaller bowl size, or the stem aesthetics.

So considering all this, I personnaly don't see any moral argument for a need for MadHeaters to offer financial compensation in any form. After all it's not a quick fire incremental upgrade. It's a fully fledged new design.
