I use mine upside down all the time. Are you using the WPA that comes with the black rubbery part to hold it to the top?

If you want a whole bunch of general vaping with a whip info, including where to get it, there is this thread: https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/whip-tubing-all-your-questions-answered.3311/

If I knew a more specific answer, I'd give it to you. I use a whip with the Pockety, but bought it from them at the same time I ordered the Pockety. I use the Roffu with the WPA directly in a water piece, upside down without issues.

Are you using the included die cut (or laser cut?) screen. I cut a regular stainless steel mesh screen to fit into the grommet that the original screen came with. So possibly that could be the difference.

im using the original screen and have the official wpa, i also just would like to use a whip with my roffu! i dont know what causes the issue ive experimented with dosing caps,no dosing caps screenless with screen etc it works great in general but mine just gets clogged sometimes when upsidendown.

If you ever decide you want more airflow, consider using a mesh screen. It's much more open.

I would think you could get a tube that would fit directly onto the glass of the WPA, and a glass end that will fit onto your bubbler to go on the other end of the tube. I don't know if amazon would carry that stuff though. Aliexpress does, if you can't find it elsewhere.

Hopefully someone who has done it already will step in and offer more advice. Otherwise, I'd just measure the outside of the WPA, and find a tube that is slightly smaller than that so it can stretch over it and hold on.

im sure it exists i wrote this thread because i tried and failed to find the information needed

Does anyone know where to source a 10/14mm female connector for use with a whip?

BIG EDIT!! I HAVE READ MORE AND AM REPHRASING MY QUESTION. BELOW IS FOR CONTEXT:
hi all sorry if this post isnt great its my first time using a forum.
i was hoping for help getting a setup similar to what many use with their airizer and crafty vapes with my roffu as it does have some issues drawing vapor upside down in a globe style bubbler. questions i have are

1. should i seek out tubing with a 10mm ID or a 14mm ID
2. where to find this type of tubing on amazon
3. where to find the tools nessecary to attach the whip to my bubbler, and to use a 2nd whip as a mouthpiece.
https://www.planetofthevapes.com/products/single-whip-adapter?variant=32029058105415 Update I found it

I wanted to post my feedback on the Ruffo after using it about 10 times over the last 2 or 3 weeks:

Pros:
Definitely a more consistent experience at lower temps (say 362 degrees) than I have had with other vapes.
Cleaning is much easier than other vapes I have had.

Cons:
Weed gets pulled into the metal screen in the filter. It would be even easier to clean if not for this.
The gasket of the filter seems a little tricky to put back in once cleaned.

My main concern, other than the small capacity of the glass chamber is the screen getting clogged each session.
The glass chamber is easy to clean and could go a few sessions without an alcohol wipe but the screen needs cleaning each time.

Any advise on bettering my experience?

Cut a SS mesh screen to the same size as the included screen. Much better airflow, and you shouldn't have to clean it nearly as often.

You should get used to putting the gasket back after a while. Also, you won't have to remove it every time once you use the mesh screen replacement.

I almost never use ISO to clean the glass chamber. I just make a little rolled up paper towel "log" to wipe the glass once every week or so, just after a session while it's still warm. Everything comes out totally clean if you do it often enough.

I use dosing capsules 100% of the time, the metal chamber, with the WPA (as a mouthpiece). I’ve removed the screen from the gasket — but still use the gasket to keep the capsules in place.

Becomes a VERY easy device to keep clean. But using capsules will reduce capacity slightly.

Thanks for the recommendations! I think I may try out the metal pods and also cut a screen and see how each performs.
Question on the WPA... can you just draw directly from it? Similar to the Argo vape?

Yes. You can (and I do) use the glass tube directly over the gasket and the chamber.

I've been using a glass tube with a rimmed screen, and treating the body of the Roffu like a car lighter. Just hold it against the end of the rimmed screen while breathing in. Works with a Solo stem as well. Though I still sometimes use the official wpa as well.

I much prefer using the WPA as a mouthpiece. I like the more natural round shape (vs the duckbill), and that I can hold the device in any orientation. The WPA can be configured two ways — so that the glass is directly over the chamber, or offset (which gives a bit of adjustment of airflow as glass is adjusted up/down).

Another easy option (but not as cheap as cutting your own) is to swap the disc filter with DDave Dynavap screen, I use his Ti version that seems to stay cleaner longer compared to others,
How to use the OEM WPA in a couple of ways,
And another WPA idea, this is my main way to use the Roffu on a j-hook when at home,

I just received a new recycler and found it works well with my Roffu and due to the design of the RBR3.0 I can fill it quite full and the restriction matches well with the Roffu.
This video has a really light pack (sprinkle filled for 2-3 puffs) in the glass bowl with a 14mm to 14mm male glass adapter inserted in the OEM WPA replacing the glass mouthpiece part...this puts the adapter glass directly above the oven grommet and opens up the airflow a bit.

I have been looking for a decent j-hook to mate with my Roffu since breaking my old favourite. There are so many variants available but none were the same as my OG...until now!
The following is available in 14 or 18mm and is a bit larger than all the others I have tried (which is good for me) but the main thing I like is the circular mouthpiece. Most I have tried were too small and/or had a pinched mouthpiece that just never felt right.
Here is the one(s) I got, nice and cheap,

My glass chamber finally bit the dust,
And im in a 3rd world country... without quick access to a replacement

Can i use a clear silicone, from s and b i think, as the chamber?
Im testing now to see if it melts or omitts vapor/smoke,

I have been using this type of 'tube' fo a while in the stock mouthpiece, with the grommet and top mouth piece removed, i would squeeze it in the hole and it would act as the grommet then i could attach any glass or stem i wanted, so the tube always touched the top part of the hot glass chamber and hot metal capsules and I never had a problem.

As I'm writing this the tube is attached to the oven/heater, it was a little dirty, so idk, at first it omitted a very little steam/smoke, but nothing now(it couldve been from the resin/dirt or maybe that happens at first contact with oven?)

Maybe i can make a chamber from thick tinfoil?
Or maybe some other ideas? Maybe some type of craftsman in town or country on line can make so wood/metal/glass chamber?
I wouldnt even know where to start to look...

Thanks

*On a different note i have been packing the capsules tight and/or finely ground and find it makes the vapor thicker and vape so much more enjoyable/satisfying for me usually at 210 220c,(plus the glass stem helps to stay cool for the longer sessions)

I tested a home made tube out of tightly rolled up plain paper (no printing on it). It worked, but depending on the paper, it may not stand up too long to the heat. So you may have to make a new one from time to time. I would consider it a temporary solution until you can get the metal or glass chamber replacement. I think you would like the metal better than glass for the way you are using the Roffu.

That's what HI suggests for their log devices. Use plain white copy paper trimmed for bowl height and two wraps length. Works quite well, tbh.

Nice! Thank God and Thanks pukka and 2tiki, thanks FC(and alan at hi, side psa i spoke with him a little while ago and hes hoping to make a batch of bamboo logs)

Instant result! From constant fear of this glass breaking to ok just gotta cut some paper!

Yeah i hope i will get a metal chamber , i was gifted the roffu basic with 3 caps, and wanted for a while a wpa and more caps, and a case..

But i want a few vapes for a long time already, especially a bowle 2 not cheap, and ive been checking classifieds and discord entexchange lately and can get an avlp or angus or etc meaning a whole new vape for the same price as the very well low priced few accessories i want for the roffu...

Lets see how long and well this paper can procrastinate some purchase
(I have a mighty and 2 more vapes so not dire...)

2nd cap, Just tried a stuffed tightish whole bud in a cap,( i dont think ive tried a full bud-Packed)
very nice flavor

Thanks!

If you can get your hands on some 303/304/316 stainless tube with thin wall, you should be able to make your own metal replacement fairly easily (with a ruler, hack saw, and metal file/sandpaper). I no longer have my roffu or I'd get exact measurements for you. It's probably something like 13mm or 14mm OD, 11mm ID, and 20mm length.

If you ever get a tube of 5x capsules, that tube holder is the exact fit for the Roffu heater.
I'd get exact measurements for you
OD=11.94mm, ID=11.15mm, L=23.54mm, wall thickness=0.44mm....the measurements were done with my digital multimeter on an old slightly mangled metal oven.
That said, the paper rolled into a tube is an old trick that works great, some will use the paper oven method for more vapes than just the Roffu.
