Puffco Peak Pro

Anyone try out the new Heat Intensity Mode with the newest (AC) update? 5 clicks while heating up should display a rainbow. Not sure what happens, but apparently supposed to pump out more vape. And a bunch of people had theirs bricked because of the update. No issues here, and the rainbow mode works. I continue to absolutely love my Peak Pro Guardian!

EDIT: Can confirm this shit chucks clouds and flavour is incredible! It basically hits like a ruby now! Zero pearls required.

Roger said they didn't include this mode at first because they thought it would be too much for the average user, but they wanted to have it for the true dabber. It's legit and the Pro w/3d just shot up another level!

Anyone have any affordable glass suggestions? I'm thinking under $40-50 and was looking at Sneaky Pete's pieces:



Would these be ok to get started? There are too many pieces I need to pickup for my Proxy before I dive in deeper with Peak glass!

I have the Bent-Neck and love it, pull is nice if you don’t put too much water in and can hold quite a bit of water. I use a 4.5” glass stem in the mp. Never tried the recycler version.

It looks like you can't the Android app in many countries. At least that's what a quick Google search is telling me. That is very odd, especially considering the popularity of Puffco.

My only issue with the app right now is that it doesn't reconnect automatically. I have to quit the app and reopen whenever I've been either, out of range for 10 minutes or more, or if I stay in range but don't have the app on my screen for 10 or more minutes. I've gotten in the habit of closing the app when I walk away and then I'm usually ok. Every once in a while I have to turn my phone's bluetooth off and on in addition to quiting the app. I've been talking with Puffco about it, but so far no luck finding a fix. This is with my Canadian S22 Ultra.

I am really enjoying the Guardian otherwise. The ready mode feature with the dock is awesome. It's a pricey setup but it's just so damn convenient (and safe). My dock is setup to only charge the device to 80% so I have no qualms of the device sitting on it all the time. I do usually leave it off for a few hits and then it always goes back before the evening ends.

I did fuck up one night and smashed my glass already . Puffco helped me out and so, for a good price, I have a replacement in the works. They don't typically sell replacements for the limited editions is what I was told. Thankfully I have the travel glass in the meantime. I know I'll end up with something aftermarket at some point as well.

I've been hitting my Guardian without any water for the past couple of days at 505f, and this has been an absolutely incredible experience! This is my new GOAT vape!

From the Arizer V-Tower in 2006 to the Puffco Peak Pro Guardian in 2023... what a ride it's been, and I feel like it's just really getting started!

One month and 520 dabs later (on the counter anyways)....

The only thing i've changed is increasing the quality of my dabs, and decreasing the temps!

The Vapor Intensity Mode is sometimes just "too much" and I don't use it all the time, or with hash rosin unless it's super low temp.

Maintenance is such a breeze! GVOAT!

I slowly worked my temps down. I run now 455-465-475-485 2 minute session w/1 minute 5* boost works for me and pretty large dabs with very minimal reclaim left depending on the type of concentrate. 2 beads of different sizes /material 6-5, 6-4, 5-4, 5-3mm sic/ruby/crystal, OG cap with 2nd slanted air vent slot cut.

Looks like the Peak Pro is getting an update.

Of course it is because they knew I just bought a LE a month ago! The only benefits I see so far are a slightly better battery for quicker heat ups and more dabs, and that new joystick cap which I can't see being that different from the ballcap. Supposed to have more airflow, but that's the last thing I want. The glass looks dope too.

It's nice that the Peak Pro that's available now is exactly what should be with the 3d and ballcap included. Oh, and an extra year of warranty is nice.

How about the NEW VAPOR CONTROL UPDATE!? OMFG!!! I'm experiencing a completely NEW device now! HELLO FLAVOUR COUNTRY!!!

I admit, i've been a bit scared to try MAX yet!

I think it is a game changer! And I love the new Peak Pro! Surprised they went with a metal ballcap though.

Sure mine is over year old and it’s just like new. Need to treat it good, no ISO until cooled off to protect the glaze from thermal shock. Some have had problems with chazzing from pearls, but I never had that problem on the OG or 3D chambers.

I bought a Pro quite some time ago and it was my least used rig due to severe lack of performance.
All the FanBoys out there tooting it to be the BEST when it hardly produced any vapor!
After questioning a few "Pro's" I was told to inhale slower... I was already at little bubbles with a baby inhale and still everything else blew it out of the water with ease!

Now this new update... HOLY MOLY!!!
Still a few things they need to look into but it is finally pumping out vapor!
I would like the temp to be lower or more accurate, find it works best at 570F with amazing flavor and so many clouds!
Also updated the ball cap and glass through zeevapor!

It is now one of my most used e-rig!
Still love the Carta V2 and my Switch!

Must have been a faulty unit as I never had any trouble getting monster clouds...glad you are finally enjoying the experience.

Not sure.... I asked for lots of help and it was all to inhale slower, you want the bubbles to go very slow...
This did not work for me and I love lower temps.
If I crank the temp up it worked but the dabs did not taste right.

Now with the new software it seems to work so much better...

Maybe there is a running in period for the 3D atty? Only have about 180 dabs on it and it's about a year old.

I only used the OG Peak Pro atty and the Ruby and SiC 5D() atties from JCVape, the no floor heating on the Puffco 3D may not help with the lower temps with cloud production (I like lower myself)

It is absolutely incredible at lower temps. You can chuck clouds of tasty hash rosin in the upper 400's easy. I think @lazylathe atomizer is either the v1 before the revision or is not working 100%. I'm experiencing this with my new peak pro and have filed a warranty claim. My previous Guardian absolutely shredded in comparison.

They did some kinda revision, and the one with the red ring is the older one.

I just had success I think with pulling the pins out a touch and then reseating the chamber. I seem to be back in business, but who knows lol

Might be worth trying to see if you can get more vape output. 570f is way up there, you should be getting monster clouds at 530 on max, especially if it's good hash rosin. I can get clouds even on blue (490) when everything is working the way it's supposed to lol

Strange... When I check on the Puffco website they only have the one with the red ring available..
I have not seen a total black version yet.

I do have a black silicone cover though from Puffco?

Think what you are seeing is the new silicone cover for the original 3D chamber that is included now.
Either a white silicone cover or a black one, both have grey around the bottom now.
Still the same atomizer though.
The changes were all cosmetic and the firmware update.

Ya that's what my Guardian LE was as well. Puffco does a lot of "silent revisions" so it's not an actual official update/release but I spend a lot of time on Reddit and perhaps it's bs but some people were saying that the OG 3d's don't hit as hard as the newer.

It almost reminds me of yesteryear's grasshopper's.... all of mine worked, but some just hit harder/worked better. I feel like your Peak is working like my new Peak right now.... they work, but not like they are supposed to. If I can't get the performance out of my new peak pro as my Guardian after dealing with Support, I will be moving on! Fortunately my Proxy is absolutely crushing!
