Finally bought the Tinymight 2, I've so far tested it in on-demand mode mainly, next will be to test it in session mode.
Already very impressed, loving the flavour at low temps and strong hits.

I already own the Mighty+ which has been my most used vape over the last year.
There's room for both of these great devices in my vape arsenal.:)

Yes I always recommend on demand so you can fully clear your hits, session mode is really just autofire holding the button down for you, I only use it for a one-hitter through water when I will turn it off and continue inhaling to fully clear... Also if anyone wants more water piece recommendations check out the cheap glass thread and other dry glass threads, start at most recent pages and skim backwards for some great recs!

To anyone looking for a new water piece to complement their TM2, I highly suggest this GRAV Upline clone off DHGate (or the real thing if you’re less patient). It has a fairly tight pull and milks up quick. Not to mention it’s the sturdiest piece of China glass I’ve ever seen.

Think I’m going to pick up that mini upline, looks awesome!

What do you use as a WPA?

I just picked up a Grav Helix to use, so I’m on the hunt for a short minimalistic 14mm WPA.

Alan@toasty-top.com has the best low profile available... Rogue wax works has options too, Good Vibes of course as well

I have a dititanium mouthpiece, but unfortunately find mine to be pretty lose :( maybe just need to hunt for different o-rings.

Idk how I missed the glass mouthpiece!

@SSnacks, I have a short 18mm from RWW and it’s great, was hoping short 14mm were readily available but I guess understandably niche. I’ll reach out to Alan though, see what he has!

Oh, Rogue makes 14 as well, but they go quick! Good Vibes hasn't posted them in a while either, but can make them in whatever way... Alan has them because the size fits one of his logs too, I really like his a lot, not sure how long it will take for him to cut and send one though? Good luck with the speed

I broke down and ordered a TM2. I’m reading/hearing that the stock mouthpiece is not so great and the cooling units get gunked up pretty quickly. Any recs for mouthpieces that will do a better job of cooling without busting my already broken wallet?

If you search this question is asked all the time, also there are separate glass threads and others for alternative aftermarket stems... There's a difference between a mouthpiece and a stem, the stem is the chamber as well... Because there are also mouthpieces that can go on top of stems... Good Vibes Boro still my favorite and just suggested another above! Welcome to FC Hope you enjoy your TM

Ah, I got mouthpiece and stem all mixed up. This is a whole new world to me. Thank you for the information!

Coolness is in the eyes of the beholder. More people feel the GVB and High artisan stems offer better cooling. I have a pretty GVB stem that I like to use, but I feel the cooling is only moderate. For the coolest setup, I'd recommend a wpa and use a large bubbler. You will lose a bit in the flavor dept but probably your coolest hits.

It will sound like a broken record for regulars here, but in providing options to new folks, I'll again recommend the OGB jhook setup. It is a dry setup, but the cooling is excellent. It is larger than just a stem, but smaller and tastier hits than a large bubbler. It is my primary setup for the TM2.

It requires a 18mm wpa, such as the RWW model which isn't expensive

and the OGB Jhook. I like the model with the sidecar left bend

OGB offers models with cooling spikes and no sidecar bend. It is felt that the 90 angle bend is what really cools the vapor and that the spikes aren't necessary. IDK the science behind it, but I'll tell you that the vapor doesn't just come out less warm. It comes out cold or cooler than the ambient air around you. It really is impressive.

A final word. I'm sure the 14mm size wpas work fine, but if you're in the Tinymight world because you want to blast some massive clouds, then don't restrict yourself by choosing an airpath with a narrower opening. I suggest to go all 18mm for the full unabated experience!

The sticky brick injector bowl glass post fits the tm with a super low 14mm profile. The ID is too small for rimmed baskets/CU but works with conical screens.

That's right! You are making very nice WPA and stems now as well...

Also yes 18 mm is better if you want the widest open airflow possible, a bit simpler...

OGB also makes 14 mm hooks, he can do whatever you like really, agreed that is maybe the best setup of all, a nice hook!

The cooling unit is not bad, but it does get gunked quick and it affects the flavour.

After almost two years using the TM OG I've settled in two solutions, one for home and another when outside, "on the road" (mostly lounges, restaurants and such in my case). None of them involve the cooling unit.

For home, the stems Tinymight calls extra long 3D cooling stem are good (both models), they give better flavour and good cooling. Big difference than with the normal cooling unit stems.

As others have suggested you can go more fancy with WPA attached to j-hooks, bubblers, bongs or many other types. Only downside is these glasses can get expensive quick, that's why I think the ones TinyMight sell are a good starting point. If you go the WPA route try going all glass with an all glass WPA adaptor, not even metallic basket, for great flavour.

For outside, I need it to be portable and, more importantly , discreet. For this reason I've settle on using the dosing capsules. They allow me to change the load everywhere without having to go outside/bathroom if I'm in a place where I can not be seen with herb, plus it is very convenient. It is true that they affect the flavour a bit, but that's the compromise. Get the ones with the plastic container for easy carrying.

For the stem, I combine the dosing capsules with a glass stem like this (no cooling unit):

These ones are from rogue, but others do similar ones, these are just examples. I have no affiliation with this shop.

With no cooling unit, the only metal part is the dosing capsules, which keeps the flavour quite nice, and the size keeps it portable and discreet enough, while still offering decent cooling. The spikes give enough cooling if you do not go heavy into 9-10 territory (when I'm in public I usually do not go above 5-6, unless I'm trying to give a last pass to used herb).

When outside it is all a compromise between portability, discretion, cooling and flavour. This solution is the most optimized compromise in all parameters that I've been able to think and test. I have even used it in posh restaurants without a problem. It is great.

A simple stem with the cooling unit is a decent starting point, but after you try any of these solutions I do not think you'll want to go back. Plus, I find both of them easier to clean than the cooling unit system. After spending a year cleaning the cooling units religiously, now they are in storage and never used.

Hope my experience helps. And any suggestion for improvement is welcomed.

I am delighted with the TM2, it is as close as possible to a classic bong in terms of smoke volume and power of the effect. The evaporation intensity is much higher than that of Mighty (I have Mighty +), then in Mighty you need to smoke continuously for 5-10 minutes, TM2 gives out for 3-4 hits!

I really love bongs so I only smoke with them and the TM2 is the best vaporizer for that! You can use an ordinary elastic band as in the photo as an adapter, or a tube with a bong adapter as in another photo: https://www.instagram.com/p/CrfhOa9ycOf/?igshid=MjljNjAzYmU=

But concentrates (kief and wax) I prefer to smoke through Mighty +. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Please share a detailed guide on how to smoke kif and wax through TM2?

I find I get better flavor, airflow, and some draw restriction from a disassembled cooling unit with boro balls between the parts in a stock stem than either my GVB or high artisan stems. Which I’m kind of disappointed and surprised by. Plus finding everything already sold on both sites moments after receiving a drop email is pretty irritating.

Interesting. Might have to try that. What size boro balls did you use?

wasn't a tm1.5 as well as a tm2 offered in the classifieds here, a few days ago?

Those have previously been registered. As @Zagala pointed out there would be no warranty for second-hand buyers.

14mm WPA from Tinymight:

Has anyone been in touch with Finland directly regarding the upgrade program since the code was reported to no longer be working?

I am using 6 mm balls, or just dosing capsules without covers (not pictured).
20230417-154113.jpg

Only one CU half is needed if you use a GRAV OctoTaster, so buy two. Use the glass screen end
as the mouthpiece end.
One could use only the CU halves with screens and open space between.
It is a bit too hot.
20230407-131236.jpg

From my previous Arizer Solo days, I use bottle blanks and alcohol to soak stems and parts.
They need to stand upright to soak most of the length of a long cooling stem.
The stem plugs make the finish rinsing easy.

Hey guys! New dude here. I'm wondering - are there any rimmed basket screens for the 3d Cooling stem that are deeper than the ones the cooling stem comes with? I can barely fit any herb in that one. I've switched it out with a regular coned screen, but it always moves around a bit in there and it's not ideal. I've found some on eBay, but they just seem to be the regular size.

@gangababa, you also take out the screens of the CU halves, make both hollow parts face each other and thus use that empty space to fill a bit more balls.
If not for more balls, it will allow you to shorten the distance between those 2 halves so the whole CU can be a bit further away from your lips (keeping the same bowl size en cooling you have now).
The only "downside" is that you'll need a mesh screen just before the CU (otherwise herbs can go throu the holes of the metal cylinder of the CU ):2c:

are there any rimmed basket screens for the 3d Cooling stem that are deeper than the ones the cooling stem comes with?
I don't think so. You may be able to use the deeper Arizer ones if you file/sand the rim though. But if your bowl is deeper than it's wide you'll probably get uneven extraction and will need to stir.

Here are the cooling stems i "created". The shortened Grav Upline Taster with half a CU filled with 4mm SS balls is probably the best short cooling stem on the market 😅 So confortable and it cools the vapor so well.
I broke a short stem but it lasted enough length to cut it cleanly and use it with the Ditanium mouthpiece and thus have one of the shortest 14mm WPA. 👌🤘
