Well I suppose it’s preferential but I like stuff that doesn’t take much effort to fire.
Some amount of chug can be cool though, the old Stone Glass Works Waffle tubes had a nice chug to them especially on the clear due to their long skinny necks.
A lot of times a high water level and a long skinny section takes a real crank to get going and start bubbling. Sometimes the drag isn’t so bad once it starts going though. Friend has a Zob like that, takes a real kick start to turn over but then it’s not too bad. But he much prefers a big beaker instead.
That’s a great way to describe it. Those with younger, stronger lungs, can overcome some of those limitations.
But as I’m no longer young,.... a Clint Eastwood quote: “ A mans got to know his limitations”.
In a relatively short amount of time, I bought a lot of different devices and learned how my lungs and pull time, effected how I used them. Then I complicated things by getting into different water rigs. Adding a longer airpath, going through water, of course effected my limited pull time of the actual vapor. Playing with whip vapes, like EQ, do the same. I played with one beautiful recycler, but I don’t have the lungs for those models unfortunately. I also bought and played with a bunch of different designs in mini and micro bubblers, and at least for me, I realized at some point, you are not getting much worthwhile cooling, though they are cute and fun.
As I’m sure some of the real old timers can attest, once you learn your limitations and what you really like, it gets easier to judge potential products without even buying them. Earlier in this thread I posted my latest C2 rig, did my homework, and it’s by far my favorite rig now, it gives me just the right amount of resistance that’s matched to my all devices and lungs. It’s super smooth, purrs like a kitten. It’s retired my last 2 year favorite, the simple 9” inverted shower head rig I bought from CH (New Vape then), and found out it was a TAG rig, likedit so much I bought a 2nd oneand put in storage, so two rigs were retired by the C2.
No regrets, the 4 month wait was worth it, as I’m reaching for this one over all the others regardless of size, as it gives the best VAPOR for me.
