I do think it's a minority view but I've always had terrific results leaving resistance unlocked on all my red panda mods with Splinter Zs and regular Splinters.
@virtualpurple send me a pm if that Z ever gives up the ghost and maybe I can sort you out.
Sorry for the slow reply. I haven't...
OAB in gorgeous Oriental Orange for $330 + shipping to CONUS only please. Works great and never had the ball on it except in use. I'm the original owner and kept the box for this heavy hitting vapor art.
I ordered two of the second quality TAG drop downs. One fits great with hardly any room to spare - like the bigger diameter and shape compared to my dhgate cheapies. The second second is a bit cockeyed and doesn't fit the Vertex plus it has a wobbly 18M joint.
Looks like the one and like @Shit Snacks said it might just fit
I'll use the butt plug on the top joint though: won't keep the Vertex an any cleaner the way it's shown in the photo
Edit: I'd rather find something like this with just one piece to keep track of but that right angle doesn't...
All I could find was this post saying the Genesis one is only 14mm:

How does one holler at Rick Barry I guess?
Good looking out, thanks. My bubblers are all 18F and the angle of that Tag isn't going to...
You mustn't mean the Cheap Bubbler thread because I looked through the last few pages and didn't see any drop downs. Where do I find this Genesis from yingmin? Thanks!
I'd like a drop-down for my Vertex to keep business end from getting dirty since it's hard to soak in iso. The ones I have don't fit around the modest girth of the can.
I see this one from VG but it's $75 and out of stock...
Does anyone have a link for rimless mesh screens that fit the Splinter stem wpa I use with my TM2? I had a bunch and apparently lost them. Thought the 12mm ID was near enough to a half inch but the 1/2" ones I got from Amazon were too big
My TM2's big o-ring finally needs to be replaced: my Splinter stem wpa doesn't have the a-little-too-tight fit from years past and is closer to just slipping right out nowadays.
Is there an easy replacement option that doesn't involve an unfortunate shipping fee from a site like the o-ring...
