The SOLO is my day time medicator.

Use geometry and figure the volume of the area containing the VAPOR.
Figure the out put OF your vaporizer.


My plug-in devices I like the FC186, FC187 or FCUFO.
Then you have the D series I like as well!

D022 for medium units.
D020, D020-T, D020-K and some others. I use these for a SOLO.

Then there are SHERLOCK and Ash Collector's I use as well.

I read a lot and love some of the books from Oxford and Cambridge as well as French books.

I study everyday and use a SOLO while doing so.
Cannabis makes you obtain know-how and the SOLO is the device perfect for study!

...then may i suggest to you sir the ENano.... it's not "super giant" in size,but it delivers "super giant" hits and is basically A PLUG IN SOLO ... IMO you only need those two vapes

I've had the E-Nano, and while I agree that it does deliver super giant hits, I disagree that it is basically a plug in Solo. Apples and oranges IMHO....conduction vs convection, and a completely different heater. I am re-considering the Nano again though, but I don't miss some of my poorer experiences with it that I don't get with the Solo.

But folks said they'd rather have 'use while charging', and Arizer is a company that listens to it's customers it seems.......

Listens, and then profits? Sure, we'll give you what you want, but you'll be buying more batteries because of it!

Honestly, I could care less for charge and use, and I wish they left the damn thing alone. But I do LOVE the new more open airflow!

I also notice that the bottom plate is a bit different on this one, and says rohs and has another sticker on it. Hopefully this one doesn't crack!

Still loving my first day back with the Solo....but now i'm contemplating a shorty and possibly turbo regular non-pvhes gong's if PV will make them for me.

Whoever owns the shorty and turbo, what are your thoughts? My regular sized bowl is definitely not as efficient as it could be, and i'm not sure if the turbo causes "too much" airflow?

@biohacker I have the shorty stem from Planetvape. I usually can get 2 /10 min sessions with the Solo with one regular sized stem with the normal bowl size on temp 4 and 5. With the Shorty stem I can get one session and you use less product.

The Turbo stem is one open hole with a beveled edge that holds the screen in place. You get less draw restriction.You need to wait for the Solo to recover before taking another draw, like 30 seconds before Solo may be back at the set temp.

I like either stem types, I like switching things around sometimes. Lately I'm using a shorty curved stem with no screen. There's no draw restriction and I need a coarse grind to reduce bits of herb in the stem.

When I was in England my friends lived in Black Pool.
They drank warm beer faster than people down tea!

Do you have a VORTEX stem?

Usually I use level 4 for most acessories.
With a VORTEX I bump it up one.

Planetvapes sells them.

It's a dry application however FLAVOR enhancer.

I second that with our friend @ataxian about the Vortex stem. It allows you to bump up the temp with less harshness. It's an inch longer than the reg standard stem. PV sells them. It allows you to extract all your good medicine in your herb. It has a vortex pocket that's sandwiched between the herb chamber and the air path.

Dropped my Solo today off the counter in the kitchen. It was a hard fall down onto the wood floors. The @Pipes stand went flying too. Was a bit nervous to see if the old gal was still working. Turned her on and all is well, except another chip to the bottom. It's kinda like wrinkles, it just adds character.

I keep referring to the Solo as a tank. Most portables wouldn't have withstood that hard of a fall, they would be in pieces. So many portable vaporizers are throwaway type units, not the Solo or the Air. Not sure how the Air would have done in a fall like that?

Same as the current model, 12 VDC at 1 Amp (or more). The problem is the connector is not common, that's where you'll find trouble I think. Do you have an old one you can cut off?

I would pull it half charged and either use the 4 or so sessions or simply resume when I could watch it. No big penalty for charging to step 4 twice, it's the over and under charge that you should avoid.

Likewise, I'd unplug and enjoy the session on battery power. 'Use while charging' causes the battery to charge and discharge over and over as the temperature cycles. This is hard on them, more so when they're warmer. By charging after the session, the battery also stays cooler.

Changing technique from time to time is no big deal, but if you stop charging early you basically get a free cycle (say 7 more sessions) every time you do it. Replacements aren't all that expensive, but a PITA to change, it's hard to pack in and there's lots of stuff to break and lose.

The VORTEX stem I did not use at first because I'm stubborn!
Lately I have been using the SOLO everyday with the VORTEX stem during the day.

I would buy all kinds of vaporizers however that would be wasteful!

I have been trying different portables I hate to admit however the SOLO for my needs are perfect. Do what works for you!

No, I just got an EasyFlow stem yesterday, which I quite like. It seems a tighter fit than the stock stem (resolving the o-ring issue!), and has much less draw resistance. The fit is probably down to the slits around the chamber, which may allow expansion of the glass to fit tighter as the over heats up.

Though when it was listed as a 'long' stem, I (wrongly) assumed it meant it was longer than the stock stem - which would have been nice getting just that little bit further away with mouth to the over, so I guess I need to check out the VORTEX for that!

Another cool option is to use a GonG with a SHERLOCK. Mix it up!

I hide a jar of GSC in a plant.
I read a book and take RIPS with my friend the SOLO.

The reason I like the VORTEX stem is it fits my pocket.

Another flawless day with my new love affair! Even tried the dry aroma tubes and the flavour is absolutely delightful. I just don't understand why the Solo doesn't irritate my airways like pretty much every other vape i've tried....and it milks like no other! I have to have a 2nd Solo now, but damn I can't decide whether to go black again or get the silver! First world problems!! Once you go black you don't go back?? I remember when I had a silver it looked scuffed up much faster.
