The only remaining question I have is, is how does the matrix perc compare between the FC-187 v2 and the gb-187-s, does anyone know?

Might be someone on here with both, but not sure. Would be kind of odd because they are both essentially the same - just from different sources. Will say I had an FC-187 V1 that the perc fired well on. Problem was that it sat too high in the can and was hard for me to use without getting splashed in the mouth. Friend who I gifted it to loves it though!

Can't believe I forgot this one above!! There is a similar version with a more rudimentary perc available from a US blower on iOffer. The jhanpixel circ UFO. I have one and it is a very nice piece. Biggest differences are that it is US made and the perc is more wide open and has less diffusion. Would be great if the slits were flame polished, but looks like from pics they still aren't. Mine hits not quite as purringly smooth as my GB-187 (straight neck), but is definitely not chuggy at all. It doesn't seem to knock flavor down quite as much either. It is listed at $150 (free ship), but you could probably get it for an offer of $135. jhan is a member on FC. So if you offer, be sure to mention you heard about his piece here. A good bit more expensive, but US blown and will probably get to you much quicker. Is is a solid, heavy piece. Thicker and heavier than anything I have from China.

They are very similar, but slightly different. Here's a picture of 2 FC-187s and 1 GB-187. I have a FC-187 southpaw, but haven't unboxed it yet for a pic. Maybe today (if I can find the box..... moving sucks).

Tracking says it shipped on 23/3, so 7 days to get to me
(I ordered my Kaite egg like 3 days before the grenade perc - that still hasn't shown up yet)

Seems like a pretty cool rig - as with goddamn everything on DHgate, I thought it'd be bigger , but it's nice

I opened up an after sale dispute with kathy today about my broken egg...
Approx 30 days ago she said she'd ship out my replacement egg in 6-10 days.
During that time I ordered some adapters, and told kathy I was happy for her to wait and ship my adapters along with the replacement egg.

My adapters arrived a few days ago but no egg with them.
I got some dorpdowns [sic] at the same time so figured the egg was with the dorpdowns...
Nope, no egg.
So I contacted kathy, and then no response for a few days...

Meh, I gave her ages to sort this, so dispute time (I'm asking for a full refund - but I really just want kathy to send out a replacement - assuming my dispute is successful I'm just gonna be re-buying the egg from kathy anyway )

My baby layer cake arrived. Ordered on the 2nd and got it on the 16th down here in sunny Australia. It was inside a foam box that was wrapped in bubble wrap. No chance of breaking.

The quality is pretty good. A few small bubbles in the welds but barely noticeable. Almost too small to use but gives great flavour.

For under $15AUD I'm extremely happy

How's it holding up? Do you have any pics of it?

@Sttlesks I haven't put too many miles on this bad boy yet. How small a mini do you need? I would recommend Sun Shine Stores mini beaker over the layer cake as it's easier to hit.

It's more like a standard tube than the kathy egg, but It's nice

I see you guys have had a few pieces arrive broken. I just received my replacement for my FC-187.. the new design with the sidecar mouthpiece. The mouthpiece was broken off completely. Steven has offered to send me a replacement if I can get him a pic. Therein lies the problem.

For some reason, when I hit the 'browse' button to upload the pic into the reply, I can't get it to load. It opens up a new window to choose from, but when I hit 'open,' nothing happens. Have any of you had this problem? And if so, how did you get it resolved?

I'm using a similar design bubbler with my sublimator (atomic prec) only it has the direct inject style into a shower head second chamber. I like to use the buddy (claisen) so I have a carb, which leaves a little to be desired with the dewar joint (nothing to clip to) but that should work great with a sub alone unless it's just much smaller than it appears in the photo. I am guessing that is 18mm joints?

I received my grenade perc and the water test makes me real happy. I have no idea how it should function but it's firing evenly, water goes up to the grenade and stops. It seems water is going up the different channels of the grenade. Now it's time for me to pick up flowers.
