I probably (almost certainly) recalled incorrectly. My original “device too hot” messages probably also occurred over the same span (before the device had a chance to cool).
This morning, I watched NorthernHigh420’s video on utube, and saw that he used On-Demand 464. For science, I cranked mine to 240C and got the ”device too hot” message and subsequent device off.
- Immediately restarted and tried again… same thing.
- Immediately lowered temperature to my usual 220C, and same thing.
Set down for a bit, and it’s back to working like a champ (at 220C on demand) again.
If it factors into the possible reason(s) why - I’m using regular S&B dosing capsules, with about 0.035g, the bent stem and airflow wide open.
Seems great again, after waiting a bit.
