I ordered the metal heating chamber and the glass mouthpiece today.
Honestly, I find the Roffu’s original mouthpiece much more discreet than a glass stem. But I think I can just carry it in my bag and switch it when I’m out and about.
It does make the Roffu a bit bulkier though. I'm also curious to try the metal chamber — even though I haven’t had any issues with the glass one so far.
Right now, the Roffu has been my daily companion for three weeks. It feels great to always have it with me.
What water pipe are you enjoying @fuzzysoda.
I find the Roffu can be a bit restrictive for some glass like recyclers, like here (it works but is not a great match even with my home made hi-flow WPA),
I agree, the OG standard mouthpiece makes the Roffu very stealthy as well as being a great vapor cooler.

I like the glass mp, but nothing to do with stealth.
I like the several 90° turns it brings the airpath for cooling, and the tactile experience of glass on the lips. Oh, and the hits seem a little punchier.

Yes, that's it. You'd have to see the assembly, the cap and chamber to see how the vapor path makes 3 90°turns on its way out.sorry i am confused, isnt this the glass mouthpiece?
There is another, alternate installation that will set the glass above and in line with the chamber, for much more direct-hitting.

ah ok, thanks for the clarification! i am sure i will eventually order this too, was just double checking whether i missed sth. the j-hook you speak of @LesPlenty would be mated to this mouthpiece yes?

Yes, with or without the glass mouthpiece (or with a GonG adapter, see video below) installed if the glass joint is deep enough, as you can see when I clear the vapor in the second video above.

And my at home favourite use for the Roffu is on a j-hook.

Roffu Update:
Today, the metal heating chamber and glass mouthpiece from VDN finally arrived.
I was already quite happy with the Roffu – but the metal chamber is supposed to produce more vapor, and the glass mouthpiece promises better flavor.
After a 6-minute session, I can confirm:
The metal heating chamber delivers noticeably more vapor.
But what really impressed me is the glass mouthpiece!
First, the flavor is significantly more intense – and second, the hot Roffu isn’t directly on your lips anymore.
With the standard mouthpiece, I usually only get good flavor on the first draw.
With the glass mouthpiece, I get a nice taste for up to three draws.
Both upgrades noticeably enhance the device overall.

Anyone have issues with their roffu turning on and off constantly? Just started last week. Put the battery in from a fresh charge. Flashed the roffu screen then shutoff. It repeats this cycle until I pull the battery. Have also tried different batteries and the same happens. Been an awesome device up to this point. Not sure what the deal is.
Sorry to hear you are having troubles but this is not a known issue.
When you put the battery in and before shutting the battery door, push on the bottom of the battery to check it springs up and down freely as debris can get in the battery compartment if you are unlucky and jam the spring at the positive end. Also check the contact pin still springs at the hinge and clean with iso if necessary.
I will investigate more options and any hints from other members in the mean time would be a great help.
If we can't get you going, warranty will look after you (if your unit is still under it).

So gave those steps a shot. Went and did a 3 min session. Turned it off. Didn't immediately turn on so I'm thinking fixed. About 2 mins later I hear it vibrating on my shelf. The cycle started again. I have had it since Jan 2024 so I'm out of the warranty period

@RAMMSTEIN , glad you like the glass mp.
In your photo, I think you have the glass mp mounted directly over the chamber screen and chamber. In this installation it won't slide any further "in" than the chamber screen gasket. It will produce great, direct vapor, likely in need of some cooling via jhook or glass, etc.
IF you turn the mp (and its silicone housing) 180°, then the mp will be offset from the chamber & screen. The glass tube of the mp can slide down considerably further. Mine goes til about a half inch is still proud of the silicone -- and the vapor path has more turns for cooling.
So it sounds like there may be a problem where you cleaned. Do you have access to some contact cleaner in a spray can?
Something like the following is great to have on hand for many jobs,
A blast in the battery compartment with some contact cleaner may get out what is still causing the problem.
If that also fails, you could try working with the seller you got the vape from as you may only just be out of warranty and they may still help.

Making a chamber and a stem out of paper has been great!
Its easy,cheap, available, no fear to break not too fragile but easily replaceable/backups, taste, almost cool to the touch, can make different sizes both in how many layers wrapped and how long and havent done more but can probably cut and shape many things, and i have found i can insert in the paper bowl/chamber another paper and so its made 10 other vape capsules i have great in the roffu, i have 2 different sized sets of 5 mesh capsules one large to fit in a 18 or maybe 19mm stempod stem and the others are small im not sure from where their old maybe fury or..? Just about the size of a dynavap chamber,
For the larger i have a paper chamber thats wrapped only a few times, and another paper for the roffu caps and another paper insert for the even smaller mesh, and so far i think thay work amazingly, im especially happy with the small as for years i never really had a use for them.
I recently found thanks to SS calling this a portable log got me thinking, and i found a i think 14 mm stem fits in too, i wonder if it fits in the glass or metal chambers too,
Though its not the tightest and doesnt go to the end in the chmaber, i have a stem where its comfy to hold with a finger, and the paper holds nice on its own, and i think if i made a shorter bowl it might be better.
I broke a chamber!! nooo, lol!! the early days with the glass stem, not easy i just did something stupid, and instead of stress to replace, a few mins later i got a new bowl.
In this light of SS words I have made a few paper stems with little glass mouth tips and its very cool to feel the stem like experience of a log with a thinner stem as the bowl,
Or a wider stem around the bowl
Gets dirty/resinos, will turn very dark grey at heater contact and dark brown next to that and start to crack then crumble
Then on to the next earlier or later
Thanks bear r i was using only caps, wasnt happy regular packed found finer grind and tight pack though slow to start was the only way the vapor was thick and satisfying, but now im really liking straight in the bowl and with a glass stem its so much better and medium grind is great and 3/4 fill is great,
but i still feel fine grind is good maybe even great too, and also different amounts work great too,or with a screen i cut to put on the weed in the bowl with the og mouthpiece,

Need help with a couple questions - was wondering is it better or worse to push the stem on the wpa all the way down?
I was also wondering if the holes on the stem in the pic above are important because i wanted to switch it out with either of these however they don't have the holes? -
