Aezhenn Wood

Hi Aezhenn I just created an account to message you but I'm unable to. I'm very interested in buying one of your glass lined wooden stems. Can you please message me?

Stunning!

@Duba How does that stem handle the tornado?

I recently received one of Aazhen’s stems like that but don’t have an adaptor for the tornado so can’t experiment

With his larger glass stem (the stem on the pic), It's an exceptional marriage. The balance of airflow, flavor and cooling is excellent. @ScruffyWoofers makes the Nado adapter

Are you saying the stem you’ve got the tornado on in that pic is the larger one? If so mine looks the same size so that’s great to know, thanks.

Appreciate the heads up re the adaptor, I’ll see if I can get one from them. Cheers muchly!

Absolutely pornographic picture lol, very nice. Beautiful and regal blend of colors, with a nice elegant shape!

I love the df2 for a nice, toasty, and roasty session . Custom builds that took time and research really add to the experience for me when I pull out my various accoutrement and it's tuned exactly to my taste :D

How do you reccomend cleaning a glass lined stem that has a bunch of cooling spikes? I accidentally combusted 😭😭😭
I just pull the glass tube out, hold it between my fingers with a little iso sprayed inside, shake it, and flush with water. twice usually gets all the things out but there are other things and techniques if its so on there that even an iso soak won't get it all. I would clean the head as normal. i feel like with the new stems with the metal ring there might be a gap between the head and the glass tube but i've never inspected it too closely. but if you have a ring of black stuff in there either an iso q tip or just reach out to aezhenn directly. adding moisture to the wood should be done with care, and heat should be avoided.

Edit: Also pay attention to how the stem vs head smells. I have needed to deep clean heads more than stems

I've never gotten the smell of combustion out with just an iso rinse. I fill the entire stem up with baking soda and let it sit for half a day. Then the other half of the day I soak it in iso, soap and baking soda. The wash it out with hot ass water. I honestly have no idea if the soap and baking soda inside the iso does anything at all but I HATE combustion taste and this is the method that works every single time for me. Sometimes on a really bad one I'll change out the baking soda after half a day and put some new stuff in and leave it overnight. Maybe my method is way overboard, I have no idea. All I know is I don't want a single bit of combustion taste at all, and this does it for me.

Maybe it’s just me, but ass water sounds disgusting.
