Honestly i think it's not peek material otherwise it would be advertised on the website because it's a sales target for some...they just play it safe and say premium material, which in turn can be anything. Peek is also a bit more expensive but I don't know. What makes me most suspicious is the CE mark on the old devices / packaging...Why do they do that? Everyone knows it...

I don't want to write anything bad about the company here, and I can be wrong about everything...I still have two pre-ordered but I'm also a bit unsure now, in the end it's nothing more than another china vape, of which there are hundreds.

I'm from Berlin germany ;) the mary jane exhibition will be here soon, maybe airvape will be there and i'll have a look at it there, because here in germany people don't really know the company...

EDIT: Nevermind, i no longer care, after all the disingenuous replies and hate i got from commenting on that youtube video. I no longer want anything to do with this company. I'll be looking around for something else. I hope everyone gets a good product, but from what they've showed on the youtube video and from reactions to my questions in the comments about it <from which i can no longer comment on> i'll ask for a refund, again in email. Then i'm charging back

Just to be clear gary, before i leave this thread. That did no address my issue at all. I was asking for tarrifs, i thought obviously through context ...US....and you start talking about VAT. That is a very clever non-answer. Good day sir.

Sorry, but I don't see what the company has to do with youtube comments? Like, I think it is fair to criticies the points your named (even though it is super normal for silicone to attract dust), but it's not like youtube commenters are the employees of the company

They kept saying stuff about "pre production show models" and then they started deleting my comments and theirs. I'm not sure how youtube works, but i don't think non hateful posts dissapear unless the people who posted the video delete them?

I did make this account here when i pre-ordered this vape from a user on another site i visit often showed the link. I came here when i saw a company rep is on this fourm, so i asked a quesiton about tarrifs, got a response about VAT and got concerned so i started to look harder.

No, commenters said that. That are simple users like you and me. That were not comments from the company accounts.

But yes, it seems they deleted your comment.

No to be clear i deleted that whole thread myself after comments that made me look really bad were deleted. It made the context all wonky. Someone for sure commented to me < in a reply they edited multiple times then deleted..> about why i was going postal about a preproduction unit i have no clue about how far it'd traveled etc.

So to be clear i deleted my original comment, and replaced it with a much more succinctly worded one after context got deleted from the previous one...that someone was deleting comments from, mine included.

If you want to do good business, you have to follow the rules! China is far more advanced technologically than any Western country... Rules are rules there, no shortcuts to use cheap shit if you are a legit business.

I'm so sad to see all this negativity. Do you really think we advertise a colourful display and not deliver? Do you really think we'll ship you a used unit? (the one we used for the video, the only prototype we had to make content, sorry :D )

And CS answers all emails, I personally check that every week, this is what our company is famous for, the good customer care compared to other vape companies.

Thanks for the replies! It's not all negativity here. There's a lot of interest in this thread. Even the disappointment is borne out of anxious anticipation. :lol: Need to get some restless hands on devices.

Thanks @Gary-Airvape ... I am good with everything you said except that the tariffs are a "media hoax."

Yes, the china imports tariffs wwre lowered for the next 11ish weeks, but it was lowered to approximately 40% instead of the like 150ish it was raised to by the same guy.

If you truly believe that what's being reported is only "media hoax" then I completely understand why you've been giving very short replies before this last one.

And at risk of going off topic (although I'm directly responding to this company rep) please take a look at THIS for some accurate info on the current US/China tariff situation.

I just saw the new video ad for the ALP 2...and it looks amazing. I see that the airflow got enhanced...I was not sure but, after seeing the video it verity's it.

I haven't been being negative, You've been evasive. I finally did receive an email from CS, today, a month after my initial one and after raising a stink about it. I just wanted answers not evasion. Please do not assign values to legit questions based on your judgment of negative or positive. You're a business.

I just tried a more coarse grind...and it became more delicious. So, how to make the best of your grind with ALP...for me it's a medium grind.

Considering rules are rules and china being technologically advanced is that a confirmation that the AVLP2 will have an actual CE certification?

I mean, if you use advertise a colourful display, it's just weird to not show that in product trailers?

Also, no one worried about you shipping a used unit. People wondered why the area around the oven looks scratched like that. I expect that from a product that has been used for several months to years. Not a unit used for a trailer. Or do you actually produce only a single prototype and then use that for vaping all the time privately even though you know there are no other prototypes for trailers? I don't get why it would look that used otherwise

I was thinking the same @kokolokokolokon . Depends on the size of the pass through hole. Something metal that telescopes out. But then you have the stock mouthpiece hole there, and an abnormally shaped cutout, etc. I would have preferred an entirely different pathway design, less silicone, etc, but I need to take the AVLP2 as it comes.

It's not like they hid this part of the design from me when I ordered. :lol:
