First impressions, looks and feels great, super premium feel, even more than the V1 somehow, although V1 still wins on looks for me.
Set at 280c on the wand, cap airflow only 1/3 open, set to full bowl for first time, huge clouds and hit like a truck, like boom my eyes were gone, felt like a really deep full extraction, heavier than the V1 and perfect dark roast all the way through. Very impressed.
Looking forward to seeing the manual, looks like 3 settings for airflow, a little notch as well as the main air hole?
@Brenyo, thank you, great service as always, feels like another winner! My induction sleeve is incredibly tight, can only move it to adjust cap airflow if I loosen the top screw, is this intentional? Visual indicator also seems to be a bit sticky, anyone else have an issue?
On with the testing......

If Terminator was blazing, I bet he'd pick all Ti version...
Damn that is gorgeous, my misses asked me if I get stiffy looking at it for so long🤣
I wish I had the full ti v1 body and radiator.

Right? Yeah😆

Can anyone expand on the changes to the visual indicator, maybe @Brenyo? Is there any point in upgrading that for v1 users?
The click discs are more responsive, meaning less cool down time required before clicking back to rest.
The induction layer is thicker so it'll retain heat for longer.
I think the indicator housing was supposed to be an easier to disassemble and reassemble layout, but I'm not totally sure on that one.

Sorry, I'm a little faded at the moment, I read that as what is the upgrade kit about...? 🤣

I think the Vi is just green for visibility now. But let's face it, I could be well wrong, especially at the moment....

So no point in upgrading the VI? Just talking about the indicator :)

I think the new upgrade would be worth it for the thicker sleeve and more reactive discs.
I mean, I've battered mine around for a while now, I think it deserves a spruce up anyway.
Yeah, but afaik nothing stops you from simply not using the new VI, right? You can get the upgrade kit but you don't have to use every part :)

EDIT- I meant to reply to the guy who posted the Terminator Gif. I'm absolutely blazed. This bigger bowl is going to really add up doing back to back hits, my god

I'm not sure what the diameter is on the new parts. The new induction sleeve is thicker, so if it's then wider than the old VI unit, then it might look a bit odd, because there would be a step between the two.

@MegaChip about the wand adapter: if you try sone devices on the wand without any adapter you will notice a difference. The walls of the adapters can dissipate some heat. And (this is speculative) maybe that hinders electromagnetic penetration.

But the adapters are more comfortable. Brenyo wanted to get the easy to use of the adapters without the heat loss problem.

About the indicator housing: if you buy the upgrade kit, i recommend you to use all the new pieces. They match better and the new housing is easier to assemble/disassemble (i already did it). Also, another user asked if he can loose the too screw since the magnetic layer is really tight, this is to lock the airflow setting, basically. I dont know if this is possible if you use the new layer + old housing.

@TedJones the new chamber is wider

Is it a metal bowl screen this time? Same diameter as original mesh by chance? ;)
The T1 screens are smaller diameter. I just tried with a fresh screen. It doesn't slot into any of the grooves. You can push it all the way down like in the pic below. It stays secure like this. However it will probably have less airflow than the CCD.

I'm sure you could find some that fit if you really prefer mesh.

I just had my first bong rip with the full bowl setting. TLDR..... It's awesome! The AVB was the same colour throughout, and it pretty much fully extracted.

The new wand adaptor is a bit janky looking, but it works great! If you have the wand stand from the V1 kit it keeps it nice and stable

Bonus picture at the end. I noticed you can lie the tempest on its side and the head doesn't touch the surface

That's a great find regarding the head not touching. Nice little detail.

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
the v2Head being larger, I think I rather buy a complete device and keep v1 on my revolve 2 like a spare
v1 on revolve 2 is really nice in look, thin and conic shaped like a blunt

Somebody could do pictures with v1 head beside the v2 head ?

I've seen that there is no more glass wpa available on dhgate in 14mm (only shits with 10mm and 14mm both). If somebody know where to find one in EU ....

There is a shop in the UK called recommended vape supplies, they sell dark and clear glass 14mm water piece adapters, but the shop is closed while he has and recovered from surgery to his leg.

As far as the heads go, here it is side by side, and here's the old bowl/head fitting into the new one to give an idea of the difference in width.

Thanks for informations and pictures. Finally, the size of the bowls are closed. I am not sure that it is worthy for me to buy a v2 head.
The heat retention is noticeably improved, it just keeps going, there is an element there's more weed with the bigger bowl but really feels like the new head/induction layer are holding the heat longer, hopefully the V1 upgrade kit will give the same performance. Need to do some testing with smaller bowls.
The look is really growing on me, V1 feels so light now, and you would think heavier would be a bad thing but V2 just feels so good in the hand.
The new wand adapter does look janky but once set correctly with the wand stand it works perfectly, and the ability to increase or decrease your wand depth precisely by a quarter turn, half turn etc is priceless compared to trying to move the old glass adapter, great innovation.

Thanks for you report.
I have seen that the v2 head is sold out on mad heater website. I miss the pre-order or it will be available soon ?

Hoping to try mine later once I've done a few bits a pieces, if not today it'll need toenail until tomorrow.
But even without using it, I think it's definitely worth getting the new one, there are several upgrades, and the early reports are that it is better. The wider bowl alone should give better results in my opinion...

I'm just about ready to start making vids. I thought I needed time to dial it in, but I'm getting perfect experiences each time.

Just did a DTL bowl in a single hit through the stem. Bowl at second setting (0.15g) and the potency is astonishing. I'll need a little time before I hit it again.

I'm going to get a video of stem hits in all bowl settings. Full bowl bubbler hit using stem as WPA. Small bowl glass WPA hits. Hash, and concentrates. Might take me a few days, due to the potency being really high.

I'll write down my impressions as I'm going. I'll also mix in some Tempest 1 bowls to get a bigger feel for differences.

I sincerely hope you don't intend knocking out all those vids in one session! 😱

I did about 6 bowls last night (some were CBD 😇) and I'm really impressed. MTL is really good, lots of hits with big clouds.

DTL with the full bowl setting is a bit spicy, but definitely manageable. I took 3 big lungfuls and I only coughed a little bit at the end.

And a few bong hits for good measure. Super smooth big clouds!

I'm finding AVB extraction is excellent. The AVB came out tobacco coloured. I went and tried another cycle but it was pretty much done. I get the same thing with my sticky brick, so I think it's slightly more efficient than the V1

I did manage to scorch the bowl once when doing a second cycle. It stays hot for a long time so you have to be careful to either let it cool or drop heating temp/time a bit if you do a second cycle

Its a bank holiday weekend in UK, so I'll be doing more late night science experiments tonight 😵‍💫
