The b2cvape (Tiodw) Thread

This is awesome!! I’m a huge fan of those 8wrap coils for wireless use too. Much cheaper than an armor coil and awesome for things less conducive to axial shaping (works great with epitome for example - thermocouple rests in a dramatically more appropriate spot for diffusers that sit overhang-down in an axial… usually the axial TC is touching only air like that! Can also be mounted upside-down for shorter units like Heavy Omega, allowing the TC proper readings.)

Thanks! Agreed!! That explains very well why the temps need to drop back down to the wired temps when using a barrel vs axial coil.

Mounting the coil upside down for shorter housings makes sense and is a great idea too!

Yeah I own a Tiodw mini pro Ti and a Ceramic V3. They both perform well, the mini pro and the ceramic v3 are pretty close but the ceramic is slightly better for flavour but has to be at a higher temp than the mini pro. The v3 ceramic can need stirring depending on start temp and bowl used but the mini pro gives very even roasts and does make for tasty one and done (pure convection) hits and it's wireless too. I have to say though that my screwball and Ace are my favourite vapes they're great for big loads or micro dosing using the micro dose bowl or just moving the screen in the standard Ti bowl. When using the glass bowl with the screwball or Ace, they both produce well cloudy tasty hits. The best for flavour I have though is the GoPhase3 ZX it's also the best for microdosing although I find the zx zirconia bowl is the best for one and done I find the glass bowl the best for flavour. Saying that I'd really like to get my hands on the new Vapvana Natural,, which is a Quartz ball vape with sapphire balls or gems it's available now for 110vac areas of the world but no 220vac versions yet . From previews on The Troy&Jerry show this sounds and looks to be one of the best ball vapes on the market for both flavour and effects. Hope fully I'll be able to test one soon if I win lol. I'm hoping to lob a few review vids on YT etc, if I ever get round to.it. I've done a few on IG for the Tornado by vestratto, Ace and Screwball by Vapvana, and ZX by GoPhase3. Id post a link or my IG name but not sure that's allowed. Hope this helps and hasn't added more confision. Anyone tried the new mini pro ceramic by Tiodw or the ceramic pro?

hey y'all, been following this thread for a while - finally making the jump.

This is my purchase list for b2cstore (Imgur link, click here)

Other than the ruby balls, what am I missing? I'm going to message b2cvape to find exactly how many ruby balls I need, but first I need to choose my bowl. the options are so confusing. I don't want something too big, maybe like a 0.4-0.6 gram bowl size. " 14mm OD22 Ti Bowl" anyone?? and then TIODW pro housing? i'm confused im sorry guys im so close to fully understanding

any help would be greatly appreciated as this volcano is killing me

That is a weird list of things.

The best is to decide on the housing for the balls first. From there you choose the coil, stand and bowl.

What do you want. Conduction or convection heavy? Difference is that convection uses the heat of the air to extract while conduction relies more on heating the material by being in contact with a hot surface. In reality it is always a mix of conduction and convection, so you really choose the amount of conduction you want to have.
The more conduction, in general the more sedative the effects.

0.4 - 0.6 grams is A LOT for a single bowl. Are you sure that is your standard amount for a bowl?
Do you want Wireless or Wired? Wireless looses heat faster while you draw on it. So back to back bowls are better done with wired vapes.

Titanium Bowls introduce more conduction than glass bowls. So if you want a lot of conduction, you can choose a titanium bowl and a titanium conduction housing. If you want the least conduction you could go with a ceramic head and glass bowl.

As said, narrow down the housing first.

Hey fellow Tiodw fans!!

I recommend checking out the DHgate Tiodw store vs the b2cvape store.

1) B2C has all of their housings and even bowls hidden in their store page which is confusing for anyone interested in a Tiodw housing for the first time.

2) Tiodw store is a little bit cheaper overall with free shipping.

3) The Tiodw store has updated bowls that B2C doesn’t, like an updated and upgraded Tiodw plus 2.0 22mm diffuser bowl. It now has a tighter fit and wider more open airflow at the joint.

4) Tiodw store released a new item the B2C has not. They now sell 25mm and 30mm ID extended length axial coils. (10 wraps)

Those new coils may be indication that they are working on new wireless housings in both 25mm and 30mm sizes. That could be really interesting.

Yes, they'll be releasing a copy of the Universal Baller very soon.
I saw the first images yesterday.
A perfect copy, lol.
But those who want to save money can buy this copy of the UB.

For real? 😳 I have the UB kit as a founder so I just can’t support that. That’s really disappointing and a let down. They’ve been decent at being original for a while imo. Ever since I got a Taroma360 I’ve been wanting a 22mm diffuser with a dropped down coil. The plus 2.0 was the first in my memory to do that, well before the UB or the T360 XLS. So if it’s just a wireless Tiodw plus 2.0 I think that’s fair game.

If there’s a 30mm wireless housing coming out then that’s not really a copy is it? I havnt seen any 30mm wireless housings yet so to me that would be pretty original. I think.

Are you able to share some pics on here?

Never mind! I got sent the pics already and just didn’t check!

You were not exaggerating. I was not expecting a glass insert (I suspect it’s not quartz if priced very low), it looks like a fritted disk and high airflow glass screen too. They added an injector end but otherwise it does look identical. I really didn’t see this coming and I wish they did more than add the injector end to differentiate it. Still waiting to hear about what that 30mm coil is all about tho.

I'm pretty sure Tiodw 2.0 came out after the Screwball. But the problem with these basic vapes is surely all the patents involving heat/vapor/pipes were taken out in the 1800's.

That’s true and fair!

There was also the 360 and then the Tiodw plus that did the same thing too, just in a smaller 20mm format and narrow bowls. I bought all of them included the screwball. Unfortunately they didn’t scratch my itch for a standard 22mm diffuser version that is compatible with all the 22mm diffuser bowls I’ve collected over the years.

Proprietary bowls are also expensive! Just a glass 360 bowl would cost me $100 after the shipping cost plus duties/taxes. Screwball half glass hybrid bowls are around $100 CAD.

Does anybody know if the Tiodw aluminum stand is threaded for 10/24 titanium posts?

I would like to thread my 14mm SKO Titanium post into one of the Tiodw heat stands.

The price is right and much cheaper than the Cannabis Hardware base stands.

Thanks in advance for all assistance.

I think I can help! I dont have a CH stand but is it the same universal threading that CH and OWW uses for the handles? (I can’t remember thread sizes for the life of me)

If so then it’s the same threading. I just tested it with a OWW wireless handle. 👍🏻

Oooo.. thank you for "sciencing" it up for me!

I will have to contact OWW to see what threads they use for the OWW Wireless Handle, as it is unclear which they use on the product page.
