Hey everyone! So my VAS is getting tingled (lol) and I was wondering if anyone who has both the AVLP and the Tinymight 2 might help me out. Basically the only two things I'm looking to compare is harshness of vapor (when using a good stem on the TM2 because the short glass it comes with is rubbish lol), and the taste of the vapor. Does it taste as nice as TM2? Is it smoother than TM2? I know it'll be different because it's hybrid not convection but just looking to get a gauge of the device before I replace it for my walks! If the TM2 tastes objectively better and cools about the same then I may as well save even a hundred dollars ya know?

Greetings,

It is hard to compare I believe because it is such a subjective topic....so, I will comment based on my own experience...the taste and smoothness of the ALP is superior to the TM2. The TM2 is very powerful...sometimes too powerful. I love my TM2 its amazing...I have a huge collection of stems and mouth pieces...etc, but, I favor the ALP quite a bit. It is the taste and it does have power. I used it today with my bong...truly excellent.

That's exactly what I was looking to hear 😄 ordered! Thank you! Very excited to try it out. If nothing else, even having a sturdy substitute to my TM2 would be so nice.

Hi !
Any tips to get an Airvape legacy pro 2 in EU ?
I was on their US website, and there is no option to send it abroad… an no offer on the EU website either...

Thanks ! And cheers for that 4 20 !

Is anyone using anything other than the stock mouthpiece? I lost mine yesterday, sadly, and I'm wondering what options exist (if any). Thanks!

Glad to know as well! I actually ordered one when I pre-ordered the Legacy Pro 2. Hoping it can still house the new AVLP2! Could not beat that deal, seriously.
I hate waiting for stuff, but just the thought of soon having the new updated Legacy Pro has me giddy!
As far as I know there is very little "new", about alvp2. It's the exact same only cork instead of fabric on the outside, a little hole on the top side to get easier acces for cleaning, a different display and the airpath entry near the chamber having a different form for cleaning.

It's more of a v2.

Yeah, I figured. And yeah it really is. I can't wait!
I wonder what other color schemes will be available later? Hopefully there's black and blue.

That's what we know so far to have changed, yes. I think for most people, the device was well-received but had some minor flaws. Cleaning was the biggest sore point and the changes we've seen teased in this version seem to address this. For $99, this change alone was enough for me but hopefully we'll get some other little things besides the new display and easy cleaning. The easy-to-dislodge mouthpiece might have also been addressed since it seems a bit different.

I wonder how people use the wax pads that come with the AVLP. I’ve been buying some concentrates that I really like but the problem is, where with flower I’d do 3-4 caps typically, with the wax pads after I use it once it’s done until I soak it in iso and let it dry out again. Do you just have to buy a bunch of $10 pads?

I’ve tried sandwiching as well and it’s fine but I do like the pure concentrate taste and would like to be able to do 3-4 in a row without investing so much in tiny steel pads for $10 each.

I used them for a while and traded over to hemp vape floss in a capsule.

Does anyone know if the WPA will fit the Legacy Pro 2? It looks like a different mouthpiece on the newer model
yeah, it will according to cs@airvapeusa.com email

I've been using my AVLP again recently after having largely shelved it in favor of the Solo3 and now I remember why this was my go-to portable for a couple of years. Still has great taste and vapor production. The capsules are clutch. Good battery life too for such a small footprint. I can get 7-8 capsules out of a fully charged Molicel. I can charge it in my car on the charging pad. It's also pretty durable because it's still going strong over 3 years now.

I'm looking forward to the new model that makes cleaning easier because that was my main gripe.

yeah, it will according to cs@airvapusa.com email
Do you know if they addressed the problem of the old mouthpiece coming out sometimes? Ususally it could get disconnected if it was loose in your pocket and not in a case.
