Tabletop Bong anyone?

I think it’s ’cuz I linked them from my google site. I’ll fix that later today. If, for some reason you cannot see the images, you can see them all, plus my build notes, by clicking the link in my signature.

Update, since I cannot edit my older post, here are the images. As a reminder, these are made with scrap wood. I will made them with better wood once I have finalized my design and measurements. I have pretty detailed notes on the build for the bong, but not the orb.

Maybe not the oldest, but possibly the fartiest!
Finally, my first finished Table-Top. Made with walnut plywood, sanded down to 400 grit then 10 coats of Poly Wipe-On. Technically still scrap wood, but nicer :-)
I chose to use the cork base to help with stability. I have some sticky pads on order and the right size Forstner bit need to inset the sticky pad. I also ordered a another flask from Ali that was even cheaper than the Amazon "StonyLab" flask, so I'll try that when it comes. For now, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. I wouldn't call this an easy project, but it's doable if you have the time. Best to just order one unless you are an avid DIYer.

I saw this cage stand holder on esty that got me thinking if that would work with this 500ml globe, I think a carb will help me remember to clear....

And here's my latest attempt for a DIY Tabletop Orb. Again, lots of work and not recommended unless you have the right tools. Also, since AliExpress has dried up as a source of cheap accessories, a DIY version is even more expensive now.

This is made from discarded wood I picked up at a construction site near me. I think it came out pretty good. The crack in the wood on the top piece looks much worse than what it is. The polyurethane sealed it up well, so it's just cosmetic. it gives the piece "character"! At this point I have a TT bong and an orb, so I think I'm done. On to new projects.

Good work! It looks great!
You might wanna try the 250 ml flask too, if you didn't already. I got one and love it for the quick action and stronger taste it has to it. Sometimes i prefer it over the 500 ml. I tend to use the 500 ml with big cloud devices like my ball vape and the 250 ml with smaller vapes like the Lotus, Vapman or with quartz banger for dabbing.

Thanks

I had actually just commented on a Reddit page that I thought the 250 was too small, but I haven’t tried it. I thought I was done making these, but you, you, darn you to the gates of down under! 😉😜

But I think I’m gonna pass on the 250. I already have a nice Purr bong that I use when I want something smaller, and I now have 5 bongs, an DynaVap, and three vapes. and smoke about .1g per day. I gotta stop buying stuff! AliExpress not selling anything I want to the USA is a help (for me, right now at least)

But still, I may make a 250. Damn you!

Sorry for the GAS 🤣
My gear is a bit similar to yours, 6 water pieces, Solo 3, Vapman, Lotus, Ball vape, dt gen 2. I have a nice little recycler rig, but since i got the 250 ml bottle, i prefer it because it‘s a breeze to clean.

I don't want to persuade you to get a 250 ml bottle, but I can’t resist to tell about my positive experience with it. 😄

Perhaps you could have a similar action with the 500 ml bottle.
A 500 ml bottle, let’s say, 2/3 full with water and a short downstem that reaches just below the water surface might give a similar action like the 250 ml 🤔
