Repairing a Broken Flowerpot Ball Vape

Hello guys,

I don't know what to do anymore, so I have to ask you for help and tips.

I have a Flowerpot B0 injection ball vape, and from one day to the next, it just stopped working. The display on the controller turns on, but the nail doesn't heat up anymore. The display only shows the current temperature, no matter what I set with the arrows.

I thought I could repair it myself, so I bought an XMT 7200 PID with a built-in SSR (because that’s what I read from the old PID) from AliExpress. Now I’ve received the new one, wired it, and the error is still the same—the nail doesn’t heat up.

Any ideas on what I can do or what might be wrong? Could the nail be damaged?

I also attached some screenshots of the old and new PID, including the manual and my wiring. Maybe that helps.

Thank you all in advance!

There's lots of cheap ones on ali
I got one delivered for less than £20

You don't need to worry about the rotation of the coil for the b0
You just need to check to make sure it's wired correctly for newvape/cannabis hardware/auber/disorderly conduct/710 coils ... ( Pin 1 is AC live line, pin 2 is AC zero line, pin 3 is temp positive, then 4 is temp negative and pin 5 is ground )

Update:
I have a new coil now but nothing has changed. Still the same problem, that the display works, but the coil just doesnt heat up.
I tried to use my multimeter with the sound function and checked each of the connections, but I cannot find the problem.

What else could be the reason for it? Could I somehow use the multimeter to measure the output electricity? I have no idea what to check anymore.

Thank you already in advance!

That's thrown me too, I wish I had more to help
I'm wondering if the original coil has become a killer and killed both PIDs but that's unlikely

Does the LED on the front of the PID blink or stay on when the temp is set?

You should be able to use your multi meter to determine if the SSR is outputting voltage, check the + and - terminals on the XLR, if it is outputting the voltage your issue is probably the coil.
