Super happy to share and I hope you find it offers you a way to eke out a different profile from the Nado like it has for me. I often load 3/4 bowls like you for maintenance dosing and it works nicely in that context like most heat sources, I find completely soaking the head like this makes it really easy to cash fully loaded bowls in one draw, pretty effortless to take them as a dark as you can go without pyrolysis, which is something a half charged wand or other tools I've tried can sometimes struggle with (extra time drawing on the nado is sometimes required to go that dark with a weaker heat source). This can be nice after dark and often stops me from feeling like I want to turn on a baller which is nice.
Because the flame is so large there is little to no hand technique involved in heating vs a smaller flame, which is nice... the one (and big) caveat being timing: 1-1.5 secs longer heating is the difference between a light caramel and riding the pyrolysis line. Please don't be put off by this though, most anyone would have things perfectly dialled after a day of use and an experienced head like yourself will very likely have everything perfectly dialled in by the third or fourth bowl I reckon.
When my pain is bad I have a longer heat up bowl with a jacked triple flame (max out conduction, very like you've described above) for a little extra sedation, (might be 20% more sedating for me? but I likely have a weird brain).. as you say less terps and more of a roasted taste but I don't mind it at all, certainly a lot smoother rip than an equivalent bowl size with other devices with that much conduction in the mix. Follow it up soon afterwards with a flash heated bowl of your terpiest indica and the mouthfeel transforms from roast to lip smacking from the hybrid hit. For weight of material loaded vs effect, the Tiodw Plus/T360 deliver the most sedation/insomnia relief I've found so far.. but they're much harder on my lungs without a big rig/cooling path so I opt for the nado almost all the time.
This is the exact torch I use mostly, (I've a brass one like the first link packed in with my camping kit) lots of good reviews and chefs on youtube seem to rec it for searing steaks and getting a char on veggies without a wok burner so it might be the most reliable option given chefs are heavy torch users? Pretty confident it's a mass produced and heavily rebranded item (where it says funowlet on the head mine reads "torch" and it was purchased from that exact listing with funowlet label)

On the butane cans from the market, it's very likely you'll find some at a good price there

BUT please please do check that the cans you pick up have a safety feature which will be listed on the can.. its called CRV here and RVR + TSV elsewhere. This feature makes it a lot harder to blow your hand off (we're likely pretty much at max available gas flow rate running these torches). They should still be very, very cheap with the feature vs without and the peace of mind knowing you're torch hand will likely still be attached to your arm for some years to come adds a little something to the insomnia relief of my heaviest indicas personally
One other thing, if it is a big outdoor market with mountains of different sellers like we have here take your nado head (no WPA part) with you along with a o ring or two if you fancy trying a very inexpensive long wide bore stem. One o ring and a twist and firm push down firmly seals the nado head onto an inexpensive 10 inch wide bore SS and a Ti smoothie straw that I've tried it on, it's nice having extra stem options lying around on the cheap. I'm keen to try it on a 10 or 12 inch glass straw for flavour town but I haven't been able to find one locally just yet.
