Any opinions on the straight fab vs torus Klein recycler? The recycler is out of stock currently.
I asked them about the recycler. He said it never would function very well so I would not expect that one to come back into stock. At least not as it's described right now. The other one is an improvement over the stock glass piece if you ask me..

I never met an incycler that did, the incycle part usually just acts as a splash guard and just makes the glass hard to clean.:2c:
I have been using the whip adapter but using glass mouthpieces on the 14mm female joint instead of the whip, very versatile and worth getting for the less than 20 buck ask.
This adapter allows you to use any hydrafoot type water piece on the Pockety.

what is a hydrafoot type water piece?
The hydrafoot is a post that the following type of waterpiece can rest on when not on a vape,
I have used the mouthpiece from a few different bongs and sources dry.
I am going to try this next (with a glass on glass adapter of course)...it is a pain to clean though,

Edit, plenty of options,

The incycler design did not work so he never put it up for sale
The fab let's you take larger draws than the stock
I use the whip adaptor - either dry with an MP like @LesPlenty mentioned or with a bubbler for one hit dabs
@LesPlenty, what kinds of glass mouthpieces have you tried?

also, what is a hydrafoot type water piece?
I use the gog as an MP or I also have an MP from an old longmada on the gog with orings

I also use just an adaptor with an MP in the whip adaptor and hit it dry

Hydrotubes I see Les posted above

Had a couple people inbox me here and on other platforms asking what glass MP I am using in these videos
So I thought I'd share the links here

I'm just using the jcvap whip adaptor -
and then a 14/14 m/m gog with an old longmada crystal MP I had and some orings to make it seat
I am using this gog now as it is nicer and the ring in the middle seems to help with smoothing the hit
Good for travel too, if you take stronger draws the extra airflow helps cool the hit and you can get bigger hits without it being harsh and cougherous, but the thermocouple temp sensor keeps the pockety dish at the correct temp to keep vaporising your dab at the same time

AU $12.22 | Glass adapter 45degree,Distilling Head Standard Ground Mouth.Used for distillation unit

Orings are 18mm OD and 4mm CS

AU $0.89 35%OFF | 10pcs Thickness 2/2.4/3/4mm White Rubber Seal Ring OD 5-80mm Heat-Resistant Food Grade Silicone O-Ring

And this is similar to the MP
There's two styles there
The normal option is probably best

Currently I'm using the Pockety with the whip for 95% of the time. I found out that the base is prone to tipping over or to the side if you don't pay attention all the time (I don't do).
So I decided to build a frame that holds the device properly.
I will not win a design award for it, but it does it's job perfectly.
I just used some wood pieces I had around, some glue and a rubber band from an old notebook charger.
How do you hold your Pockety in place?

That's pretty cool
Nice idea
I did find with the whip if at the wrong angle it can be tippy
I had just rotated the whip in the adaptor and turned the pockety to the side and it found its stable place
Yours is much more stoner fool proof though 🙂

Like the product, but do not recommend the company. Made an order late December including extra glass that was never sent. Asked for the missing item or a refund via email and I was told it would he taken care of. It wasn't.

Customer service seems to have blocked my email account now. Persuimg a credit card charge back this week after allowing for every opportunity for the company to make this right. I also allowed them months of leeway before bringing my concern here or going for a charge back. Very shady practices IMO.

Final verdict, I do not recommend this company to anyone. Buyer beware. I have been buying vaporizers for 15 years and this is by far the worst experience I have had with a manufacturer.

Just to back up what @IAmKrazy2 said, I was also able to place an order for the klien recycler for the Pockety. It was listed on the site until John found issues with it, it was available to order for sure as I have a reciept for the one I purchased. A couple weeks later I got an email saying the klien doesn’t work and substituted the straight fab (that never arrived but was eventually resolved with John via IG after getting ghosted in emails and site help).

So just because someone didn’t see it, doesn’t mean it was never there.

Thank you for your feedback. Sounds like the exact same thing that happened to me, but you did reach out via IG instead of going for the chargeback. Sounds like that at a minimum of twice they have done this.

As I said previously, I gave every bit of opportunity for the seller to resolve before coming here with my concerns. Because I am approaching 90 days messaging on IG is really not an option...doubt the CC company could even use IG messages to support my case.

In the 15 plus years I have been buying vapes this is the first time I have ever had to go the chargeback route. I like the product, but won't support a manufacturer who ghosts you when they are aware of an issue like this.

Anyone know the difference between the 5d heating chamber vs the ICA 3D chamber and which one would be better for the peak pro/luxo erigs?
Puffcos 3d heaters are really 2d as they only do walls
The "5d" are really 3d as they do floor and walls , but because puffco already called theirs 3d jcvap called theirs 5d

So 5d is meant to produce thicker clouds on the pockety from the feedback I've seen from members here and elsewhere
There are some owners of both units here who can probably reply with better/more accurate information as to the characteristics/differences

I have been following along here for a while but was struggling to make the leap and purchase a pockety. I noticed that they have started offering 20% off for 420 and this stacks with the 15% code so combined there is currently 35% off.

This brought down the price of the quartz unit to roughly £121.00 with free shipping (although, I did end up paying around £6 in FX fees, so total cost was £127) and I decided to grab one this morning. Seeing as this is under the £135 customs duty limit, I will not have to pay any taxes on this when it gets here, so that is an added saving.

I plan to upgrade to an ALN insert in the future and will probably grab the straight fab water piece at the same time.

Just FYI, you will still be expected to pay VAT I believe.
VAT is charged on all goods (except for gifts worth £39 or less) sent from:

  • outside the UK to Great Britain
  • outside the UK and the EU to Northern Ireland
VAT is not charged on goods that are gifts worth £39 or less.

You pay VAT when you buy the goods or to the delivery company before you receive them. If you have to pay VAT to the delivery company, it’s charged on the total package value, including:

  • the value of the goods
  • postage, packaging and insurance
  • any duty you owe
VAT is charged at the VAT rate that applies to your goods.

I think the wording of that can be confusing sometimes, it says,

'You will not have to pay anything to the delivery company to receive goods worth less than £135 unless they’re gifts over £39 or excise goods (for example, alcohol and tobacco).'

I know when I got my straight fab from calibear I was not charged any additional charges for importing to the UK and I followed the same advice, to keep it below £135.

I will keep an eye on it and update everyone once it arrives.

When you go to upgrade your dish/insert I recommend grabbing the ruby over the AlN
I have both and the ruby is the only one I use now
Wins hands down for me (aln is good, but no ruby)

Just an FYI to all on this I received my chargeback, and the manufacturer did not fight the chargeback.

still will not personally recommend this manufacturer.. To go radio silent when i have not received what i paid for (when they were CLEARLY aware) is unacceptable. I hated having to go the chargeback route, something I don't believe I have ever had to do before on any product. But, in the end I got my funds back without a dispute from the manufacturer.

cheers all - and happy vaping.

Somehow this has popped back up on my VAS radar! I'm curious as to the vape path... what is it?

Also in light of some recent CS issues, what happens when something happens with the pockety? Ship back to where? Are these coming from China or? Support is just as important as the product to me. I'm hoping the above scenario was just a one off.

There is a glass pipe between the atty and bong that has silicon seals at each end.

The maker is a small outfit in China and there has been some trouble with a couple of users problems getting lost between his own sites message board and any Insta shitshow site he uses. Problems are usually worked out...eventually. I had a small problem and that was remedied straight away so that is my 1st hand CS interaction...all good.
The ruby insert works great, I don't even look at my Puffco Peak Pro anymore and the Pockety was just supposed to be my PPP backup but it is now the other way around. Attys are interchangeable but I prefer the full 360 heating of the Pockety over the PPP and the onboard temp presets and adjustments with NO APP!

Just wanted to add, as I’ve pulled out the device again to rip some more- it’s reset two more times in the last week. This doesn’t REALLY affect me, but I’d like to not have a sort of mental running tab for the device and have the counter actually mean something.
