I tried to find it in this thread, but it was taking too long to search so I googled it.

Found this @ https://www.vaporizerwizard.com/reviews/vaporizers/portable/xmax-v3-pro/
Don’t know what they charged it from maybe a IPad or a treadmill generator with a 3 legged hamster running on it. :rofl:I’m not saying it does, don’t know, just read it.

“During testing the average time to fully charge a dead battery is around 5 hours. Yes, you read that right. It takes 5 hours to fully charge a dead battery in the XMAX V3 Pro vaporizer. It’s not uncommon for replaceable battery systems to take this long to charge but I was hoping for something a little faster with the included USB-C charging. With that said, if you are a heavier user or you think you’ll be using it for more than a handful of bowls in a day’s time, I highly recommend picking up an external battery charger so you can charge multiple batteries outside of the vaporizer and quicker.”
VaporizerWizard is a reviewer I trust, so if he said it's 5 hours, it's 5 hours! Although I rarely vape until the battery is fully depleted, I usually put them under recharge when they hit 3.4-3.5v (2 bars left) and 3 hours is the average charging time under these conditions. I just said it's better to recharge in the device cause this is means less money to spend and cause some peoples mentionned too much removals may damage (slightly) the battery wrap. It was not against you @Petetbay , personnaly I have an external charger but, imho, it's not a "must to have" equipment when reaching at the V3Pro as your first vape (yes, I know it's not your first vape!) but I appreciate your inputs and i like to discuss with you too, have fun!

I always charge my V3 Pro battery internally. I use an auto switching timer. I routinely set the timer for 2 hours and 30 minutes so I don't leave things charging if I forget about them. I have never seen the V3Pro battery register anything but fully charged when I turn it on after charging for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

No I haven't put the battery in an external charger after charging internally so I don't know if it would take more charge, but it seems unlikely that it would require an additional 2 hours and 30 minutes of charging.

EDIT: Forgot to add that I usually only charge the battery when it looks like it's below 20%, although there is no actual "guage" to indicate % of charge remaining.

Hi guys, anyone had this magnet piece start to come out when it gets warm? Not sure how to glue it back with some kind of non harm glue for heat..? Tnx

Yup and haven’t got around to fixing with glue yet, I had backup replacement mp’s, but the real fix is the accessory glass mp and glass wpa don’t have that problem because the magnets are hidden behind plastic or silicone cover. I was hoping my Elmers non-toxic glass/china glue might work, but haven’t tried it yet. Hopefully Xmax learnt their lesson on this design and won’t use it again though they don’t seem to want to update the devices they are still producing, maybe the V4Pro. 🐼

I’ve used it on glass and works good, is non-toxic dishwasher safe, whether it will work on metal and plastic that I don’t know, sorry. I need to get my act together and try it out, you need to align the polarities of the magnets for strongest attraction as well.

edit: I found one and glued it, we’ll see how it goes takes 2 days to set, week full strength.

so if he said it's 5 hours, it's 5 hours!
I tested on my USB charger internally in the V3 from near empty cell, 3hrs 40min to full, same USB-C cable and charger does my Rogue internal 3000mah battery to full in 1 hr 20min. So pretty slow on the ma for the V3 charge controller, guess that’s how you can make it cheap.

Hey guys.
Just got my v3 pro, and getting the hang of it.
Mine vibrates relatively loud.

But I can shake it a little and the vibrations gets a little quieter, until the vibration unit (?) has moved enough to make a rattly noise again.
Is it suppose to be kinda noisey?

Mine is a light buzz, not very loud.

I've been down this road. The best solution is to buy a new mouthpiece.

The mouthpiece is a consumable part that needs to be replaced from time to time. Soaking in ISO tends to loosen the magnets.

My first mouthpiece didn't last, but the replacements have fared better. For cleaning, I disassemble, soak the inner-tube and filter; the outside housing is just wiped down. The magnets will get loose and fall out. When that happens, it is time to replace.

Yes, but not the same bad magnet one, the glass mp or glass wpa mp and never have the problem again 100%. Bought my backup mp for $10 each before the accessory glass mp’s were available even though never used as stock. :2c: You can buy the OG mp plastic and magnets alone for $5 as a cheap option.

That is an even better solution. I did not know that the mouthpiece housing was available as a separate item.

When my original mouthpiece broke, I bought two replacements; that was six months ago. No magnet problems so far.

Yes, you can glue it back, non-toxic glue is better for sure, be carefull to check the polarity cause, if inverted, the magnet will repulse and doesn't attract anymore!

Yes that's a true upgrade and the base fit several sorts of mouthpiece (810 drip tips, BB9, 14mm stems,...). We collected customers feedbacks, even did already some improvements but, yes, the V4Pro (maybe...) will be the improved V3Pro you are waiting for, we are manufacturing thousands of devices and some modifications are more complex to apply than others without to change the retail price, stay tuned!

Thank you for confirming my thoughts, I was surprised about the 5 hours, we can say it's 4 hours from empty to fully charged, great!

Hi, I'm the Topgreen/Xmax Company Rep and I'm glad you got a V3Pro and you seems happy. I noticed the vibration to be slightly different from a unit to another, I can't say why but I'll ask to the engineer and will reply later...

Oh yes, the plastic cover mouthpiece was available as a separate item since launch... like the ceramic maze, silicone holder and metal filter, have fun!

I found out why… It was the dosing capsule making a rattling noise! When I use the chamber directly, there’s a normal, quiet noise! So it’s all good to me, I know this will be the same with any unit.

I have the v3 for a month or so and I have to say, I really like it. I have a great unit so far, but I use it a little diferent from the rest of you. I pack it tight and full, the first 2 puffs little to no vapor but the rest it's a beast of vapor. I try it with some fresh trim sugar leafs and I still got high AF, I even try it with some ungrinde not fully dry greens and it performs great. The ABV it's always dark brown. I have to congratulate your team #XMAXVAPORIZER great job you all made with this vaporizer. Looking forward to see a dry herb desktop vaporizer and a V4 from your company. Fiquem bem

This is one area where the popularity of the V3 Pro makes it stand head and shoulders over the Fog Pro; there is no problem finding consumable replacement parts.

It is great that there are replacement mouthpieces that are not expensive, but to find that housing is available as a separate item shows the diversity of available. From the back battery cover to individual screens and filters, every part that can break or be lost, is available.

While I really like the Fog Pro, a year later the unit is showing wear. All that wear could be 'renewed' by a new silicone seal, or with a new top and mouthpiece, but parts for the Fog Pro are limited. When a vape is used daily, there will be normal wear and tear. This is where the V3 Pro shines; parts are available.

Both are decent convection vapes, both can produce some decent flavour, and both are presently around $100 CAD. The big difference is availability of 'parts'.

Just checked mine today. Hooked up on the laptop it took 3 hours 25 minutes to fully charge!

Bought mine at 420 sales and payed 65 euro... Which is almost ridiculously cheap.
Also a very happy user, bought it mainly for on the go portabality, speedy extraction when needed and stealth. It does all this even better than i was hoping.

Good to know! Haven't had any probems yet but always nice to know spare parts are available!

One thing that i miss for this device is a protective cap that seals off both the airintakes and the mp. Something like a silicone sleeve would do perfectly imo. That would make it so much easier to carry around in a pocket. Now i only take it in a sunglasses baggy but wish it had that feature covered (pun intended).

The silicone wpa works good for mp after plugging the hole and I use a 1.25 inch silicone band to cover the air holes, mine was cut from the Go silicone wpa, but there many sources of tubing that fit. Would be nice to have a cover like the Healthy Rips devices have, but sometimes there are easy solutions.

Thank you for sharing a such good feedback! Yes, I transmitted the wish for a sleeve/protective cap or anything else in order to be able to put the vape directly in the pocket, I don't know when it will be released although.

Yes I remenber somebody posted that trick, we expect to be able to offer a best looking solution soon...

Thank you for your inputs, have fun!
