Now I regret not giving a review on the site. I'm lazy :|

The beta looks great! My VAS is back
Still time to leave a review? Atleast thats how im reading that sentence.

.
@Brenyo Your visualization and engineering skills are off the chart. Mind blown!

That system with the dimples and groove looks really ingenious.

I got very lucky when i contacted Brenyo at the perfect moment in time (and space) and managed to get my hands on a beta-unit!
Being a big fan of the first generation i kinda thought there was little that could be done to make it any better.

Well, MADheaters made my jaw drop once again: they did an amazing job and really took every remark or issue they ran into serious.

And, equally important: while the stem got great reviews they took nothing for granted and were very critical in evaluating their own product. It shows they really went all-in to take an already great stem to a next level. Brenyo has a passion and aims for perfection and that shows when one looks closely at the impressive engineering required to design something this complex and precise.

The cooling unit is absolutely gorgeous! Looks better and so much easier to clean, the smoothness of the spiral is unseen!
The ring offers more grip, the markings are more clear: both visual as tactile. Satisfying how the parts click together perfectly smooth. Overall it feels even more solid then before: this is a serious device!
Seriously serious!!!

Next to all those design-changes there is oc also the machining and the finish.
One thing is sure: the machinists upped their game... Bigtime!!!
They building up experience in stem making on one hand but i'm sure they are on their best behaviour when Brenyo places an order.

:whip::brow:

Anyhow: whatever it was, it paid off!
Was (and still am) impressed with the machining on gen 1 but the difference is night and day!
As of now they are in a league of their own! Simple as that!
The tolerances on this stem are truly insane, amazing how everything fits like a Gucci-glove.
The finish? How is the machining compared to before?
Well, the difference is mindblowing. It's smooth as a babies bottom!

I hardly noticed the imperfections on the fins of gen 1 anymore. Reckoned some machining lines were normal, hard to avoid... Same for the sharp edges on some of the fins.. Never bothered me.
But the machinists clearly upped their game and the result is nothing but amazing: Everything is smooth, shiny and flawless! The stem feels smooth as butter, the (bigger) fins, the top end of the stem, the airport... it's all machined and polished to perfection!

And how does it hit? Simple: it hits like you want it to hit!
With all these feaures and settings you'll find a way for it to hit for every occasion and every preference. From direct and hot hits to ultra-smooth and cucumber-cool: it's all there! Packed in this little gorgeous stem!

There are some issues left (as this is a beta unit, generation 1.5) that will be addressed in the production model and some more features will be added (like with the direct airflow tube, as stated before) but it's crystal clear that Revolve 2.0 will be nothing but an impressive stem!
MADheaters is doing it again!!
They don't just raise the bar: first they upgrade the bar and then they raise it!!

:clap::clap::clap:

I totally need two of the updated stems but it's hard to keep up with the thread
Best to just keep checking the madheaters site and try to nab them there? August ish?

Now because of the spiral change I might need to pause a project of mine : I wanted some kind of silicon thingy to scrape all the reclaim out of the spiral cooler.

I guess the new profile might just make the job easier without a special tool

I was actually looking for something similar. At first i used my fingertips to rub the spiral and 'cleaned' them in some ginded flower but it was hard to get everything out like that. Then i bought some vape-wool and started using that to rub around and push thru the spiral! Works quite well, you end up with a sticky reclaim ball!
But with the new one i guess i could just go back to rubbing it with my fingertips since it is so much easier without the 'nooks and crannies' (are these words or did i made them up?).

Awesome mini-review, thanks :D

Question for all the beta-testers (if they're allowed to answer ofcourse, and I'd completely understand if yall keep it under the wraps a bit longer) ... Hows the new screen? Does it hold back more icky stuff? And does the clean reclaim run down faster along the new spiral?

Also ..
I saw this comparison picture of the tubes on discord, https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/968711262592704532/987816752190750812/20220618_151432.jpg
Really loved how you changed the hole for the vaporpath to a more V shape instead of a U shape, to allow for even more precision when dialing in the preferred draw resistance. Got me thinking ... Would it perhaps be a nice idea to also do that on the smaller end of fresh-air-hole in the spiral? To have that lower part of the lock-cilinder-shape end in a slightly more angled point?

The fresh air slot will be MUCH thinner on the gen 2 release version, it's already smaller on the beta, so this is not necessary anymore. It will be way easier to adjust precisely. The DRC hole is also changing again, you can see the MTL option on the previous page here

So I was fortunate enough to get a wonderful treat in the mail!

Huge shout out to Mad Heaters for the chance to try out the 1.5. So these are my thoughts so far looking at the new design and use.

1. Tasty - really terpy smooth hit from the first try. I think the addition of the intercooler has taken the Revolve up a notch if that was possible in cooling

2. Tactile - the indent on the back is perfect for rocking and the upgrade to the symbols used to designate the airflow options feels much clearer, though im still trying to distinguish them.

3. Design - the weight of it feels much more appropriate, the smoothed fins are a great aesthetic choice.

- I will note that my old Ti tip was really tough to insert compared to the '21 version, to the point I'm worried I shredded some of the tips O rings in the attempt.

4. Spins - Mouthpiece spins super freely much more than the previous model. For those who unlike me have greater finger dexterity than an arthritic sloth, perfect upgrade. I'm still happy with my IH 😂.

5. Finish - I'm a sucker for the matte products, but there is something very appealing about the shinier finish.

I am concerned it will look like a CSI crime scene with a week of use and my oily pads all over it but I Will only be able to confirm that with more use.

That's all for now! Looking foreward to hearing everyone else's thoughts!

Pumped! Left a review maybe I'll get lucky. Love the v1. The two new features I'm most excited about are the improved body/fins (hoping it will stay a little cooler for back to back hits) and that new reclaim screen design. Love the reclaim screen but it is a bit finicky to get it inserted properly.

Are these sold through any US retailers? All stems are sold out on the madheaters site, so maybe the world is telling me to wait for gen 2.

Really liking the Revolve 1.5

Sunset be like smooth and tasty!

This setup might be minimal but make no mistake: it's all there!
And even better: these things are build for eternity (except the torch) so they are here to stay, any way the wind blows!!
(Got that right, mtfrs! Here. For. Eternity. They will easily outlive me... 'From my dead, cold hands' and all that!!!)

The finish is mirrorlike and makes the stem almost behave like a chameleon: it takes on the colors of it's surroundings.

I'll try to post a little 'performance' comparison one of the days.
I'll put the same tip on both generations and use the same cap, same weed and will try to use simular amount, heating, settings... whenever i have a session from now on.
The sharp pencils amongst us already understand that this means i will have to double-medicate (for science) so hopefully i will have the strength and willpower to make some notes in real time to avoid blackouts and shady assessments...

Fan-tas-tic. Just how I like it. I call my current airport setting the needle setting, and even a thin needle doesn't really fit through.

I was wondering about this btw ... Is it just you there in England, doing all the sending, receiving, QC, etc? Or has the time (long past) come for you to hire or call in some help? Hope you're using these next few days off (at least, according to the MH site ..) to relax, and that you won't see this nor respond to it till after ;)

I filed down a few bamboo chopsticks as some scrapers. Takes 10 mins, but can recommend. That vapewool solution sounds rly smart tho, gotta try that sometime.

Yeah it's just me for now :) I hope that the US retailers will help a lot with the daily postage and CS so I have more time for development.

I love the work so all good, but it's nice to take some time off, thanks! :D
