Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

androponic

vaped.
I've seen a few photos of other people's B-zeros looking all dope and purple. Mine seems to just be turning brown/gold... Temp wise I jump back and forth between 580F and 630F on the auber. Do I need to run it higher to get some cooler colors or will that just come with time?

Thanks
If you google titanium heat anodizing color chart, you will see purple to blue is 800F-1000F

Have you heard about the boom on Mizar 5?

I've seen people jam the temp up or use a torch to force the color change but personally I would just let it change over time.

Yeah. It'll happen over time. It will happen more slowly if you stick to lower temps, and faster if you are a higher temp kinda person. Either way, it will get there naturally (the best way, in my opinion).

Mine first started out yellow, then gold, then got to a bronze before going toward purple. Then it started going toward blue and then brighter blue. That's where mine is at now, about 60% blue, with some purple left on the extremities. That color change has taken a little over two years of regular use.

I dunno, maybe it's silly, but I take much more pride in the color change if I have the patience to allow it to happen naturally with use over time. I earned those colors, ya know?

I agree and eventually it turns silver again and never coloured after that so enjoy the ride. my Vrod is a year old and only turning gold now, I don't go above 575 so it is going to take some time.

My usual flower every-day temp is 666F, but I sometimes go as low as 580F if I'm in the mood for a longer more drawn-out slow session.

Sometimes I go as high as 710F for concentrate-only dabbing with no flower at all in the bowl.

am looking at my 1st desktop vape.
the only local supplier of the flowerpot just got it in stock, and it's the weedeater/Vrod versions.
i emailed them to ask about new stock - the B ones - no response yet, and i don't expect them to be overly excited when they have a shipment to sell.
i suppose the question is: is the difference worth waiting for? i do not consume concentrates, but would get the Vrod for keeping future options open.

You can achieve similar hits with the weedeater/Vrod if you always use a carb cap, it is worth going with the ball vapes just to free yourself from the carb cap, that was the biggest change for me.

I've been playing with my new FP Pro. Not getting the flavor I was hoping for, and having some issues given that there is no instruction manual. I've been running it at 610 but not sure what the ideal temperature is for double-deckers and would love some advice. Also, in looking at other glass options, this device is unique in that the 18mm female joint is on the bottom (https://www.cannabishardware.com/pr...le-perc-glass-rig?_pos=1&_sid=c344095c5&_ss=r). Can anyone tell me what kind/style of glass this is so that I can look for potential replacements or alternatives? I've looked at many sites, but not found one like it and am thinking I need specific terminology. Any help is always appreciated.

That's a hydratube or hydra tube
And sometimes known as bubbler mouthpieces but be sure to check the joint size as they're usually a smaller joint size

I typically run my FPP between 645-655 and giving it a good 8-10 minutes after it comes up to temp makes a huge difference vs trying to rip it quick after it gets there initially. Switching out some of the included 4mm rubies for 3mm and adding a dish (mine was ordered without one) made lower temps more effective, no surprise there.

And yeah hydra tube is the style I just wish there was better selection although there are a few dhgate options.

Thanks for stating this. I have a B0 on the way to add to my VROD and I was concerned to realize it doesn’t fit the carb cap (at least not officially?)

Happy to learn it’s not needed with the ball vapes as I was having buyers remorse about not going with the B1 for Carb Cap support.

I chatted with Chris from CH today. He suggested that I microdose at 625 for better flavor. I was filling the bowl up about 90% based on what I thought I saw in the owner's video on the website, but he indicated that just enough to cover the screen is his suggestion. Hoping to get better flavor. I originally bought it as an endgame, hoping it would outperform my Herborizer, Qaroma/Ceroma, etc. but Herborizer has still remained king of flavor in my opinion, with Qaroma probably number two amongst my desktop devices. I'm hoping that some of the adjustments Chris suggested will yield a better experience. I don't love the hydratube. It's a bitch to clean (though I suspect anything that drains from the bottom would be) and I still have to hunch over a bit in order to hit it when I have it on my work table. I have (and will continue) to experiment with the whip as well, and I think I might try the hydratube without water to check terps. Thanks for the response.

re: cleaning I just pour a little iso & rock salt, plug both ends with my fingers and shake hard for like 15 seconds, clean as a whistle and takes no time at all if you do it somewhat regularly. Cleaning that internal airpath however I anticipate being a little more involved, I've been avoiding it thus far 🙃

Got a B0 for black friday. I got the cheaper PID, CH branded, and run it at 630F. 4mm rubies, really easy draw resistance. Using a glass-screen Elev8r bowl and a metal screen Elev8r bowl. The injector seems closer to the load on the glass-screen version but the temp seems right for both. Hits like a truck. My buddy who smokes cannabis a lot said he thinks it hits TOO hard.

Only mistake I made was not asking to swap out the metal stand for a shovelhead bowl. The stand is OK but I could have easily used a coffee mug instead.

I came from a G43 that I used everyday, for a couple years! And I must admit that the B0 is a whole other level. I still use the G a few times a week and it is fantastic, but the B0 is King of my collection! Worth the money and I'm a major cheapskate!

Ordered a B-0 bundle last night and just in time as they look to be sold out now, cant wait to try this thing. Got back into vaping about 6 months ago after taking over a year off all MMJ, got a Mighty+ which I love for its reliability and ease of use but as my tolerance has gone up im finding myself not fully satisfied after a session. flavor doesn't matter too much I'm just looking for a quick and efficient punch to the head, hoping the B-0 is gonna deliver. If anyone has any recommendations on a solid bubbler that will pair well with the B-0 it would be appreciated. All my previous vapes have been portables (Cera-Pinnacle-Flashvape) so I'm excited to ad a heavy hitter to my rotation.

Anyone tried moonrocks with the B1 (and what temps should I use)?

Was thinking of putting a mesh screen in this for it:

I have that same bowl from VGoodiez. No recommendation for temps but I absolutely recommend a mesh screen if you use a fine grind. 3/4 inch screens fit snugly and prevent any spillage / leakage of herb. It will require a bit of extra brushing to clean.

Enjoy your B1 ! My B0 packs quite a punch

I use a Chill Pipe but I have baby lungs. The Sneaky Pete Mega Cube is great for some whip action with friends.

What is the smallest reasonable load to use in a b1? Can it handle .05-.1 without issue?
on the shovelhead with the injector smallest amount I can realistically do is about 0.1. Getting the @VGOODIEZ glass bowl tomorrow so will play around microdosing on that.

Hi,

What the difference between the old heat post and the new one that is compatible with the B1/2 injector head ?
I want just to know if I have to change mine (buy two years ago with the vrod) if I upgrade to the injector head.
What the best bowl with arm for the injector head ? The herborizer work fine ? (I have two from my Ti)
@VGOODIEZ glass bowl with the little handle is getting a lot of good reviews

The dimensions are perfect (depth of bowl, jangle size) but I wish the airflow was a bit more open

Probably a tight line to walk between airflow and having to add a metal screen

It does work well with about half the material of my shovel head bowl

I saw that and ordered a couple, I got the regular 14mm hoping this is the right size, my B0 should be here in 3-4 days. This is my first desktop and also first time vaping through a bubbler so still figuring out all 14mm vs 18mm stuff.
