never touch a cold tool to it it could crack, there are lots of 510 heated dab tools these days
Yeah, I am going to need to do my research on care of these sapphire dishes. I know Troy cracked his, but he puts his gear through a lot and seems he had a brain fart and added cool cleaning liquid to a hot dish and bye-bye sapphire.

I'm also gonna have to figure out how to get that darn nut off my B2 to swap out dishes without damaging the SIC dish. Last I tried, it was on reallll tight. FIrst step, iso soak...

Also: SHOUT OUT to CH customer support! I didn't need the debowler or heat post that comes with the 5" stand and they were able to make that happen so I wasn't paying for things that I didn't need. And so quickly on 4/20 of all days! Bravo!!

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what

according to troy just soaking it in warm dark crystal and everything just peels off. wish my frosted quartz was that easy but im quite happy with my own cleaning method. to be extra careful with the sapphire you could pre warm the dish by putting it in a measuring cup or something run it und hot water in the sink, it starts cold and warms up obviously I'm sure I don't have to tell you, what till the water starts to warm up, let it soak in the heat for a min, pour off water, and warm DC bing bang boom!

My step son surprised me with a Studenglass this weekend. It paired well with my hot rod. My B2 showed up today. 650, very slight draw assist. 2 hits. I’ve never been so elevated. I would have never paid for the SG, but these things really do well. I can see my material lasting a lot longer because the B2 hits are so intense. Troy says it’s like a dab and I am inclined to agree.

I keep looking hard at Studenglass but haven't come across many users on FC, so wasn't sure how well it would do with vapes. Still pricey, but they are running deal on those today ($420 down from MSRP of $600) BTW.

But I cannot spend any more money today!

What is the smallest reasonable load to use in a b1? Can it handle .05-.1 without issue?
Depends on your bowl. If you are using an injector style, maybe look into the microdosing bowl that Herborizer sells or @VGOODIEZ version (which may just be made up of some fairly common parts.

But I don't weigh out my flower so not sure just how small that amount is.

In regards to the Sapphire plate on a V-ROD, I know it is susceptible to thermal shock. I want to know how I should be capping the dab in this scenario. Is using a room temperature Carb Cap (the Universal one provided by CannabisHardware) a risk to breaking the dish? I did purchase a heated dab tool as generally recommended.

I searched quite exhaustively online and couldn't find an answer. This leads me to believe I am over analyzing the situation and I do not need to pre-heat my Carb Cap. If I do need to, how should I go about it?

Thanks in advance for any insight into this quandary.

Maybe look at the shorter Qaroma bowl (they offer a taller and a shorter one)?
I have the taller Q bowl, when they released the shorter one, I was able to confirm that it is identical in size to the Elev8r bowl which I already own.

I thinking of buying a b1 head... I have the flowerpot which was before vrod... Are the Accessoires compatible with the b1, especially the Bowl, the Controller and the coil?
I have this Bowl https://images.app.goo.gl/kqYUhn7aZfGS5ScZ7

IS IT the b1 really such an Upgrade?
Yeah, the heads compatible with what you have if you've been using a VROD. Don't forget you'll also need some balls of your choosing to fill it with.

Coming from the original VROD, especially if you're capping it, I'd argue that the B1 is a nice upgrade.

My order made last week showed up as “NEW VAPE XXX-XXX-XXXX FL” on my statement. I believe the X’s are a phone number, not an order number, but for privacy reasons I chose to omit them.

Hey friends. I'm new here. Looks like Vaporents subreddit could be at risk of collapse. I'm considering ordering the FlowerPot B1 Essentials Bundle. Can anyone give me a sense of time to heat from cold to ready? Thanks in advance.
I'll use my b2 after 5 min but feel better waiting 10. Many just leave it on when possible.

I timed mine once from cold to temperature, and that was about 5~ mins. It's best to let it sit another 5-10 minutes and heatsoak, so ideally around 15~ mins.

Also, welcome!

Like the two other users said it doesn't take long at all. It will produce vapor as soon as it gets to temp, but if you give it an extra 5 mins to heat up you'll be good to go. It takes wayyy longer to cool down than heat up.

Hi,

What the difference between the old heat post and the new one that is compatible with the B1/2 injector head ?
I want just to know if I have to change mine (buy two years ago with the vrod) if I upgrade to the injector head.
What the best bowl with arm for the injector head ? The herborizer work fine ? (I have two from my Ti)
