Just gonna be honest here. 4 months in, and I still really love just looking at them. Turning it in my hands, admiring it's looks.

I've had crushes on actual people that lasted a lot shorter.

Question though ... My glass bong will arrive shortly, along with a 14->10mm glass adapter (you know the ones, exactly like that). The adapter has this roughed up / sanded part on both the 14 and 10mm side. And I'm a bit afraid of it scratching up the revolve mouthpiece. Any of you have experience with that, and possibly a way to prevent it?

I use this on my glass pieces.

Hey team! I've been using my new Revolve the past few days and I've noticed it gets pretty hot towards the grooves near the tip. Too hot to even touch. Has anybody else noticed this? Are there any suggestions to avoid it? I've only begun to switch between SS and Ti tips, so haven't noticed if that has anything to do with it yet.

Peese!

Happens with mine and everyone else. It's designed that way

Ok, so U just hold it gingerly? It's only 40 degrees F here currently. I'm afraid what it'll be like in 80F. Anybody using it in warmer climes that I'm in now? Is it bearable?

Sorry I just want to make sure we're on the same page. Are we both talking about the bulb with the flutes at the top of the revolve where the DynaVap tip sits? Cuz that's the part I'm referring to.

I hold mine right on or above the mouth piece and it doesn't get hot at all.

Yep, we're on the same page. 10-4 on holding just above mouthpiece. I'll be mindful to do the same and hopefully find a comfortable grip. Thanks for the reply!!!

If you are in a hurry to cool it off you can roll it in your fingers as long as it isn't the hottest it can get. I have never gotten a burn from it but it can get pretty hot. As @KoopiKochie points out it never gets too hot to hold near the mouthpiece. I do usually cool it off a bit before handing it off, tho I don't tend to share my VCs much. I consider them personal vapes unless I am using them with glass.

Yeah. That's how I know it works, ie extracts heat from the vapor. Also gets hotter with the DRC airtube than with the direct one.

I hold mine between thumb and indexfinger, near the airport. No problems with heat here.

Thanks all! Makes sense when I think about it from the conductive/cooling aspect. Glad to know my unit is performing normally. Now back to enjoying the testing!

***EDIT***

Yep! Found that sweet spot thanks to you folks! Man I love this community, I don't know a single person in real life who vapes dry herb. I've figured out how to use several devices thanks to FC!

Peese all!

Normal
Well, that's not surprising. Using the DRC tube, the hot vapor goes around the condenser, exchanging heat with the body.

Using the direct tube, or simrell's condenser and mouth piece, the hot vapor goes into the condenser, never touching the body.

Is there a pre-order list for the Sense? Is this thread the best spot for updates and news on it?

This is the best thread for updates and there isn't a pre-order list yet. As of lately, there was talk that it might be available summer, but it's sounding more like end of year.

That moment when customs holds your Revolve order because they think it's some sort of firing pin mechanism. Customs in my country can sometimes be a nuisance to the nth degree.

Now I have to wait for then to send an email asking me wtf I ordered, and why it looks like gun parts, send them the madheaters page, explain the "aroma therapy"... This is my last VAS dyna order im done...

Good ol Israel the "holy" land

Update: Finally got the "wtf is this shit" message, called them, ~40 minute wait, then told me to email customs with a request to release and explanation.

Emailed them, got a mailbox is full email, #rejected.

Called back, another 30 minutes waiting, customs officer refuses to offer any information but says all I can do is send to the email they provided.

And now they turned around and said they are holding it on the grounds of illegal import. Fuck my life.
Med cannabis is legal there and rec is "decriminalized" so why would importing cannabis tools be illegal? I know nothing about Israeli law so it is not surprising that I wonder about this. Here is the US the pact act fucks with shipping, but they get away with it because cannabis is still illegal federally. I guess in Israel "decriminalized" doesn't mean legal.
Fuck them I say...

Honestly it's even weirder. I just got an order from Dynavap and I explained to them what the devices were and sent them a link. I don't understand what is so different this time that they are giving me grief

Can I ask a stupid question? I subbed to this thread because I was interested in MAD's temp controlled Vapcap heater, in a small form factor. Any updates on that product? I've looked through a bunch of pages here and can't find anything.

Their site says „Under development, expected release around the end of the year.“. I'm waiting myself, not because I want to purchase one, but because I'd love to see temperature control finally being a thing in the Dynaverse.

Thank you for answering my dumb question, lol. I am somewhat interested in a temp controlled vapcap experience. It would totally change that entire vape ecosystem. For me, at least.

As someone who is using temp controlled IHs for a while now I can assure you they do indeed move the whole experience to a totally new level. It's not only about convenience (not having to focus on clicks and cooldown clicks anymore, it's so easy to get into a flow that way), but also flavor wise; being able to savor a strain at low temps is a lot of fun. Being able to consistently stay away from combustion points while still being able to kill a bowl in one hit without having to think about it too.

So yeah, I'm totally looking forward to the Sense and what it will do in the Dynacommunity.
