I don't even own an Anvil yet, but I ordered the 420 bundle and the XL mouthpiece. I hesitated too long on the XL bowl. I was able to reach out to Vestratto though and have them hold it all in fulfillment until my name comes up to order an Anvil so it's one package, which was the outcome I was hoping for.

The wait will be even harder now.

Damn just finished work and missed out on the xl mouthpiece that i needed badly...was using the anvil threw a water piece because i can't use it native doing back to back bowls as it gets way to hot to handle with my big ass hands...used it outdoors and it was great but that's just taking a hit and then putting it in the case..the bowl is to small for me as well...think it's time to move on from the anvil it's just not for me the way it is with the short mouthpiece and the smaller bowl.

Errr…checking every hour but am in meeting from 12-2 est and now the xl’s are sold out?

This is some bullshit lol.

Are the cases in the 420 bundle green? Hard to tell if they match the cooling piece…might just be black?

And $5 off?

Edit: scrolling back it looks like the xl mouthpieces only survived for 30 minutes, gold shields too.

Cases are normal and won’t fit an xl mouthpiece but an extension may be coming.

Hmm…a solid meh by 2p

@The Stray Fox I think given the obvious inspiration, it would be appropriate to for you to demand that Futo call the tool slot "The Fox Hole" at the very least.;)

I’m gonna hold off on more accessories for the time being. I have zero need for the larger bowl and I don’t wanna drop $25 on shipping for a $35 mouthpiece. Hopefully Sneaky Pete or another US distributor will carry those in the future with a more reasonable shipping cost.

I had a full bowl last night that hit me like a dab. Jesus that was strong. The half bowl is a pretty perfect dose for me. I’m also finding the native sessions hit me way less hard than the full extraction in one hit through water. I’ve been heating around the center oven for native hits and getting 5 or so nice hits across the span of minute or so. Definitely not too harsh to enjoy, but the flavor is definitely not as good as some of my other devices. Honestly the flavor reminds me of Dynavap a lot. Are we sure this thing is mostly convection? Really feels like there’s a good amount of conduction going on here too.

Do a heat cycle and don’t hit it. Unscrew and take a look. Then screw back on and act like nothing ever happened.

Seriously though. This is a great way to check initial conduction/convection.

Edit- And yes a Walnut futo is on the way too. With a “fox hole” hehe

If you got one that's great.. I made 3 Anvil galaxy stashes over the weekend and just got them up this morning.. then I was surprised when they sold out within 5 minutes.

There's more available in regular woods - walnut, padauk, granadillo and leopardwood (which matches the Anvil design in a cool way). Our 420 sale is on until midnight. It was fun to design something new, and I had help from a few people in the community with ideas to arrive at our anvil stash.

No it isn't: that's not how you use it. The cutouts hold the chamber clear of the oven really well for the actual use case of hitting it after the click rather fucking off during the only time you're supposed to hit it

Yeah fuck that shipping for sure.

And yeah I've been calling the Anvil a dry herb banger the hits are so satisfyingly dense 👌
