The Revolves have been out in the wild for a while now and was expecting more feed back from owners. They look great and the engineering appears to be a step above but the spinning/locking mouth piece has me a little nervous for longevity. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Wallet in hand.

what exactly makes you nervous for longevity? the locking mouthpiece is held in place by a replacable o-ring, the absence of the o-ring allows the mouthpiece to spin. It's a simple yet effective design.

I have had the Revolve and Reload for a week now and it is truly is amazing. I have used it primarily for hashish, and it is by far the best device I have ever tried for this. Huge clouds with no coughing. I am an OG dyna-user (since 2016) and this is game changing stuff they got going. I use it with 18TI and 19SS tips. Have a vong tip on the way.

However, I do have issues with the mouthpiece. Even with the o-ring in place it spins. I have changed the o-ring but there is not enough friction to lock it. Also the adjustment for the draw resistance has way to little friction and is easy to rotate unintentionally (especially when the MP spins) and kind of makes it a bit useless as it changes position without me wanting to. I believe there must be some issue with QC as this is not as the product was advertised and I have been in contact with Mad heaters about it. Hopefully we find a solution as I cannot really see myself using any other stem for quite a while as it's performance is superior.

Even tho I use IH mostly these days, when using a torch I do not really need the spinning mouthpiece, so for me this feature is only a hassle.

Other than this (and the very hot fins) this is the future of cool ass vaping. Also props for the Reload, this is basically what I have been looking for since 2016. Can't wait for the Sense and some wooden stems to drop. This is top level Dynaverse.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply. Good on the folks at Mad Heater for providing a feature rich stem from inception. Definitely looks as if they have. Additional cooling over my Simrell collection is what perked my interests. Hope the QC issues are resolved to your satisfaction.

You're going to be very happy with 21 VonG tip. It's the only TI tip I've used since they were released.

Good to hear about the VonG being the right choice!

I have not tried any simrell systems as I am blessed by no VAS. I have been using OmniVong and a 19M for a few years now and have been considering Simrell for a while, but then Revolve came up and I just jumped aboard and it came a few weeks later. I am very happy now. Also the reclaim catcher is an ingenious little conception. The level of finesse and detail is as mentioned before is superb, but your concerns about the mouthpiece is legit. The fins, as others also point out also do get way to hot, but holding the stem below is fine, but I hope wood or future designs will fix this.

Even tho it has these two flaws (for me) I will continue to use it every single time I vape for quite a while.

I'm excited and everything but this would be an issue for me. Does this mean the draw resistance can change accidentally whilst heating/rotating the stem?

Did anyone get extra goodies? I just returned home and got my 3 stem packs and black reload but no extra goodies like other people but that's OK time to go to space and test it out

When I read it I immediately took out my Revolve and checked if I can change the draw resistance on my unit with bare hands. No chance.
Good! I can adjust it with just applying slight pressure with the tip of my finger, I don't even need to use a nail og the cap. When you have the mouthpiece locked is it actually locked or does it still rotate with some friction? For me it rotates and if I do this the inner tube also rotates ever so slightly.

I have changed the o ring on the inner tube but same. There is also an o ring inside the cooler that might be the issue, but it seems really painful to replace.

When in locked mode, my mouthpiece rotates while also rotating the draw control (I like this a lot). However, after a few uses (I suspect the tube gets a bit sticky from vapor) it won't turn the draw control anymore when rotating the mouthpiece. Don't really mind tho.

Hope so! Looking forward to my silver reload. Hopefully the discounted price on the revolve will still be up when payday comes!

Sold out! Bah!

I use it without the locked mouthpiece and don't have any issues. But I kannot tell about all the other units

Just received mine and have been enjoying it so far. I thought that I would go with the glass configuration ever since I first saw it used that way, but the revolve Ti feels so premium I am going to get to know it first.

No matter how I orient the mouthpiece, it doesn't lock from spinning. I think the o-ring may be too narrow on mine. Having it spin does not bother me, because it's not like it is loose and free spinning or anything. I just wanted to echo that mine is like some of the others. I actually like it just as it is.

My only complaint is that it looks like my intercooler had an issue with the PVD coating around one of the threads and is showing the metal underneath. I hope that doesn't cause a chain reaction. But the finish everywhere else is very nice.

I was a fool to not get the reload at the same time, so hopefully I can just buy a new one to go with my reload order. I also will be adding some carbless glass stems when they are added too.

I have a kinda similar QC issue, my fins are rough and you can see the machining lines on it, I dunno how to post pictures here, but yeah my black and rosium look fine though.

The MP won't lock completely, in that case it would be extremely hard to push the airflow tube together with the mouthpiece if we have too much friction. However it can be too loose if it's rotating with normal use like spinning or fluttering.

I'm sorry about that, it doesn't look great :( After a thorough clean it shouldn't get any worse, but I'm happy to replace it for you, please send a PM / email with your order no and we can sort out the rest as well. The carbless glass is available online, you can select it on the normal glass product page

Edit: Make sure to push the airflow tube into the mouthpiece all the way so it's flush, that's very important! That could also be why it's still spinning :)

It's the most visible on the Ti I'm afraid, but all of them has those little machining lines unfortunately. It's less visible on the coated ones.

Same here, but don't really see it as a QC issue. Just a tough if not impossible spot to polish by machine. Can't do it on a lathe iic. Might consider doing it myself sometime with some 4000 grit sanding paper after carefully taping off the other parts of the fins. Probably won't cause CBA. Don't even notice it while in normal use. Only when I inspected every mm upon receiving.

Besides ... #teamglass on the raw ti all day long.

@Brenyo Been wondering ... What does the 'P1' stand for, on the side of the helix? Part/product 1?
