Sorry what about this one though, finally just arrived today suddenly after nearly 4 months stuck in shipping limbo, silver fumed color tentacled millied 14mm male rig from China... It seems quite nice quality actually, for what it is, paid $48 without the bowl from DJsmoke on DHgate, the drop down adapter is from Amazon, and as per usual this rig is much smaller than expected, good function:

Hey the heady male tentacle rig finally showed up, and I am really happy with it, despite the wait! The seller was responsive, the shipping delays were out of their control, now I can finally use this double 14mm female drop-down adapter lol

If you check the heady thread, I also just bought something from Instagram that is not really cheap glass, $120 shipped for a red silver fumed raked and clear cup rig with 10 mm down stem also fumed and raked (the seller even added a few holes to the downstem for me before shipping)

It's difficult to keep water in the chambers of that dual perc.

Holding it at an angle and pulling more softly only does so much.

This is definitely more diffusing than I would choose on a piece so when it "misses" some pathways it still cools very well.

If you haven’t yet.... try warm water instead of ice. Read that tip in a long discussion, for those like me that cough a lot, many find it very soothing. I don’t do it all the time, but right after a good cleaning, I’ll microwave some distilled water, just WARM, not hot.

Took only 2 days of moderate use to make the double perc dirty with wax residue. I boiled it carefully for about 10 minutes and while it was still warm I shook some iso around in it to make it shine.

The Roor and the TAG 9 can stand with the percs attached but the Roor is more tippy. Generally I would not recommend leaving the percs attached when not in use either way.

Here's how my 2 new pieces look married together. It's a lot of diffusion in a small package. Running it a little lean seems to suit me just fine.

I played around with both higher and lower water levels than this.
I felt this one gives the best chug without any blowback.

A little bit more and I get blowback, a little less and the chug disappears I feel I might as well be hitting it dry.
This level just feels right to me.

I have a feeling his prices will climb over the next year or two but we’ll see.

Totally agree. Started following them on IG right before they launched their website and was surprised the prices were in that lowish range. Got 25% off a nice little ~13" 18mm tube for being one of the first orders and I'm super happy with it. Looks like you can still get a 20% coupon for signing up on their site.

Oooh yeah this seems like very reasonable prices for what you get, there are even a few bent necks and bubbler style, clear pieces and heady accented too, I was contemplating grabbing some new Lamart stems made by glassCharlie (there is a fumed spiked donut one I have my eye on as a mouthpiece for my modular bubblers) but they are pretty damn expensive for what they are with conversion rate, transaction fee, and steep shipping cost internationally...

So I am seriously contemplating one of these^ instead, even though I was done buying water pieces, aside from upcoming Cloud Connoisseur line and maybe Licit in the future... The one on the left comes to $128 shipped after discount, and the one on the right is $140 though it had a fucked up perc apparently that was fixed... Edit: No I was wrong, fixed just means the perc is fixed as in stationary not removable? His special custom perk is called fixed reverse "perctosuccess" with awesome stacking!

I actually have a J-hook already that I've used with my Lotus! I will def try it out with the TM once the WPA comes in but I would like something that can hold a bit more water than a J hook for days I just want to blast off!

There are a gazillion choices for a water piece for the TM because it is so powerful and mates so well with glass. I use an RBT adapter, but anything that ends in a joint should work fine. I prefer 18mm glass, tho many prefer 14mm.
My current favorite pieces are the FC-UFO,

If you like big glass there are several great pieces from Goo Roo and other American makers, tho they tend to be more pricey. I just bought a really nice TAG piece tho it is a little heavy for my preferences. All of these and many many others are in this thread...

Cranberry extract helps keep water clean, I use drop-down adapters with distilled water myself...

I use Cranberry Extract in my water to make it easier (much easier) to keep the glass from getting grungy. All it usually requires to keep it clean after using this is a hot water rinse. There is a whole thread about this stuff here. You don't need to read the whole thread tho it is interesting. I swear by it.

I had that made for me by OGB (OregonGlassBlower). It's about 10" long and I had him start the bend about 3 inches up from the joint to get my face further away from the can. I got this a while ago but at that time he had 2 widths of tubing and I asked for the wider one.

Haha I totally feel you, it definitely is bad, like the custom fancy wood vape envy? It's the one of a kind envy, although some of it is not truly one of a kind, the glass or the wood, but you know, I totally agree! Sorry if I'm giving you the envy, want to give you the vicarious joy instead... I am glad that I have invested so much into glass lately, after investing so much into vapes for so long, it's all excessive but at least now it's universally so! (I have way too many BCG as well LOL)

Anyway I am talking to FireWithinGlass on IG now, super quick to respond, seems like a great guy in Vegas, the blue bubbler above is still available though the red one sold already, I'm asking about the price... Thinking the heady blue tube may be a must-have, asking if there might be any special savings if I were to get both though??!

Me too. I know how much trouble that could lead to. I generally buy my glass for it's function rather than it's beauty so I have avoided the heady glass. There are only one or 2 splashes of color in my whole glass collection. I DO like art glass but I don't own any. My Mom had a few nice pieces but my brother got them. He is more interested in displaying art than I.

Honestly I've found that glass has such a big impact. I even take a small bubbler on trips now.
