Next ATM question. It seems that the display will always be on whether on or off as long as it is plugged in. Or am I missing where this can be set.

Not ideal for a bedside setting.
You can kinda adjust brightness setting at the bottom of the settings menu but not off afaik. I'm considering an on/off switch maybe ...

I use them with all my buck boost controllers
I'm a little surprised REFC hasn't included some provision for one in the design to be honest
And think a higher rated rocker switch in the housing would be a better option

I have a set of rockers here and am not quite pleased with the power handling. More on this later. But I'd watch these inline switches. Even the ones I bought rated for "10a" get rather warm under my ~6a load. Not startlingly so, but enough to cause a bit of second thoughts. Obviously this will vary by workload. My duplex runs a Herbo Ti and a HLT full time and my test rocker got warm. If you're running a smaller load like a log (woodscents, underdog, etc) it should be just fine. Those have relatuively low current draw.

I did consider adding a 4th hole for an optional toggle or rocker switch. This complicates wiring and does add a 4th hole that may or may not be used and that does screw with the aesthetics of the design. Perhaps I can include a knock-out on future editions. Will have to tinker with knock-outs in prints.

Edit - BTW a smart socket won't work - like some of the more advanced PIDs, this always boots into a de-energized state.

This looks so neat, finally a practical VVPS with wattage control!

Does anyone have any idea where to source the stepdown converter in EU/internationally? Amazon shows it unavailable to me :(

Edit: Found it on banggood, search for DSP5005.

I was able to program the M1 and M2 preset buttons after watching the video and reading through the manual. I’m at a loss trying to figure out how to program M0-M9 presets to make them functional. Seems like the values I put in as presets on M1-M9 don’t actually save, so when I scroll through using the potentiometer, the default voltage shows for all of the M presets. Seems like if nothing else, the preset values I have saved and are working as they should for button M1 and button M2 would show up when I use the scroll function, but they do not. I’m imagining using the potentiometer to quickly scroll through preset voltage settings when I want more options for quick voltage changes than the preset buttons M1 and M2 give me. Am I looking at this the right way? If so how do I program M0-M9 to work this way?

Fucking Combustion (mostly) Since February 2017
I dust ordered a dual screen model.
Good price, so how could I not?

Kinda wish I could have gotten a different color.
All but two colors were out of stock though.
I had the choice of red or blue. I chose blue.

Super stoked about being on Red’s prebuilt list, this single ATM is going to simplify & improve using the herborizer, Atlas and WoodScents. The Vapbong will use its regular timer/power setup, since it‘s on the other side of my station. After stumbling across this thread, I couldn’t contact REFC Labs fast enough!

The ATM is a brilliant device that anyone with multiple 12v devices needs and Red is amazing, crazy prompt & has excellent communication skills. It was like dealing with one of my electronic hobby shops or any other well-run small business (that’s not in the cannabis industry) :D One of the few exceptions out there that exist solely to prove the rule.

To be honest, I’m surprised more members aren’t buzzing about this bad mutha because I know loads of dudes that have multiple 12v heaters and the ATM is a clutter/cord killer before you even get to its performance benefits. If you‘ve got a dedicated vape station/den/room, this accessory seems like a no-brainer. But then, I’m a fool for accessories.

I'm floored, thank you for such kind support! I'm thankful for the opportunity to provide joy to the community 🙏 The future is now; Everyone deserves a refined experience.

I've had a number of requests for prebuilts and will probably add an item for a full prebuilt kit in the store. Will likely be a basic simplex offering first. Depends on how much extra time I can snag :)
