Vleaf Go: on-demand convection herb vaporizer!

Is the battery capacity pretty similar to the Bowle?
no, and the weaker the battery becomes, it can no longer deliver the same force.

I always charge after 2 sessions. at the 3rd, it no longer evaporates with the correct heat as the temperature would be in the full range

Edit:
with the Bowle i get only 3 sessions, not much more

The vleaf go has given me some great times on the river this summer. Pretty harsh, but about as small and light a vape you can get. Excellent on demand hits, too.

After some people have mentioned it in the thread, I decided to dust off my jhook to try with it. I've had this thing all year and never used it any way other than dry on the go. Wish I'd tried it sooner as it rocks. Puffing away to get it started feels nice and natural, and the resulting vapor is cool and flavorful.

Even better, the jhook is teaching me how to best get the vleaf go going. After this, I'm almost tempted to make it my vape for a concert this weekend. I worry about battery runtime, but I don't need more than what is in an oven in an evening.

Seriously, the GO is kind of a sleeper in the vape world if you don't have a massive tolerance. The UX is very nice, especially for the price. If they made one that took 14500 I'd be IN.

I have a unit gone bad purchased in Nov from Puffitup. I have written to CS at both companies without a response.
I am told that Virani monitors the forum.
It is expected that the manufacturers’ warranty be honored by the manufacturer.
A $300 Crafty with 3 assured years of trouble free operation trump buying a GO every six months or a year.

Vleaf - can you please assure the forum you honor your warranty?
This unit was actually a gift and now I must give up my go to replace his. Can I continue to recommend this product? HIATUS!

Oh c'mon! I just started looking at this vape!

Would be surprised if PIU doesn't make this right if the manufacturer doesn't.

This is not an everyday complaint about this vape, we hope @Kimosabe gets some satisfaction.

I wonder what issue you are having?

Not sure I'm with your logic on the Crafty thing; one can buy 4 Go's for the price of a Crafty. I'm very happy to have gotten over a year from my Go. (the older Crafty -- I went through 4 exchanges under my warranty, one of which included being billed $60 because I had "too many charge cycles" racked up --which I actually did not, but that's another tale.)

It would not surprise me is the Go's battery (in general, not necessarily in your instance) simply degrades in a year's time. I'm sure batteries are not covered by warranty; they rarely are.
One owner may put 30 yr on a Go, another maybe 300...

Mine is at 17 months, not a daily driver (unless the hopper is in the shop!). It is beginning to weaken even on the second chamber, while it typically has been during the 3rd that some difference (weaker hits) is notable.

i have to agree.
I paid ONLY 55 euros for 4 Go`s. for each.
if they last 4 years for 220 euros, a GO is much cheaper than a Crafty, for example

for 55 Euro for each i am very happy if the vape lives for 1 year.

I think you can't expect more for the price.

But I have to mention that we are only talking about the battery, the vape itself delivers an excellent job, I think :sherlock:

I do not know much about this thing. I own one it works very well. In fact so well I will not give it up to my buddy who burned through the gifted go. My issue is not with the product but rather the irresponsible nature of their support. I understand that all manufacturers will hassle you endlessly for videos and photographs an suggestions to do this and do that... actually anything to avoid taking the unit back. It is the avoidance of returning my many emails for help that irritates me beyond belief. I fail to understand how anyone can forgive that.

A point of interest I can just bet that 65 USD is the cost of manufacturer to S&B of the crafty. Did they want shipping too?

When you say shut it down I assume it will power back up again up on cool down is that correct?
Yes, it will restart but if it’s too soon it will error again. Gets 3 red flashes and turns off and battery is not on low reading, unless the voltage is low and battery failing I know what the error could be but heat. Usually happens on highest temp in session mode when I vape hash on 3rd session. Just to make sure I just tried to reproduce the issue by just pushing the buttons without load and no drawing on the 4th session it shut off after about 4 or 5 seconds and if you try again it shuts off the session. It doesn’t shut device off but ends session with the flashes. It could be that this just a cheap device that doesn’t work when pushed hard, don’t know and don’t care it’s a throwaway device, still works ok though it’s at least a year since purchase.

Kimosabe sent smoke signals to Puffitup through chat. Agent will inform management of problem and get someone from Vivant to respond.
Agent made it clear they will assist but this is a consumer-mfg issue (agreed).
Thanks for your concern, LesPlenty.

Vivant: silence continues....

$70 great vape, no warrantee outside of maybe first 30 days with selected vendors?
is that worth the gamble? I'm glad I did not know this fact beforehand or I would not experience the joys of ownership;
This being said, I would need to think twice about the purchase if I read this 2 weeks from now and there WAS NO RESOLUTION!!!

Either way, count on me to scout out and report back
📆📡

My take: shut down thermistor reset as expected
and component or failed battery on restart? My friend combusts and is not good at following instructions. likely had high power repeated sessions and unhealthy component or power cell.

Put two of these back in rotation. Two because I can use one while the other recharges. Back because I've been playing with other toys. :)

I've been using DV The Vong for awhile. The Vong hits you in the face, while the Go sneaks up on you and puts a cloth bag over your head.

Different experiences, both enjoyable. The Go is useful when I am having respiratory issues. Much smoother.

Should be getting a Boundless Tera in a bit, might put the Go back on the shelf. Great vape though.

i "found" a new screen MOD for the GO..

the screen from the X Max V3 Pro fits in the silicone tube from the mouthpiece

it can be washed and can used again and again :) it sits very tightly and does not fall off easily

Does the shaft slide inside the silicone tube, or is it on the outside like the standard one, but tighter?

And for better airflow and less build-up (on the disc filter) swap the disc filter for a @DDave Ti mesh screen. :2c:

Wondering if you guys can help me out. I just got a vLeaf Go second hand. 5 taps turns it on. 1 tap shows me the battery (green, just charged it). 3 taps puts it in session mode.

The problem is 2 taps isn't changing the temperature. It's not changing to green or yellow. How do I change the temp?

yes 2 taps and when it lights up temp color, tap 2 more to change while it’s lit, if light goes out you waited too long to change.
2 taps then 2 taps... Thanks, it worked. The manual just says 2 taps and I was trying just about any combination that wasn't already tied to something.

Is there anyway to know when it's done charging, or is it just always red?

I just purchased a second VLeaf Go as a backup. My first one is still working fine.

My daily driver has been Grasshoppers for the last few years. I was drawn to the Go by the price and generally favorable comments in this thread.

I'm sure it's been discussed before, but for me the performance of this vape is pretty technique dependent. I recently took one on an outing where I would normally use a Grasshopper, and I was left frustrated and dissatisfied. I got a fairly weak cloud on high temp, followed by another slightly stronger one. ABV not very dark. I like high temps and fast extraction.

I decided to keep trying and vary my technique. In my next session (on-demand) I held the button for 5-6 seconds before drawing, and I drew significantly slower than previously. I had a very satisfying experience with strong clouds and even a little scorching of the ABV (which I don't mind ;))

If you're new to this vape and aren't getting what you want from it, try varying your technique.
