That's exactly what I do, works like a charm.

@BrianTL I clean my stems way before they get that dirty, I find the change in taste starts to really bother me for one plus the bowl is so sticky at that point it's tougher to scrape out after each session. I like my glass sparkly clean, it makes my OCD brain happy .:D

Yeah taste is funny that way, I had noticed the same thing with the stock stem / CU. It seems to slowly degrade over time and I really dont notice it at all, but after a cleaning that first hit is just pure flavor and it catches me by surprise, every time. Would be nice to have that flavor all of the time

I also dont scrape the bowl out, just blow out! The AVB comes out in a nice little puck.

Edit: as a side note, this is a great way to see how much gunk normally gets loaded up inside the CU's that we dont see...

6 weeks!? Mine looks like that after a few days, maybe I need to cut down!!! :)

Haha well like I said...intermittently. Most of my time at home has been with spent with plugins, but my TM and FW have also been seeing some casual use. I just got my J hooks 6 weeks ago, so I used that as a rough estimate. Even though it was probably close to a week after that before I even used one of them for the first time, which would have also been maybe that WPA's 3rd use ever... but anyways lol no need to cut down

Do you guys feel like this is an ok vape to put in my pocket and carry around while I'm out and about? I'm always very careful with all my devices (vape related or not) and take really good care of them and every precaution I can not to drop things, hahaha. I've heard some people say they feel it's too fragile to even just carry around in your pocket.

100%. The TM has been on many kinds of outdoor excursions with me and never skipped a beat. 95% of the time in my front jeans pocket with the short stem in the device.

I just purchased one of these on the 26th, not knowing about the new ban, (that’s on me, of course). the order page said “complete” on the 28th, and “shipped” the next day. All good so far. Should I be worried that this beautiful device isn’t going to clear U.S. Customs?

I can only think of one person here that thinks the TM is not strong enough for a pocket. I've never had an issue carrying it around. I keep the long stem installed with a cap over the mouthpiece.
Awesome! Thank you! This was complaints I had seen on the Vaporents subreddit. I felt it was a bit exaggerated and dramatic but just wanted to make sure. I feel like the people that are commenting stuff like that haven't actually owned it and just repeating something they've heard before and just winds up spreading bullshit. That's why I wanted to check on here, because every review I've seen says to check out this forum.

I wouldn't be worried, personally! USPS at least isn't sure how to enact it yet, and if TM sent it by DHL then I presume it is going to be fine for delivery to USA, one would hope!

Also this is for anyone asking about how to load and distance from the heater, this is a typical load (no stirring needed) for me:

With temp stepping 2-5 by ~.33 each hit.

The usps final ruling was delayed a few days ago so for now it should be cool

Thanks for the pic. Can't see if you're using a basket or just loaded it til the glass grid.

on screens. i get a cup screen, put it empty, into an empty glass mouthpiece tube, domeside in. i then stand the tube on the table, screen end down. then i get an aluminium craft knife handle which is essentially a 10mm diameter bar but the flat end of a pen or a piece of dowel will do the same job, and just drop it onto the dome a few times and tap it down till it is flat at the top and the side is flat against the glass.
then i use the top for the screen. i load on the top and the grip around the side holds it in place.
i think a lot of people use their screens this way up. you can also use an oversize flat screen and manually form it but thats harder work.

So I just got mine. Took exactly a week to get to me in Florida. So far, I've had 3 fan-flipping-tastic bowls. It came set at 5 and I've left it there. I've been with my hands on the keyboard ready to type for possibly 20 mins but my fingers weren't really wanting to move yet and now I've sorta forgotten what I wanted to say about this little device, yea. It's even smaller than I expected. Holy shit I'm zonked! WOW

Edit: I searched this thread because I'm sure this has been talked about but I couldn't find where....Is it cool to just leave it on on "on-demand" mode the entire time like you'd do with a vape battery or should it be shut off completely when not in use? I don't know if that makes sense..What I'm trying to ask is if "on-demand" mode is like "standby" mode on devices you can just leave in standby indefinitely (as long as it has battery)?

I normally run my TM dry, through some sort of j hook, but I have been loving it lately with this Art of Vapor (Collyland) bong! Ripped some huge bowls last night, the power from this little thing blows me away! Such a fun and versatile device.

That is such a gorgeous bong, the obsidian with the fiery tree branches, just stunning, not sure if you got it during the clearance sale, but either way it is a great get!!

Yeah it has come up but I don't know how easy it is to search for that one... Yes it is safe to leave it on in standby mode, the battery drain should be minimal, but I would turn it off if you are planning not to use it for extended lengths of time? At least that's what I like to do with mine, I'll leave it on if I am doing like back to back bowls, or taking break in the middle of a bowl... Honestly it is rare that I turn it off while I'm in the middle of a bowl, unless I guess I am out and about? Which has been a while lol

Yes can do and it doesn't seem to use a huge amount of battery. I left mine on accidentally several times but when I check battery it hasn't changed from what I thought it had when I walked away hours before.

@doctapeppa Glad you jumped right in!

As for leaving it on in stand-by for on demand mode, I do that all of the time. I usually will turn it on for the first use of the day, at whatever time that may be, and dont actually turn it off until I'm going to bed or changing batteries.

Only downside is you dont get to check the battery level before starting a bowl. So I used to swap batteries when I got to 2 buzzes, doing it this way I've run them down to the shut off. Typically its an noticeable drop in performance once it gets down to below 2 buzzes of battery I think
