Another option, not necessary more expensive, is to just buy a Ti Tip, a cap, and a cheap glass stem. I way prefer glass stems over metal ones with condenser. Actually, I have two Ti tips and one 2020 SS tip (came with my M2020) and always use them with glass stems. FWIW, my favs have no carb hole (not sure about the word, sorry, English is not my native language).

Yeah, I agree with this regarding which is more comfortable to use if you're not going through water or something. You do need to consider your use case though: I think the glass BB9 cools much better than my ti condenser or the SS M, but I wouldn't want to take it on the go with me for fear of breaking it.

Also damn you @sunyata and this sale for tempting me. I keep waffling back and forth between getting a vong + 2020m and telling myself that my Woodscents Vong + Rosium M is all I need.

Yep. In fact what I would likely do in your case is swap the tips so the ti tip is on the 2020 and the ss tip is one the vong. The ss tip holds the heat for longer, making it well suited for longer rips through a water piece, so would naturally go with the vong, and the ti tip using the 2020m would likely mean it cools down quicker between clicks, you need less total heat and your device stays at a more comfortable temp overall, which is nice for handheld use of a vapcap but doesn't matter as much with a water piece... And if then also upgraded with the xl condenser and mouthpiece you'd have something that is essentially as good as the omni with its more comfortable length for normal sized hands, just partially close the airport from the inside by moving the o ring to a position where the holes are always partially closed. That's the only added genuine benefit of the omni condenser and once you have it at a airflow you like you'll never change it anyway.

Has there been any confirmation that older parts will mate with the 2021 DV's? Really hope they do. Would like to swap out the condenser and use my XL condenser with wooden spinning mouth piece on the VongG when it arrives. VongG XL? The extra length should add a little extra cooling and easier to spin.

I have a BB9. It's not bad at all, but I don't like to search the carb hole. My favs are about 80mm long with no carb hole. They're a bit shorter than the BB9, but the cooling is as efficient :

Ha "need" is hard to define here. Especially in the enthusiast space it ends up being much more of a hobby than anything else. I like getting stems and tips, mixing and matching, making my own bits and pieces as well (the aforementioned intercoolers) etc, try to mess around with stuff. I don't need any of it, but it's fun for me so I pay for it.

From what I've seen that should work, it seems to be a standard condenser in there, and it's been confirmed that the new tips are compatible with legacy devices. Was also wondering about that option, may look cool with the dark wood spinning mouthpiece

I have an old titanium tip with really shallow air cutouts on the top. Where would i find a file to make them larger for better airflow? Is this still in practice?

I believe that you can get a 20 M with a preorder Vong as well. That's the route that I would take for the Ti tip.

Good Luck!

Several people seems to have been mentioning that a Dynavap 2020 M is being given away with preorders on the new 2021 Omni and Vong... Has anyone verified if this is actually true, or just speculation? Also, is this true for everyone ordering using Dynavaps website during the presale? Or do you need to have some special code to enter with your order to get the free 2020M?

I have no Dynavaps whatsoever and thinking about getting a Vong now...Is any of this even true?

When you buy an new 2021 TED from Dynavap there will be a "complementary storage" added to your order. No one really knows what it is. Not sure anyone has gotten a package yet, could be wrong. My hope is it's like a 20M Azurium or better. My hopes are high and my label only created :peace:

I keep looking at the new omni and wodering if the reason they didn't release a short and only the XL was because you can remove the tip and use it that way as well. Kinnd of looks like the tip of the body is a built in tip. Anybody know if I'm just being crazy

Small three sided file at hardware store.

The removable 'tip' as in all DV's is the bowl. If the 'tip' is removed there is no bowl. Here's a link to DV chart breaking down all the DV models, past and present that should assist. Good luck.:)

Vapes R Great
If the tip does not fit, you must acquit!

I've found that almost every tip and cap heat slightly different
some tips fit tight, some loose
some caps pop super loud, some double pop, some hardly make a pop
i think I have 10-15 different tips and caps, only about 5 stainless
normally swap my whole piece out every 2 weeks, Simrell vortex, then to a omni, back to a wood vortex, back to a omnivong
clean one piece between each swap out
vape about 10 times a day, every day, 95% with a induction heater

pretty much all my old VAS is gone and I don’t look at other vapes a lot. I’ve become so accustomed to the Dynavap ritual.

You're crazy.
Loking at the new omni stem minus the tip, you can see they faceted the end oppisite the MP similar to a tip. I know it could just be for cooling but not super farfetched. I have quite a few and understand the tip is the bowl @endof3d tx. The og units were just a stem so the idea seemed like a plausable supprise. Wouldnt take much other than a smaller screen.Like a micro bowl stored under the tip itself. It would give the option to go to a shorter size as well. Yeh maybe I am just crazy. Or I just designed a future iteration 😂
Edit: just did a test amd concept works
A seperate tip would fit into a built in tip if said device did exist

Isnt it more likely like that the "complementary storage" is actually what it says it is? ...i.e. Dynavap has come with new hard cardboard storage tubes for the 2021 Dynavaps (as seen in many of the latest review videos, and some have posted pics here on the forum too).

I mean, I'd be happy to be wrong, but doesnt that actually SOUND like free "complimentary storage"?

A couple folks who pre-ordered early through emails from Dynavap already got theirs, and they've posted on Reddit that it's a 2020 M.

Have the original Shell Shock and none of my tips SS or Ti fit snug enough even with new O rings. I would never risk leaving the house with the unit for fear of loosing a tip. Will be trying a small sheet of gold leaf wrapped around the tip then adding the O rings to increase diameter.

Got a question for you, Dyna users.

I have two Ti Tips, one for full dose, the second one for microdosing. Read everywhere the screen can be set to quarter dose, so 25mg. But when I look at my bowl, it seems more to be like a third at min. So is it an impression I have and it's effectively 25mg, or is the minimal dose slightly larger than said ? Tried to measure, but can't manage to be precise enough.

I always thought it was 1/3, 2/3, full?

Maybe those customers got in some other earlier deal? Or part of some other special promotion?

I just read through the FAQs at the Dynavap website and it seems like they pretty much answered the question directly on the 'Complimentary Storage' question.

"What is the 'Complimentary Storage' that gets added to my cart?

We will be sending a complimentary storage unit with all 2021 "M", Omni, and VonG preorders."

"What is the new packaging made of?

The "M" - 2021 Edition comes in 100% recyclable corrugated cardboard for safe transportation, just like The 2020 "M".

The Omni and The VonG come in a recyclable cardboard tube, with special graphics, and specially made wooden Cap and Mouthpiece ends. The Cap can serve as a stand for your new Omni and VonG."

We should probably stop getting people hopes up that they are gloing to buy a 2021M and get a free 2020M at the same time.
