I just got gifted a bunch of concentrates and would love to try this out. I’ve been looking into e rigs after my Carta went down, and the dabox is more of a back up.

I have quite a bit of experience with dry herb vaporizers, but not much with dab rigs yet. If feedback from my perspective would help you I’d be interested in giving it a shot!

Can you also clarify whether you’re looking for private feedback, public reviews, or something else?

Very nice. I am currently using a banger and torch for desktop. A Lamada Motar for portable and the Terp Pens for super portable. I like the look of yours. Looks a little like the RIO, less the torch. Very nice. Looking forward to it.

I have to ask where the benefits of induction heating come into play, when none of the desirable vapor surfaces are induction compatible without some kind of added susceptor.
Hmm.. good question @invertedisdead..

@Dablamp you mentioned "The Dablamp Team has been making E-Rigs and providing solutions for international customers since 2014." What other products/solutions have you made and/or worked on?

From the website, included in the kit list - "Carta Glass Top", is this another release from Carta/Randal? What does "Carta" mean exactly?

Everythings coming up Milhouse!
Hey @Dablamp, best of luck on your release! I'd happily give it a go, but aside from a cartridge based vape I've had for a few years I'm new to vaping units, so it would definitely be from the newer/reformed smoker perspective.

Cheers!

What's the deal with charging? Does it come with the correct charging cord or do you need to buy separate? ..four hour charge time in 2021

"The charging port is 3.5mm DC and you can use 7.4V/1A Li-ion battery charger, and it takes about 4 hours to fully charge the battery."

i'd be interested in trying it out. I have a RiO and this looks like an electric version of that but open flame is pretty variable. I like the idea of temp controlled dabs.

Came here to say exactly this. I love my RiO and it's really been nice to take a break from electric/battery based solutions, but I really do miss the temp control feedback and I'll gladly be your lab rat lol! I will work for dabs! 😁

Looks interesting, im still unsatisfied with most of the "e-rigs" on the market but maybe this ones this ones the game changer ive been looking for? Like that it comes with a sic bucket but i agree that the carta glass top thats included raises some curiosity. Seems like this is an improved/portable version of the switch so theres definitely a group of people out there that will be intrigued by this. Anyway, id be down to test, use to do random focus groups for side cash a while back so I (might) have an idea of some of the info you guys are looking for. Either way, welcome to the community and good luck on bringing the product to the market!

I'd also be interested in trying it out. I'm a medical patient, and started dabbing recently. I have a cheap e-rig that I don't really like; it uses a metal coil to heat a ceramic bucket, and I can taste the metal twang. I'd love something that provided a clean tasting hit.

Wow. And welcome. This us a great idea. I would def be interested in trying one. I see alot of potential here and upgrades seem endless. I would love an opportunity to try this out if given the chance. Build looks clean and quality. You def came to the right place for feedback and input. Excited to see where it goes esp w induction being utilized. Gotta say im digging the glass shape.

Welcome Welcome @Dablamp!

I would also be happy to test, extensive experience with testing dry herb vapes here, but a bit of concentrate vapes too... I have a buddy here in Cali who is a full time dabber though so I would use this with him of course (he just got a source versa and had peek and xvape among others, plus mini nail, but mostly used torch and banger) we get a lot of nice quality dabs!

So I figured banger would be my choice for a dab rig, but really prefer not to use a torch or have a big complicated setup... Most other e-rigs use those metal coils that ruin the flavor, or ceramic buckets that can never fully be cleaned... But the design of this one looks like it would be very simple to keep clean and get the best taste??

So yes I am quite intrigued too!

Good luck with the launch

I'd be glad to test, as well. I've got plenty of experience with concentrate vaporizers -- the Core E-Rig, M22, DTv4, Puffco+, Qomo, Terp Pen XL, as well as the traditional banger set-up -- and ended up passing on all of them save for the M22. It would be nice if there were an all-in-one solution I actually found pleasant. Welcome to the forum.

Im definitely interested because I can’t understand how a giant torch is the most modern way we have to get a good dab in. If dabs are the future, then e-rigs are one of the top products that should be properly developed to help conserve valuable resources while providing a safe and efficient way to enjoy a dab. This one looks like a massive step in the right direction because no matter how much I look into the specs I don’t see a disgusting atomizer mentioned anywhere...

Edit: I see one mention of “atomizer” on the site but what I’m referring to as “disgusting atomizer” is when the dab is heated directly inside of a coil or ceramic wrapped coil atomizer. This design looks different than what we all have come to know as “atomizer” because it looks like material is heated inside of a ‘banger’. Definitely looking forward to more info/videos.

Hey guys, please could you add me to the list - have been looking for a new toy and would love to see how it compares to what i regularly use (puffco peak, focus v carta and Flowerpot). Looks like a cool bit of kit!
