The VAS is strong with this one. My initial reaction was "I'd never buy this vape." After reading all the feedback in this thread, I'm very tempted!
Good luck, I had the same line of thinking. 😂 ....I was keeping it to artisan vapes because I was tired of mediocre results from so many mass-produced vapes. It checks every box, for me anyway!

Same here lol. I originally came in here to laugh and bemoan.

Now I’m circling the drain on the buy button as this sits in my shopping cart as I desperately search for a reason not to buy it lol

I had a medically (Oxycodone) idea. I tried to create a TM Toilet Bowle. Took the innards of my broken TM. Combined it with an inverted flux capacitor and 2 (not one - but 2) right handed variable potentiometers, a good whip tube, and a couple of highly secret items and placed the newly formed device in the toilet. BTW - the cold water also kept the beer cold (screw you Taffee Cup). Fired up the device, took a hit of the beer, took a hit from the TM Toilet Bowle, and flushed the toilet. Didn't turn out quite the way I had hoped. In fact, kinda tasted like shit. Soon after, for some unknown reason, my kept asking me why the cat was all wet. How the hell do I know ?

No No No !!! I'm not falling for this BS again. Everyone raved about the TM - greatest thing since sliced bread !!! Blah Blah Blah. My TM does not work properly. Horrific lack of customer support. Fanboys constantly defending the support from TM. Oh well, what do you expect he is one man artisan. Oh well, he moved - we can't expect support. There is a language difference - can't expect customer support. Covid - can't get parts - can't expect customer support. We should learn how to fix it ourselves - no thanks. However, I will give credit where credit is due - the damn thing works exceptionally well when it it does operate properly. Okay - end of rant !! Can't help myself - spent the night in emergency room peeing blood, vomiting, and in the most intense pain I have ever experienced. Apparently I have a kidney stone. On many medications including Oxycodone.
Could use more Morphine. Hey, maybe I'll pee in the TM to catch the kidney stone. At least I would get some benefit from it.

So the bottom line is no more new (allegedly) the greatest vape ever . No No No. I will wait a year until we see how this thing holds up. Now it is time for another Oxycodone and some Indica. Some after, I will probably think the year is up or I just won't give damn. Do I have to order the cup thingy with the device? I have no desire to drink from the same device I vape from.

Again sorry for this long, and probably, disJOINTed post. I will admit - I'm currently F**ked up. I wonder if I should visit a house of ill repute where the women there could remove the stone by suction. I didn't really write that did I? Wife in hallway - gotta go.
I absolutely agree and is why I never visit the TM thread anymore. Never had such desire to not buy a Vape. Never experienced such disdain for something that had zero interaction with me either. But it's also an interesting marketing phenomenon to observe. Imagine If someone could replicate what TM did to gain such die hard fans? I'd want customers like that for everything I sell lol

I'm also very cautious about this Vape. The price is acceptable considering the pedigree of the creators. This product costs SO much more to make than similarly priced artisan vapes. Just the plastic molds itself costs probably 10 times more than something like the FP, Herborizer or Nomad II but they are more expensive? So far, battery and minor Heater light issues are holding me back.

I am mainly attracted to how it extracts, according to all the reviews so far. Seems to be a very heavy hitting Vape. Right up my alley. Gonna be patient and watch how this unfolds.

vaped.
the only thing i dont like is the battery life so i got another one for failover. i may try to
persue adding a bigger pack to one but undecided yet. i do like that its all screws and possibly allow for battery replacement or other serviceability. im fighting the urge to tinker on one of them.

I'm still holding my ground lol. I can't help but be impressed with this company though. They seem to have planned ahead. Not using the word Vape or Vaporizers. The shape can easily pass off as a cup warmer. This will likely have a good fighting chance against the impending mail Vape ban. But perhaps not as much as modular vapes like Elevator, DV, FlowerPot and the likes.

I've read some extraction comparisons with other models early in this thread. Any updates?

Oh mine always takes a second or two to shut off, that's why I hardly used that feature, because it is too hard to clear properly...

Also was it you, or someone else who talked about accidentally moving the heater screen and having to reset it? I might have touched mine the other day, didn't think it shifted, but now looking at it it seems like maybe it is a little higher than it was? Hard to tell and afraid to touch it much now and risk pushing it further... No idea how it could be reset?
I don't use that feature anymore either, it's easier to just hold the button and release after I'm almost done to clear the stem, less waste of time.

It was me who had problems with the screen. I wish I had taken a picture when it happened, my screen was visibly 1/8" lower on one side and almost touching the sensor under it.. The screen sit in a tiny groove and it's too easy to push the screen in if you touch it when cleaning. I decided to try to put it back in place because I was concerned that the herb would not heat evenly or that the screen being so close to the sensor might interfere in the performance of the vape.

If you absolutely have to reset the screen this is how I did it.
First of all you have no space to work with and you don't want to break the sensor so go slow and be careful. I took a pick to try to lift a corner of the screen so I could pull it of with some tweezer, try to not deform the screen as much as possible, pull it out of the groove bit by bit. This screen is not the same as the one they give you as extras for the cups, it is much thinner and the mesh size is smaller. The screen was a little deformed where I use the tweezer so I used the handle of a brush to use as a rolling pin to flatten the screen as much as I could. Then you just have to put it back into place, I had to use the tweezer and the pick to put it in place because there no space to use your fingers. Hold the screen with the tweezer, push it in the groove with the pick. If you see that it's no going in like it should start again, I had to do it three times before the screen looked good enough for me.

After doing this I can guaranty you that you will never want to touch that screen ever again. Bottom line is don't play with it unless your really need to, if the vape still perform like it used to you should leave it alone, no need to risk breaking something.

This is what it look like after I reset it:

You can see the screen is a little bit too low in the back but once it's pushed too low you can't pull it up without taking it out entirely so it's gonna stay like this. I don't think the performance of the vape has changed too much but I think the heating is less even than it use to, I could be in my mind tho.

And if you're looking at this picture and you think to yourself that screen is not so bad well tell that to my little perfectionist brain that can't be satisfied until everything is level and without flaws. If I wasn't so scared of breaking the sensor you could bet your ass that this screen would be leveled, even if it would take me all night.

Bud opened the bottom of the puck on his stream the other day and you could see it was really well made. In addition to heater design you can see that these guys also understand basic principles of industrial design. The problem with the TM is that he only knows about heater design, the vape body itself is only designed for easy assembly, not sturdiness or reliability. No industrial designer would ever put in all those pressure fit electrical connections and unsupported board mount items, those aspects will never be reliable (or at least not as reliable as they should be).

Ah yeah I thought it was you! So mine does not look that bad, I was really careful when I was touching it, and I try to be really cautious to only brush anything from around it on the silicone and not touch the screen itself much...

Haha yes thank you, reading this makes me certain I do not want to do it! My hands and back are sore just thinking about it!

Yeah so mine I think looks better than that still, probably fine and has not been actually moved at all...

I think it's exactly the same thing, feared just a slight little shift, if anything, making me think it got a little more domed perhaps? I don't think it's affecting performance so I don't want to touch it! Presumably fine

Haha yes the perfectionist brain I know what you mean, that's why I brought it up, and you're helping me realize I should ignore it!

I got some mail order CBD for the first time, check out that thread somewhere here for more details... But for the relevant info here, I've been doing some bowls of the flower in my TM, on its own and mixed with regular, below I did a bowl of regular lemon cello with some CBG keif on top:

Then after two hits on level 2, (I think only) one on level 3, and one on level 4:

Pretty nice experience! I have some CBD rosin coming that I will probably try in the Bowle too, along with some more flower in fruitier varieties that I am excited for...

Yeah don't touch that screen it's not worth it, you can barely see it's not the way it was before. That looks very tasty, must be amazing in the Bowle.

I prefer to use mine sans cup. I wish there were different stems for those that use it this way. There's no need for the high profile of the stem if there's no cup on it, so I think it'd be nice if they offered a lower profile stem.

Something like this, but done properly:

Haha nice! Xena taught you well ;)

I was thinking the same thing, but without it bending back the other way again, that would offer a whole lot of cooling though!

@Stu
I was dreaming of something similar but for hydratube connection.
Snake over the top of the puck like yours but end n the middle of the puck with a 14/18 male joint that HT would sit on.
BUT ....the Bowle vapor is so cool and smooth that water may not be needed. That says a lot about it.

Yes exactly, I think it would be a metal WPA, with o-rings around 18.8mm joint that tapers into a 14mm joint as well...

But we would also need to have one that does something similar but on the bottom (without blocking the air intake) so people can use on top of a regular bubbler, bong, or rig as well!

True it is not needed, though it would be impressive to see on the upper temperatures, and actually quite helpful for level 4 dabbing...

Plus it would allow for the connection of other female dry glass pieces like upside down j hooks etc (I have quite a few of these kind of pieces myself!)

I’m so weak....it’s late, I just popped 3 packs through my hopper in rapid succession, made the mistake of reading an article about Bernie Sanders being the new lead of the budget committee and was able to convince myself I’m just using a bit of the likely stimulus.
That’s it, I’m doing this to spur the economy..it would be ungrateful for me not to order.
Now the wait for it to cross North America to get to me 😁

Enablers...all of ya!
