@SquirrelMaster Yes it took care of everything after I did the 2 steps I mentioned. It was an easy operation. There is a comment box for you to put your order number in as well.

About how long has shipping been taking to get to the States?

Wow, it's like the ultimate vape. "Oh shit, I am walking by the vapbong, it's always loaded so....might as well rip it!" So convenient
That is a huge plus for this vape, for me anyway. I had a buddy look at these and the first thing he said was they're ugly:\
I love the look of most of them. Like I told my friend, nobody haw anything like that. It's interesting to me and I would like to
purchase one of these. Hoping the flavor profile is outstanding.

Well you never know, especially these days, but it was about a week door to door for me with UPS this past summer...

Well maybe your buddy is ugly :p:lol:
I will say the design wasn't as appealing to me at first when I discovered them, but it definitely grew on me... Not to mention the fancy art versions that don't even look the same (and potential new models coming)!

But really the glaze is my favorite part, as it always was, whenever I've worked with ceramics myself... Really need to do that again, I did try to make myself a bong three times in college (I mean yes, I made three bongs, just to varying success)

Anyway flavor is definitely shining through, I love fruity strains in general, and especially the berry flavors come out very nice. Feels fun to hit them through my plum jelly bandit, then taste matches the color!

That's how I felt at first as well. Wasn't crazy about the design but the glazes are so great. After spending hours researching, I LOVE the design now and every model makes sense in its own creative way. I love their work and I can see this as being an "Ohhh, a new design, I need it!" type of piece. True art.

@shopdognyc the classic is taller. The classic mouthpiece is about 28cm, while the bandit is 20cm. I got those measurements from Daniel at AoV.

I’m surprised they don’t include any spare screens in the box? I can’t imagine this screen will last forever. Has anyone measured it? Wondering if it’s a common size that can easily be replaced...
I saw an answer of 3/4”, that could be correct, I measured 13/16” and ordered that size off Amazon. I'll post when they're here, but I'm guessing either would work?

Yeah so Axel and Janine (aka Jaxel here and on IG) are in Portugal where they do the ceramic and glaze (I know they posted a photo with Doc Colly on IG too) then I think they go to Germany for the electronics, and Daniel does customer service for art of vapor in Germany as well.
I think they are fully assembled in Portugal including the electronics and everything – I see them testing custom builds on YouTube a lot, wouldn't work without the internals. Apparently all the electronica is assembled *before* the glaze and burning:

HaHa I will mention that to him. When I first looked at them I was intrigued and I felt like these were pure art. Granted, I prefer some designs over others, but I wouldn't have a problem owning any of them.

If the flavor profile is good then that should clinch it for me. I may have bought one anyway as they are so cool looking.

No worries @Alexis! I hear ya!
I have allergies to weed depending on the strain, it sucks, the process of discovering I can't stick my nose in a jar to smell was rough. But, I think that's what led me to these artisan vapes, the taste and process are where it is at. Vaping is so much better for me allergies/ sinus issues.

First time I looked at it on this thread I thought it was ugly as well.
Then last week I started reading the thread from the start, looking at the manufacturing vids and when I read all the thread I was sold.
Now I obsessively look at the shop everyday to see which pieces they sell. No more Eat Weed gang members as of today, Vito is gone! xD

I can’t deny the phallic look is weird and it’s one of the reason I went for the Bandit.

When the two balls are disguised in some ways in the artsy pieces I don’t mind it but speaking of classics i much prefer the Bandit.

I read through the thread as well but did not watch the German vids. After reading it all, I went on reddit and was laughing out so loud at the comments, my wife had to check on me lol.

There were too many funny comments to remember or list down but one that stuck with me was one about the Cappuccino Mint Classic. Someone posted a beautiful picture of it and was instantly bombarded with comments that it looked like a moldy cock and balls. They also further expanded on it that had me cracking till my tummy hurts lol!

I actually feel that both classic AND bandit looks equally like dick and balls. Just different sized ones LOL. Perhaps at a different angle or different mood ROFL. Classic looks happier, that's for sure!

Can't wait for my spotty Yardro dick and balls to ship tomorrow!

My mistake, the sign reads Daniel but my understanding was that the guy's name was Axel, so I supposed Daniel was Dr. Colly.
Placed another order for screens and a loading tool and since I made my order just past midnight of 20/11, judging by order numbers, they took a bit more than 50 orders, until now, in less than two days.
I think at this rate AOV will soon be listed on the stock exchange xD

Is there any way to have YouTube Art of Vapor subtitles in English or it’s German only?
edit:YT app seems off but I managed to translate the subs, on my mobile browser webapp.
Pretty straight forward. There so much content to be seen on their accounts.
Hello dear ones. This is Janine. So Donald alias Dr. Colly is the inventor of the Vapbog. Last weekend he moved from Portugal to Gran Canaria. You can follow him here:
Daniel is in Germany and takes care of all the issues outside the production. You are always in contact with him.
And Axel and I are Jaxel. Axel builds and I glaze. Also electronics / tuning. We always come up with new things. Like the Bandit and the Art Edition. You can follow us on YouTube. There we always present new Vapos.
Best regards Janine

Mine in Forest Green is also on its way. My country neighbors Germany so I can be pretty certain it'll arrive before the week is over. Somehow I remembered the color scheme being called Kermit and I kind of like it. Now I'm not one to anthropomorphize products by assigning them a gender and all, but I see no other way than to name my soon to arrive VapBong Kermit. Can't wait to feed it some yummy snacks and give that frog a big kiss.

A search showed some mention of members using hash through the VapBong. I've never tried vaping hash before out of fear it would melt into my device and I didn't feel like fucking around with herb sandwiches or similar solutions. My goal is to have a pure hash experience. Any of you tried this in their VapBong? Does it need a medium like hemp wool or something, to prevent it from getting messy? Being able to use hash again is kind of a big deal to me, as it was my favorite during my combusting days and it's been 10+ years since I last smoked hasheesh. I love the oily slices of hash that we get imported from Morocco, that once you crack it open shows this nougat-like gold 🤤

I've tried to vape hash with the Vapbong and it was very nice. I use bubble hash and I just put a layer of it to cover the screen completely, taste is amazing with the stuff I use. No problem with the clean up but I suggest to clean it right away when it's still hot, also the consistency of the hash you use might be messier than mine. The ceramic should be easy to clean and the screen can be torched or cleaned in iso. The first couple of pulls will heat up the hash and you will eventually start to taste the vapor. Even if I don't cover the screen completely I will still be able to get vapor but I'll take longer to heat the hash, vapor will be less dense. Bottom line try it and you will see if you can get the results you are looking for.
