I concur, even though what I have is from Trulieve, all three of the Star Dawg and the Star Dawg concentrate (forgot to mention that before) are outstanding in both flavor and effect.

I was blown away by both last night. So much flavor, and extremely potent effects. If memory serves, the Good Dawg was more uplifting and the Stardawg was a bit more relaxed. But that could be just because it was later in the night. Can’t wait to get home from work and have a bowl. I’ll start with the Stardawg tonight.

Thanks for the info @iammyself !!!!!

You too @CrazyDiamond !!!!!

I missed the boat on both of the Grow Healthy Dawgs in my area.

You guys had me drooling over the Dawg's so I checked Trulieve and they're out too.

Grow Healthy has 99 Problems (THC 26.28) and Emerald City Kush (22.68). I may pull the trigger on the 99 Problems.

Got enough Sativa's for a couple weeks though so I'll keep an eye out for the Dawg's too......

Here are the lab reports. Stardawg comes in at 26% total cannabinoids and 1.38% terpenes, while Good Dawg is 31.6% cannabinoids and 2.56% terpenes. I’m excited to need to re-up at Grow Healthy when these run out!

Hey @iammyself - where did you get those reports?
I emailed customer service because my packaging didn’t have the QR code on it. If I remember from the previous Grow Healthy orders I placed, I was able to scan the QR code on the packaging with a code reader app, and it opened the lab report link. Without the QR, I emailed them the batch and harvest numbers, and they got the reports in a couple days.

I couldn’t resist another mini Monday at Trulieve, despite not being real impressed last time. They had Dutch Hawaiian, which is one of the best value options for the minis; the full size option is their higher price $53 tier, while all minis are $27. So I got a couple eights. Lab report is attached.

The first eighth weighed in at 3.7g. Thanks for the extra full Mighty bowl! I’ll count the one I just had as the bonus-bowl.

I didn’t need to re-up, the Dutch Hawaiian is still going strong, and I have a nug of Good Dawg left, but I still hit up Grow Healthy on my way to work when I saw they had Wookie Girl in stock. I’d read good things about it on Reddit. I can’t wait to get home and try them out, they look and smell amazing. I can’t believe how much better Grow Healthy’s flower is than anyone else I’ve tried thus far.

Dang that Wookie Girl is frosty!
It is somehow the lowest THC of the bunch; Strawberry Haze is 24.884%, White 99 is 28.378%, and Wookie Girl is 21.216%. But it looks so good. I’ve tried Strawberry Haze and White 99. Both were fantastic. Wookie Girl is waiting for bedtime.

Edit: Just tried the girl. It may have the lowest THC, but definitely the highest terpenes. I don’t care enough to request the lab report from customer service to verify, but I’m sure I’m right.

Got my first order/delivery from GrowHealthy. Ordered 8, 3.5g units. I thought 3 of the 8 weighed in less than 1.5 grams and damn near lost my mind.

As soon as the driver left I wiped down the packages with sanitizing wipes and then weighed them. I was so shocked about the underweight units that I must have re-weighed them all 3 more times. I called support and they asked me to take a picture of the containers/herb on a scale and send it to them.

I WAS WRONG....all the containers look exactly the same so I concluded they weighed the same and I was weighing them in the containers. because I didn't want to open them all and only "tared" one container. The thought entered my head that maybe I should weigh the herb in the underweight container to be sure it was under and sure enough.....it weighed in at 3.5 grams!!! I then weighed the herb in each container and everything comes in at 3.5g.

@iammyself - I edited the post.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to apologize in a subsequent email.

Yea, I had the same realization a few months ago. It's not just these little plastic cups. Glass Mason Jars do not all the weigh the same either. I always use the same container now to weigh.

So what did you get? I just got some 99 problems, Emerald City Kush, and Big Pine Key earlier in the week from GrowHealthy. I love their bud.

I had to get new work shoes today so I figured I was in the neighborhood and picked some up from Trulieve and Surterra.
I usually don't go to Surterra because they limit you to just two lots of flower per day. I had looked last night at Liberty (they showed zero flower) and MUV (they only showed two flower and it was below 15%...already had concentrate from them on my last buy and they pretty much had the same).
Got three concentrates:
Trulieve, Mandarin Dream wax @ 75%
Surterra, LA Confidential wax @ 69%, Gorilla Glue Gelato shatter @ 69%

Trulieve flower
Sour OG Chem @ 25.6%

Bubble Gum @ 22.2%

Wade County Kush @ 27.6%

Surterra flower
Original Glue @ 22.7%

Cakez @ 28.5

I got 99 Problems and Stardawg - all had 25% THC according to the labels.

I noticed that the THC % for these two strains bounced around. When I ordered the delivery, there was a 6 day lag between the order and the delivery. I checked the availability each night while waiting for the delivery and the THC % bounced around 19% to 25%. The GrowHealthy site mentions that the THC% will differ for a strain based on the batch supplied and that extends to what you receive versus what you ordered. So if you order a strain for delivery that says it's 25% when you ordered it you could get that strain delivered with a higher or lower THC%.

I'm not thrilled that when I order something based on THC% there is no guarantee that that's the THC% I'll receive BUT I believe that a flower's THC% is no guarantee the high will be better or worse. IMO it's the way it's grown and cured and the entire entourage effect of that flower that matters and that includes terpenes. For example - I got some top tier with a much lower THC% that kicked the shit out of ALL the flower I had with an ultra high THC%. So what matters to me in the end is the "consistent" quality of the grow for that strain not the THC% and as I understand it based on reviews.....people seem to love GrowHealthy flower because of its overall consistent quality.

Will I continue to decide on a purchase based on THC%...probably, but if I get a lower % than what I ordered I'll let the overall effect tell the story.

Agreed @His_Highness. I have seen the % levels bounce around between the same strain; I just attribute that to the individual plant and not the strain since each individual plant has it's own very specific differences between another plant right next to it and being the same strain. I have grown hydro in the past and even clones from the same mother plant have slightly different characteristics between the clones (that part, for the longest time, I could not rap my head around it since they are clones from the same plant, however, clones taken from different areas of the mother, so I concluded that there will be subtle differences). Now that I have been researching on how to grow blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and apples, it reinforced that idea even more (I have not planted any yet, but I have already started prepping). I know you can't grow apples in Florida, but I'm going to try, especially after seeing apples growing in equatorial Africa where there are very few chill hours. I rambled, sorry all.

Curaleaf used to be my go-to dispensary when I was only buying vape carts, but since switching to flower vaping I stopped going there. They don't often have flower in stock, and when they do they have limited options. I finally decided to pick up an eighth of Grape Diamonds for $35 today to try them out. Overall, I'd say it's definitely a $35 eighth. Nothing super special, but adequate. The size is closer to minis or smalls I'd say. They do have a grape smell, but it isn't overwhelming, nor is the flavor. I just put two bowls through the Mighty, and am satisfied with it.

I'm happy to have cheaper options that get the job done. Between Curaleaf occasionally having $35 eighths, and Trulieve having $33 eights of Jack Herer and Northern Hashplant, I don't have to stock up on sale days just to feel like I'm not getting ripped off. None of them are my favorite strains ever, but they all hit the right balance of price and quality for me.

The trim could be better, and the size is smallish. As you'd expect from a budget eighth.

The best looking nug of the bunch. It's abv now.

TL is my local dispensary, so I've been buying some of their ground flower, to save some money. Their ground flower is ok, varies a lot, so I decided to try some of their "Minis" flower. WOW, really surprised at how mini the buds are, pea size, never saw buds this small. Should be called Micros! Some stems and trim in a few of the eighths. On the plus side, I received 2 different 10% discounts. :peace:

Ya the ones I show above from Surterra were all kinda small. I think the containers Surterra and Liberty Health use make harder for larger nugs maybe? (They are more tall where Trulieve's are more squat and round). And I won't be buying flower from Surterra ever again because they offer no vet discount on flower; their concentrate is good though. Yep, Tru is still king in this neighborhoos...wish we had more choices like you guys in the bigger cities.

I agree that the Jack Herer and Northern Hash Plant @ $33/eighth is the best value for nice buds from TL. :peace:

I had a delivery order for Tru where I had waited weeks to order Jack Herer and NHP at those prices. On the day of the delivery I got called by Tru to tell me they were all out of "Flower at the lower prices but I could still replace them in the order with the higher priced flower". I was offered nothing else for the mess up. I wanted to tell them to keep it all but it was around the time where the pandemic seemed to be causing a bit of hoarding and I felt like I needed to stock up.

Had to change mine to angry after re-reading. What you said @His_Highness is one of the reasons I don't do delivery, although I don't like how cramped the office is where we purchase...four registers in probably a 10X10 space or slightly bigger...quite annoying...and I've had people within 6 feet of me, fortunately they make everyone where a mask inside the establishment. I usually check in then sit in my car and wait for the text to say come in.

The Tru inventory process back then wasn't stellar. Back then they didn't have the check box on the web site to show only what's in stock. You just got that message about that strain being unavailable after trying to load the cart. I don't know if it's any better now but I do appreciate that "in stock" check box. Haven't got anything from TRU since the incident.

There was a bit of hoarding going on back then so I was willing to cut them some slack when they called the night before to tell me the $33 8th's I ordered several days back weren't available. But the guy on the phone didn't sound the least bit apologetic. If anything he sounded like he was doing me a favor of some sort. What set me off was his unapologetic attitude and not offering me something, anything, for the screw up to make it right.

That incident wasn't the first time Tru screwed up (St Augustine location). It was just the biggest screw up. In retrospect they kind of did me a favor because I started doing business with other dispensaries and found out there were plenty more than I realized AND most had first time customer discounts and second purchase customer discount that were significant. Tru ain't the only game in town around here anymore.
